Coincidentally, as I arise early at 3:30 a.m. to write down some things occurring to me, it happens to be 3 ½ hours into the first day of October, the tenth month of this year, 2025.
Also coincidentally, though not intentionally, this day is the 30th anniversary of our assuming ownership in 1995 of an 80-acre farming property located a few minutes southeast of Lethbridge. This was the birth date of Harvest Haven Market Farm, which has come through and been formed by blood, sweat, tears, death, hell, and high water. By God’s grace and His Grace alone, Harvest Haven has survived to this day, a new entity, and those of us remaining with it.
Thirty years have passed, along with many people coming and going, and now the survivors of this aforesaid development find themselves confronted by a new and greater challenge, no less than the advent, I believe, of a new sovereign nation.
It’s now 4 a.m. I hereby declare that the country we have known as the Dominion of Canada since 1867 is no more. Canada’s finished. It is toast, with no hope of return to the nation it’s been. It is corrupt through and through, a den of lawlessness, what the King James and other Bible translations call “iniquity.” God is finished with Canada. He has sent destroyers in to finish it off, and they have done their job well. Canada is no longer strong and free because its citizens did not stand up for it according to its anthem, “O Canada.” Whereas it had an anthem of pride, glory, and hope, now it can only have a dirge suitable for the occasion.
There are still millions of Canadians who sleep and don’t realize the evils coming upon them, though it’s happening in plain sight as I write. It’s amazing and I’m in awe. My neighbors get upset with me when I declare the sad and glad, bad and good news.
The Lord has given me to preach and warn for the past half-century, since 1975, of the coming judgment on Canada and the rest of the world. Canada has not listened to nor believed the Word spoken to it by www.ThePathofTruth.com, my site operating since about 2000.
Also, every 7 years since July 1977, the Lord has said, “I’m finished winking.” He was speaking of the evil, lawless, ungrateful, ungodly, careless, even religious lives of this nation, the West, and of the world.
However, here’s the good news promised for some. But first with some preamble. Since childhood in Manitoba, it’s been in my heart to live in Alberta. Decades later, in November of 1982, after a year of wandering through western Canada with my wife, as ordained and prophesied by God, He answered my prayer at Bird’s Hill, north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, as to where we should go. He spoke two decisive and climactic Words to me, “To Lethbridge.”
Immediately, we obeyed and came to Lethbridge, rented a home, waited on the Lord, and started a tiny handyman business to put bread on the table. Several months later, just when we were prospering enough to buy our own modest home, God spoke and said, “You’ll not be needing a home. You need to flee to the US.”
Within a few months, we purchased another trailer and headed out. Arriving at Bernalillo near Albuquerque, New Mexico, we remained there for several months until the Lord spoke to us in the spring of 1984. He said many things and made many wondrous promises. We were told to return to Lethbridge, and there, He said He would begin the work He had called us to. So twice, we were told to “go to Lethbridge.”
Here we are in October of 2025, these many years later, in Lethbridge. And now, I’m realizing with great excitement and awe, that God has called us to a phenomenal event, tremendous and glorious, totally unexpected.
God is doing a new thing. Back in 1976, in Prince Albert, God partnered us in fellowship with a Christian couple, Mickey and Lynn Patrick. We met with them every evening for months. Several times, Mickey, a prophet, prophesied by the Spirit of God, saying, “I am doing a new thing.” While expecting to start a spiritual work there, we had no idea what God was talking about, though we believed it. I believe what is now happening with Alberta is what God was talking about.
God is doing a new thing, alright. He’s bringing the Canada we’ve known with its horrid ungodliness to an end. No more Canada. Hard for many to believe, yes, but it’s true. Canada’s finished. Now, out of the flames of God’s Judgment and from the ashes thereof rises the phoenix, Alberta.
