Subject: Response to article on HIGH PLACES
I enjoyed reading your article on high places and the good kings who removed them, however your information lacks some truth.
King Asa may have been a good king, however he DID NOT remove the high places as you stated.
Please read 1Kings 15:14.
This Scripture clearly states that although King Asa’s heart was fully committed to the Lord he failed to remove the high places.
I strongly suggest you correct this error, so that those who are searching Scripture will not be rendered untruths.
It is imperative that we as Born Again Believers in Christ Jesus share ONLY what is truth according to the Holy Bible.
Have A Wonderfully Blessed Day!

Thank you, Carma, for bringing the oversight about king Asa not having removed the high places to our attention. Although Asa’s heart was perfect with the Lord and he did many good works of faith, you’re right that the Scripture says the high places weren’t removed in his days.
We welcome any other valid corrections.
Meanwhile, did you not get the larger message of the writing about the nature of the high places, and how God detests them? You sign your letter as “Dr.,” signifying your degree from a high place that promotes the establishment and exaltation of other such works of men that brings the wrath of God on many. Yet you write: “It is imperative that we as Born Again Believers in Christ Jesus share ONLY what is truth according to the Holy Bible.”
Consider that you’re fulfilling the words of the Lord Jesus Christ: “Blind guides who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!” (Matthew 23:24 MKJV).
Surely you should be finding much more at our site that you consider being in error than this simple oversight. Try reading:

Northwestern Seminary is an institution of men and not of God. It honors men with worldly titles as “Reverend” and other glories of the flesh. What sort of godly education is that? Where do you find such proud and carnal conduct among “Born Again Believers in Christ Jesus” in the “Holy Bible”? “Doctor Paul and Doctor Peter”? “Reverend James and Reverend John”?
We hope you’ll stop glorifying men and discrediting God by taking on the paths of the destroyer (Psalm 17:4 KJV) with seminaries, carnal religious knowledge, degrees and men’s titles, and come to be a broken and humble servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, seeing Him as He is and not as men proclaim Him to be.
We can’t offer you any titles or theological papers but by God’s grace we can make known to you the Living Christ. Our doctrine will teach you to not call yourself “Mother” or “Doctor” or “Reverend” or “Rabbi.”
Again, thank you for the correction. The change is made.

Subject: RE: Response to article on HIGH PLACES
In response to your statement, I do not consider myself a “little god” nor do I walk in pride over my accomplishment. Yes, with God’s help, guidance, and favor He has allowed me to receive a Doctorate degree, in which I am so grateful for. I am quite aware of the fact that without my Savior and Lord I am a ship without a sail. At a very young age God planted in my heart 2 Corinthians 3:5, which says, ” Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God.”
The title in which I have humbly earned has absolutely nothing to do with my relationship, or my revere for Jehovah-Tsidkenu. It is His sufficiency, grace, mercy, wisdom, favor and knowledge that allowed me to achieve the goal I set before Him. Scripture says, “Delight yourself in the Lord: and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart” (Psalms 37:4).
Regarding the Scripture you quoted, it is so sad to know that someone who considers himself a Believer would twist the Word of God to make an invalid point. If you read Matthew 23:23-26, ( one must always read the Scripture before and after in order to get a clear understanding of what GOD IS SAYING) Jesus is saying the following:
The Pharisees majored on minors, having rules for every minute area of life, while forgetting about the important things. Moreover, these “religious” leaders put on a righteous appearance before others, they wanted the praise of men. Their hearts were full of hypocrisy, pride, lust and wickedness. In other words, they were like painted tombs, beautiful and attractive on the outside, yet with foulness and corruption hidden inside.
Jesus is condemning those who allowed their self-righteous attitude, hidden sins and legalistic scruples to keep them from developing genuine Christian character! These Scriptures clearly affirms the fact that the important qualities God is seeking from me are justice, mercy, faithfulness, obedience, faith, love and an UNDIVIDED HEART THAT FEARS HIS NAME!!!
He does not condemn His children for acknowledging the educational level they have achieved. God knows that it is ONLY because of Him blessings are rendered and goals are accomplished. Only man condemns, due to the spirit of jealousy and discord! This is where carnality takes hold! ” For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? (1 Cor. 3:4) Read the next few Scriptures to get the clear picture! Also read, (Gal. 5:19-26).
Furthermore, your analysis of “High Places” in relationship with my title is invalid. When God spoke about The “High Places” He was referring to the centers for Canaanite idol worship (mountain top open-air altars on elevated knolls near towns) that the Israelites were commanded to tear down. In disobedience to God they would go to these “High Places” (where the Canaanites worshipped 26 major gods and goddesses) to worship Baal and Ashtoreth. As a result, they were seduced year after year to flagrant sin! (Isaiah 57:4-5). I WORSHIP ONLY GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, THE HOLY GHOST! I do not worship a title or man!!
Why I worship my Lord only….
1). Because of Who He is (Rev. 5:5-7)
2). Because of Where He is (Rev. 5:6)
3). Because of What He Does (Rev. 5:8-10)
4). Because of What He has (Rev. 5:11-14)
More so, you spoke about the title Reverend, Mother etc. I DO NOT BELIEVE in addressing an individual as “Reverend” ONLY GOD is to be REVERE!
The title Mother I disagree with you. I strongly believe that elderly women within the body of Christ, who have lived a holy life before God, exhibiting the Fruit of The Spirit, and have faithfully worked in the church, should be given the due respect. Most importantly they are the “Mothers” of the Church, teaching the younger women how to live a holy life ( Titus 2:2- 5). ALSO, THE BIBLE CLEARLY STATES… “….OLDER WOMEN AS MOTHERS, AND YOUNGER WOMEN AS SISTERS, WITH ABSOLUTE PURITY” (1 Tim. 5:2).
I am of the Pentecostal faith and this is our belief. I stand by it and WILL NOT be swayed! My question to you is out of respect do you not called the one who birth you “Mother”?????? Does this title cause her to feel like a “little god” ? I would say not!!!
about my walk with the Lord. Furthermore, The Bible speaks of Pastors, Prophets, Apostles, Evangelist, Ministers (Ephe. 4:11, 1 Tim. 4:6, 2 Cor. 3:6) Are these not TITLESthat are utilize within the body of Christ??? No matter what Church you attend you will find this titles being utilized. If utilizing such titles OR an earned title, (theological, medical doctor, judge, officer etc.) is pride, God would have revealed that in His Holy Word. It appears to me that He does not condemn this. This is an issue you alone have and need to work out.
Last, I am offended and saddened that you would judge me and my relationship with Jesus Christ. You do not know anything about me or anything
Remember God said… “Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another; In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel” (Rom. 2: 15-16).
Upon emailing you my intent was only to reveal to you your error, so that it could be corrected. It is imperative that others who are new in Christ or those who are searching the Scripture for truth will find the WHOLE TRUTH!
“STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED UNTO GOD, A WORKMAN THAT NEEDETH NOT BE ASHAMED, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH” (2 Tim. 2:15)

