Definition of False Teacher: One who presumes to teach in the Name of the Lord when God has not sent him.

False Teacher – Charlie Kirk

There has been much said and speculated about following the death of Charlie Kirk. He has been described as a modern Billy Graham by some conservative Christians, and a racist, misogynist fascist by the rabid left. But what does God say? That is the only thing that counts.

Victor, may I ask, how did the assassination of Charlie Kirk affect you personally, how did you process it?

I am asking because I haven’t seen or heard anything from you about that event and I’m curious to know.

For me it brought up questions like what’s God’s plan here, was he actually a martyr or is there something else going on?

I don’t believe a true man of God, a follower of Christ would be so praised and loved by the world after his death like Charlie Kirk was. No where in scripture did that happen. It reminded me of what you wrote about Billy Graham, where the same thing happened after his death.

But I do think this was a spiritual attack by darkness to try to put out light, the true things Charlie was saying.

I think the assassin should be publicly executed to make a display of what happens to people like him, to show others who are considering doing the same thing that it will not end well for them.

At my workplace my boss hung a massive poster of Kirk on the outside of our shop which is right along a busy highway. At first I was skeptical, thinking that’s just hero worship. But now after seeing some of the hate they received from it, I’ve come to appreciate it. Appreciate that those who I work for are publicly standing up for the side of decency.

They’ve received hate from people cursing out loud driving by, phone calls and comments on social media. Though most of the feedback they have gotten has been positive and in support.

I asked the Lord to give me to write what’s needed in the answer to your inquiry, both for you and all others who will read this.

As you said: “I don’t believe a true man of God, a follower of Christ would be so praised and loved by the world after his death like Charlie Kirk was. No where in scripture did that happen. It reminded me of what you wrote about Billy Graham, where the same thing happened after his death.”

The Lord did say, and His Word ever holds True:

15 And He said unto them, Ye are they who justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. (Luke 16:15)

At the death of the saints and prophets, there has been no hero worship, except by children of darkness, who “garnished the tombs of the prophets.” Besides, whatever happened to the Law against images? Today, it’s so easy with modern technology to create giant and multitudinous images of Charlie Kirk and all things related.

You also said, “But I do think this was a spiritual attack by darkness to try to put out light, the true things Charlie was saying.”

That is also very true. Goodness is relative. Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.

How relative are goodness and evil? Don’t we realize that both came from the same tree in the Garden of Eden? That said, both have a purpose.

And didn’t the Lord, by Isaiah, declare: “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things” (Isaiah 45:7)?

Reactions of people will be all over the place, mostly indifferent, many mixed and diverse, confusing, mild, extreme, right, and wrong. Baal worshippers can seem “positive” in worshipping a hero, seeing that Charlie has said and done good and even great things, as many, if not all, Baals have.

As I’ve said, there are those who, along with falsehood and error, even great heresy, teach a truth, which in itself is valid and worthy, and even several truths, all of which are valid and worthy, yet often accompanied by lethal error, like arsenic, invisible to children of darkness in an otherwise wholesome, nutritious, and satisfying meal.

Deception can be so powerful. Jesus said that if it were possible, even the elect of God might be deceived. When God purposes to send strong delusion, who can escape? Is anyone smarter than God? And if they think so, aren’t they thus subject to delusion and already in it?

We all need to be diligent, sober, and vigilant, reminding ourselves that God creates both light and darkness, good and evil, and He is the One Who sends strong delusion to try men’s hearts. God tries all hearts.

The apostle Paul wrote, “There must be heresies among you so that those who are approved (of God) might be made manifest.”

Didn’t the Lord say, “Behold, I set before you life and death. Now, choose life that you might live”? God lays it all out for us and calls us to choose.

God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. I was very sad. Like many others, I also cried when Charlie died. I loved Charlie, his zeal, energy, reason, virtue, knowledge, eloquence, intelligence, commitment, good works, sacrifice, apparent love of the Scriptures and Truth, holiness, and concern for the welfare of humanity, particularly America and the West, for its essential Judeo-Christian influence.

“Apparent,” I say, because only God knows the heart, and things are never as they can appear. Jeremiah says, “The heart is deceitful above ALL things and desperately wicked. Who can know it?”

Charlie was sent to try many. They have been and will be snared and found wanting. He has been a mighty hunter before God, like Billy Graham and so many other “giants in the earth,” men of great stature, as in Noah’s day. His work is done, and God’s purpose has been fulfilled with him. He has died a sinner’s death, deceiving and glorified by sinners, and has gone into judgment.

For such things as I’ve said here, given Charlie’s fame and popularity, I’ll be hated to death. Nevertheless, this is what I understand to be true. Note how Charlie fulfills so many of these marks: https://www.thepathoftruth.com/falsehood-exposed/true-marks-of-a-cult.htm. It might be good for people to examine Charlie according to that document. All of you might take on the project of determining which marks apply to him and discuss these matters with one another, say, at The Floor, for example.

So much more can be said and explained. If anyone has anything to ask or add, please do.

Hello Victor,

I appreciate the letter, and the care you put into it. Who am I to deserve the respect you give me?

What stands out to me is how Truth is so nuanced and good and evil relative as you say.

It’s so contrary to what I was taught and indoctrinated to believe.

What I mean is that I can acknowledge that my employers are engaging in blatant hero worship in the way they’re treating Charlie’s death, but I can still appreciate them for it in so far as they’re not ashamed to side with the decency that Charlie represented in the face of some strongly leftist customers and hate from the general public.

I can acknowledge that Charlie was not a man of God and was in sin, but still appreciate the good he brought.

Instead of condemning completely as though eternal torment awaits, or the other side of the spectrum where I worship the man because of the good, and blind myself to reality.

To be able to see things this way is freedom. Freedom from the dark, prideful spirit of condemnation which rules the Amish and has ruled me.

Thank you for teaching me these things and leading me to the Lord.

Paul