But, as recorded in the Scriptures and our histories, as God has been accustomed to do with His people Israel over millennia, God is saving a remnant of Canada, and this remnant is Alberta. There have been 10 provinces in Canada. God has been known to save a tenth while destroying the rest. Alberta is that province. I don’t know, nor do I expect that other provinces or territories of Canada will be a part of the new nation of Alberta. I only know that Alberta is chosen.
Not many in this world have witnessed God starting up a nation. I only know of one, and that is Israel. All other nations have been man-made. Alberta will be a nation formed by God and God alone. The ballot, the battler, and the buck will not suffice nor even come close. Only God can free us from the shackles, abuse, and tyranny of the Dominion of Canada. Albertans have been like the helpless Israelite slaves in Egypt, dreadfully taken advantage of by tyrannical rulers, unable to free themselves.
God prepared a savior, Moses, along with his brother Aaron, to deliver His and their people, Israel, from slavery. They did it without fighting or finances. Two unarmed men God sent to deliver a message to the Pharaoh, king of a powerful, wealthy, armed nation, saying, “Let My people go.”
By signs and wonders, the Israelites were saved from the powerful grip of oppressors. It was for God’s and not men’s glory. There was no army, no skilled army generals, eloquent orators, magicians, clever negotiators, politicians, or human powers to wield any sort of influence to win the day. No, this was God’s doing. He said to the Pharaoh by prophets, “For this cause have I raised you up that I might show My Power among the nations.” Once again, God will show His Power in this event.
God was glorified through mighty miracles. By His Divine and Direct Hand, Pharaoh was forced to “release the hostages” simply by the Word He spoke to Pharaoh through Moses and Aaron.
I have no idea how He’ll work out Alberta’s deliverance from Canada. I only know that it will be His doing, and it will be clearly evident.
Who are the people chosen by God as partakers of this new nation? I don’t know, but I do know this: Like Israel was chosen as a holy priesthood and peculiar treasure of people to serve God amid a dark world, so will Alberta be chosen. It wasn’t by human virtue that Israel was chosen. God said so. And it won’t be because of any virtue that people will be chosen to be citizens of this new nation.
I also know this: Alberta will not be separated for survival and glory just to go back to the old “normal” ways again. This time, God is doing a new thing. No more returning to immorality, lawlessness, and all manner of corruption. What good would that do? What good has it done for all the nations in the world throughout mankind’s history?
God had to destroy the entire world in Noah’s day, but for one family of eight. Even Israel, God’s chosen people, was corrupted so that they had to be destroyed as a consolidated nation for two millennia. But now, Israel is back. There is always hope, but only for those willing to wait and believe.
Yes, this time, God is doing a new thing. We’re talking about the beginning of the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth in a Gentile nation. Why Alberta? Only God knows and those He tells.
This country must be incorruptible. It can’t have the seed of corruption in its creation from inception. What happened with Noah? Ham, one of his sons, was corrupt. The time came when Ham’s descendants had to be destroyed for their corruption. Israel was sent in to destroy Canaan, all of it, man, woman, and child. Sad to say, Israel proved after some time to be no better a people. They became worse than the inhabitants they were sent in to destroy.
How can these things be? Can a pure nation be born? Has there ever been one? No, not that we know of.
If Alberta is reborn, unlike anything in history until now, it must be “made of better stuff.” The foundation of Alberta must be formed in Love, Truth, Justice, and the Law of God – all one. This country must be formed not by men’s beliefs and innovations, but by God’s Gift of Gracious Faith. We’re talking a miraculous event, an act of God, a work entirely impossible to men and only possible with God.
I think the creation of a new and independent country will be attempted first by men, as is now happening, then, in their shortfall, God will intervene. What a glorious day that will be!
This new nation’s building blocks and superstructure must begin with purity and holiness, not the religious kind at all (that’s been the cause of the essential problem), but in God-given Reality, the elements of it being Equity, Honesty, Humility, Holiness, Wisdom, Understanding, and Love of God and Neighbor throughout and forever.