Carma,
The very gesture of calling yourself “Dr.” (of theology) contradicts the Scripture (2 Corinthians 3:5) you claim to have taken to heart. Instead of, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God,” what you’re truly saying by advertising your supposed “theological expertise” is: “We are sufficient of ourselves, and are deluded into thinking our sufficiency is of God.”
You’re right that your title has absolutely nothing to do with your relationship or reverence for God – it has everything to do with your lack of relationship and reverence for Him. You don’t know Him because you don’t obey His commandments or keep His ways. Reverence for God is absent as you serve the imaginary god of your fleshly mind, receiving the desires of your uncircumcised heart.
You continue straining at gnats and swallowing camels by arguing that the context of Matthew 23:24 exonerates you. I quote the verses you added:
(23) Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithes of mint and dill and cummin, and you have left undone the weightier matters of the Law, judgment, mercy, and faith. You ought to have done these and not to leave the other undone.
(24) Blind guides who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!
(25) Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of extortion and excess.
(26) Blind Pharisee! First cleanse the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of them may be clean also.
You say this shows how the Pharisees majored on the minors, but you do exactly the same when correcting a minor fact in our paper while overlooking and rejecting the paper’s cardinal message – “the important things.” You piously declare, as if you were saving someone from spiritual ruin should they believe Asa removed the high places: “It is imperative that others who are new in Christ or those who are searching the Scripture for truth will find the WHOLE TRUTH!”
Wow, such grandiosity of virtue and doing on your part! True mountain-making from molehills.
Condemning your spiritual fathers (the Pharisees) while doing the same thing they did makes you a hypocrite – just like them.
Here’s a choice example of your hypocrisy:
“Moreover, these ‘religious’ leaders put on a righteous appearance before others, they wanted the praise of men.”
You call yourself “Dr.” and praise your own humility (“The title in which I have humbly earned…”) – if that’s not putting on a righteous appearance, what is?
Therefore your negative assessment of your fathers equally applies to you, their daughter:
“Their hearts were full of hypocrisy, pride, lust and wickedness. In other words, they were like painted tombs, beautiful and attractive on the outside, yet with foulness and corruption hidden inside.”
You say of the verses in Matthew 23: “Jesus is condemning those who allowed their self-righteous attitude, hidden sins and legalistic scruples to keep them from developing genuine Christian character!”
Those who are self-righteous have no choice but to be legalistic sinners. You betray your self-righteousness by implying you’ve chosen differently. You have merely used window-dressing to present yourself as righteous, just as you condemn your fathers.
You imply we’re jealous of your educational attainment. Nothing could be further from the truth. We detest the notion of being “doctors” of theology, a blasphemous title that stinks to Heaven. You can be certain God condemns the religious degrees of men for the arrogance and lies they propagate.
An example from your letter:
“Furthermore, your analysis of ‘High Places’ in relationship with my title is invalid. When God spoke about The ‘High Places’ He was referring to the centers for Canaanite idol worship (mountain top open-air altars on elevated knolls near towns) that the Israelites were commanded to tear down.”
That’s certainly what they taught you in religion school, but how is your factoid applicable today? Do we see such altars anywhere? Technically speaking, no, but spiritually speaking, they’re everywhere. And how couldn’t they be, when the Lord and His apostles warned us that things would get worse, not better, before He came to clean up?
Here’s what Paul said of those Scriptures where God spoke of the “high places” in the “Old Testament”:
“And all these things happened to them as examples; and it is written for our warning on whom the ends of the world have come… Wherefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry” (1 Corinthians 10:11,14 EMTV).
