Dear Paul & Victor,

I have stumbled across your website and started reading your writings.  I have been one of the “brain washed” christians for years and have stopped going to church because I believe that the “church” is preaching Mammon louder that Jesus Christ Cruxified.

I accept your teachings and your scripture references and what you are stating makes sense. I always felt like I am missing a chuck of God somewhere, an emptiness, and though the Bible says “I am made whole”.

I also lived in spiritual fear since my “born-again” confession – I have never been assured of my salvation – hell posed a tremendous threat to me, and I found myself in constant torment regarding death and having to “burn in Hell” forever and ever!  I had no peace!  I am unable to not think of death and the unknown!

I am tormented day and night over this.  How can a loving God tell me that He will save my soul but if I slip up somewhere I will land in Hell and burn forever? And even if I try my hardest to not offend Him, changes are I am going to be spue out of His mouth and cast into Hell!

Am I to understand that I was taught wrong? – I cannot be saved unless I accept Jesus Christ as Lord! I cannot accept Jesus Christ as Lord, unless I believe Him!

To believe Him was also a problem for me, but after I read your writing, strangely, I do believe Him! I do accept Him as Lord over all and I am and I do hereby submit myself to his Lordship.  (I would like teachings regarding submitting to His Lordship).

BUT, I have a problem with:

There is not a ministry in South Africa that I know about that so not operate as you have descibed as “false” and not emphasizing Mammon – so how do I go about

Warning: If you are hearing this Word of God that He has sent us to preach, do not forsake the fellowship of His Body. Come and submit yourself to the Head through those whom He has appointed as ministers of the gospel and shepherds for your souls. There are no lone rangers in the fellowship of believers, but all are brought together for the same Goal:

Kind regards

Charmaine

Dear Paul and Victor,

I am confused with your teaching of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Jesus stated to the disciples that it was necessary for Him to leave so the Comforter may come (referring to the Holy Spirit) Also, Jesus is not on the earth today, but the Holy Spirit.

When the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray, Jesus said you should pray: Heavenly Father …..

In the Garden when Jesus was praying and in several instances, Jesus acknowledge the Father, i.e “take this cup from me” and “Father why have Thy forsaken me”?

Please enlighten me.

Also, I did not find the explanation on why the Word of God is not the Word who became flesh and dwelt among men, being Lord Jesus Christ?

Kind regards,

Charmaine

Hi Charmaine,

We bless the Lord for ministering the truth to you through this website He has given us. Where can you join the saints in fellowship? Where else?!

You’re welcome to join our Sabbath chats and Bible readings/teleconference calls, those that are at a suitable time in South Africa. Register for the Forum on any page on the site, and we’ll direct you to the instructions in the Private section for these meetings. There you can gather with us and other believers – there are even a few from your country.

As for teaching on His Lordship, here are several:

The Cross – Only the Death Sentence Will Avail
Taking Up the Cross: “What Is Required of Me?”
How One Is Saved
Law and Grace
Obedience
Repentance
So You Want to Walk with Jesus
The Sons of Correction
Submission According to God

You also ask about the one True God and His appearing in the flesh. Paul summed it up as follows:

“And without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (1 Timothy 3:16 KJV).

The questions and doubts you have and more are all answered in our writings; however, let’s take one statement you made and quickly answer it. You say:

Also, Jesus is not on the earth today, but the Holy Spirit.

Who was it that stopped Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus and what did He say to Saul?

And Who said what to the disciples just before leaving them?

John 14:16-18 MKJV
(16)  And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, so that He may be with you forever,
(17)  the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him nor know Him. But you know Him, for He dwells with you and shall be in you.
(18)  I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, so that where I am, you may be also” (John 14:3 MKJV).

Don’t try to figure it out, Charmaine. If you know Jesus Christ is Lord, as your email subject line declares, then obey Him – the One and Only Single Voice of God commanding and directing you into life. Doing that, you’ll know and understand all that you need to about Who He is.

“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true; and we are in Him that is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life” (1 John 5:20 EMTV).

With a focus on following the Lord, you can continue to read from the sections that answer your questions:

Jesus Christ Is God
The Trinity

You ask: “Also, I did not find the explanation on why the Word of God is not the Word who became flesh and dwelt among men, being Lord Jesus Christ?

Why would we explain that the Word of God is not Jesus Christ, when plainly He is the Word of God made flesh? Or did you mean something different?

From: Mary Sent: October 13, 2015 2:56 PM To: Victor Hafichuk Subject: What an awesome testimony Victory, I find myself reading your testimony like I am ready my own written book.  I am in Charis Bible College 4th year.  The Lord started showing me scriptures that didn’t convey the same message as I was being taught. Our Spirit is perfect but our souls and body aren’t and won’t be until we receive our glorified bodies.  I just couldn’t wrap mind head around that.  or We shouldn’t sin but if we do, thank God for Jesus.  He justified all sin.  I was actually spiritually throwing up.  That ate at me. Andrew teaches the true word of God but always but a twist on it.  He just taught about Pride and then said that Jesus died for all our sins. He has this body, soul and spirit book that is only his opinion but in order for it to work I have to either ignore scripture or twist it to fit. The Lord showed me that he died breaking the dominion of sin, The cross keeps us from sin not in it. Anyway, Jesus woke me up telling me that his when people say they believe they don’t.  I woke up in tears.  I love him so much. I can’t believe all the scripture that tell us what we will must do to obtain what the Lord so purposely died for us to have is not being taught.   By listening to Jimmy S.  That’s when I discovered true salvation without works message.  I know he is on your list but the truth is if it’s true still works. Do you have any teaching on the Spirit....
The Son Is God, Not Merely a Role
From: Jason To: The Path of Truth Sent: Monday, May 09, 2016 2:30 PM Subject: Trinity RE:  You article on the Trinity:  https://www.thepathoftruth.com/falsehood-exposed/trinity/asininity-of-the-trinity.htm I enjoyed reading your article, and have long had issues reconciling the "trinity" myself.  Thus, this is why I find your perspective very interesting.  The one verse that I was hoping to see an explanation for was John 3:16 which is obviously one of the most quoted verses in the Bible. "16 “For God so loved the world,[a] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."  I read this as a gift ("gave") of something that God possessed ("his") [other than himself]. I'm curious as to how you reconcile this into your example that the "Son" is just a role and not another persona or manifestation of the one true God.  This could have easily been written by the sovereign God to say, "For God so loved the world, that he gave himself as a Son..."  But, it does not, it says that "he" (God) gave his only Son (a "person" or "persona" that was not himself)... Can you share your thoughts on this verse? Thanks in advance!!!