No unclean thing can or will be permitted to germinate, sprout, or take root anywhere at any time to defile. No more defilement or the slightest possibility of it. Alberta must be rat-free, rats of the two-legged variety, along with the four. Have you ever known of any other country or province that has been rat-free by determinate means? Maybe you have, but I haven’t. No matter. Something to think about. Alberta has been special for some time.
There will be people coming, singing Ian Tyson’s lyrics “Think I’ll go out to Alberta; weather’s good there in the fall…”
“Be holy even as your Heavenly Father is holy,” said Jesus. This is God’s will, and His will must be done in earth as in Heaven. There is no alternative, and this is no pipe dream. It is the will of God that Alberta be special, and it will be.
So, where will the lines be drawn as to who is included in this New Alberta? Who becomes a “member in good standing” of this domain? Will it be perhaps another democracy? Surely, we’ve amply and sadly proven that democracy doesn’t prevail forever. Shall it be the perhaps more preferable republican form of government? Hasn’t America demonstrated, as the founding fathers of the Constitution feared a quarter-millennium ago, that unless the people were a Godly, Just, and Upright people in heart, “civilized” so to speak, there would be no hope in sustaining a healthy nation, no matter how wise and well-crafted their Constitution? So, what must it be? How shall this new nation be surely and securely founded?
I think of only one possibility: there must be the Leaven from Heaven beginning here to grow and spread out until all is leavened. A spiritual miracle, a supernatural manufacture, a reversal of nature, an antidote to rot, if you will. Impossible? For us mere men, humankind as they prefer to call it, indubitably, indisputably. For God? A piece of cake, a cakewalk for the right God.
Who is this “right” God? There have been many gods in our history, haven’t there? But in all of the earth’s history, only One has ever prevailed and won the day. Only One Man has ever overcome death, raising Himself in Power to reign over His entire universe with all authority forevermore. That One is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ, the Anointed of God, the One the Bible is all about.
Alberta, the New Alberta, I present to you the Lord Jesus Christ, Lord of lords and King of kings, Who has even overcome the final enemy, death, an enemy to which we all have been subject. If He can raise Himself from the dead, what CAN’T He do? Nothing is impossible to Him. And we are now on the cusp of witnessing a nation, Alberta, raised from the dead to new life.
Jesus Christ is the Only One Who can save us, breaking the chains of “Egyptian” bondage and slavery, of unjust use and abuse. Alberta is destined for Life, Glory, and Freedom. God, Jesus Christ, has ordained that it be so. All Glory to Him!
And as Israel spoiled the Egyptians of their treasures and walked out to freedom under Moses, so God will compensate Albertans for their history of tyranny under greedy despots. Just think! All that has been unjustly seized from Albertans these past decades will be restored, replenished, dare I say, many times over? I think so. When God anoints our heads and replenishes our losses, our “cup runs over.” He is a generous God, Merciful and Just.
As Israel, so Alberta has had to suffer the fires of a purifying furnace. God wants only pure gold, no impurities. Having paid the price by shedding His Blood to atone for Alberta’s sins and the sins of all humanity, He deserves nothing but the best, all of it. Praise be to God, Who has done it, is doing it, and will do it. He is the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega, our Lord and God Almighty.
Jesus Christ, originally known as Yeshua HaMashiach, the Jewish Messiah of Israel and the world, has the victory and will fulfill it for an undeserving people. That is the Glory of His goodwill and mercy toward us. He will cleanse and heal us so that we will no longer live as the undeserving, nor as those who deserve anything, but as people He has mercifully chosen and loved, and who love Him simply because He first loved us.
Here comes the New Alberta, not at all like the old, and not an addition to another nation in this world, namely, as the 51st state of the USA, but a new nation, prosperous, healthy, vigorous, just, holy, and true.
This new nation will be Independent of men because no longer independent of God. Our minds and hearts will be set on Him and on no other gods. We will be a great blessing to Him and to all. This is God’s will, the New Thing He Does.