“All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17 MKJV).
But you can see nothing because you’re full of knowledge that’s useless to you, being devoid of wisdom. You’re one of those silly women led captive, ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of the Truth.
As for calling women “mother,” we were speaking of religious titles such as “Mother” Teresa or “Father So and So.” You waste your efforts in non-relevant arguments because you can’t hear or understand anything the Lord has given us, and what’s far worse, you don’t want to. You’re a proud Pentecostal who will die before you listen and change, even though the Scriptures you think to know condemn your sectarian stance (see The Case for Coming Out).
You talk about the ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and so on as though your doctor’s degree is equivalent to an authentic calling of God. But here’s the difference, in your own words (my emphasis added): “If utilizing such titles OR an earned title, (theological, medical doctor, judge, officer etc.) is pride, God would have revealed that in His Holy Word.”
God’s ministers don’t earn their designations – they’re called and separated into their calling by Him alone, so the glory is His, as with Saul of Tarsus (Acts 13:2). But those who earn or are given their titles by men seek glory for themselves, which thing God hates and has made abundantly clear in the Scriptures, to those who have eyes to see.
“And he [Jeroboam] made a house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, who were not the sons of Levi” (1 Kings 12:31 MKJV).
The sons of Levi didn’t earn their title of priest; they were made priests by God. But any scoundrel can become a priest, pastor, bishop, or “Dr.” of men.
“After this thing Jeroboam did not turn from his evil way, but turned and made priests of the high places from the lowest of the people. He who desired [“It is His sufficiency, grace, mercy, wisdom, favor and knowledge that allowed me to achieve the goal I set before Him.”] he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places. And this thing is the sin of the house of Jeroboam, even to blot it from off the face of the earth” (1 Kings 13:33-34 MKJV).
Finally, you tell us you’re offended by what we’ve told you:
“Last, I am offended and saddened that you would judge me and my relationship with Jesus Christ. You do not know anything about me or anything”
So foolish you are, Dr. Carma. We know everything about you as stated, which is the heritage of God’s servants, who judge all things. These things you weren’t taught in divinity school, yet you think to have become an authority on the Scriptures.
1 Corinthians 2:14-16 MKJV
(14) But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
(15) But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged by no one.
(16) For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.
If you had anything spiritually going for you at all, you would be thankful to hear the truth we’ve spoken to you, hurtful as it would be to your pride. You are not “in Christ,” having never known Him and even now despising His appearance. We’re so thankful to be rejected by the high and mighty doctors of this world, knowing it’s because we’re identified with Him.

Paul,
Since it appears to be you are a “Unlearned Religious Pharisee” as oppose to an Geniune Born-Again Believer, who really do not know the Word of God, I do not have, nor do I desire to spend precious time arguing with you over the Word of God!!! Moreover, if you were such a devout “Christian” ( note I did not say Born Again Believer, or Saint of God) you would not argue over the Word of God!!!!!
God’s Word says, “Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Tim. 2: 14-15)
” But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive, but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient…” (2 Tim. 2:24-25)
Last, God’s Word lets me know that I am not to engage in the arguments of fools!
” Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him’ (Proverbs 26:4)
Therefore, any emails you send will be deleted immediately. I did not read this one you sent. It is sad and ashamful that you could not have just said “Thank You” for letting you know about the error posted. A GENUINE BORN AGAIN BELIEVER would have done just that, as oppose to trying to tear a person apart!!!!!

If you didn’t read the letter, how can judge us by what you haven’t seen? At every turn, “Doctor,” you’re found to be Satan’s servant – a liar and accuser of Christ’s brothers.
