Why We Judge Others

I recently came upon your online site. Ive never came upon a minister whom my beliefs match up to as much as they do your beliefs. Though i am curious about one aspect of your website: you blatantly take upon yourself to judge and be very critical of other people-it seems mostly other pastors from what ive read so far-and they in turn seem to judge and be very critical of you as well. As if you people are concerned in proving each other wrong and that each of you teach the “true” interpretation of Christ.

Isn’t whomever is teaching the true Christ be able to stand alone without injecting hatred? My question Victor is this: why are you so concerned with trying to prove-through scripture-that all the other pastors are scumbags and only you are right about the gospel? Aren’t we supposed to Love our enemys?-given that light and love are the only things to extinguish hate and darkness?

If a man truly has the spirit of Christ then wont they themselves be able to discern the darkness and see false teachers for themselves or are you the only man who has the spirit of christ?

Im not sure you will even read this email-i was excited when i came upon your website Victor-but my concern is that although you seem to be interpreting Christ in the same manner as myself you also seem to be allowing hate to unnecessarily creep into your teachings as well. I do not intend to judge you Victor so i hope you dont think that way. Again-i was thrilled to come upon your wisdom in Christ. Take care and God be with you Victor!

I sent you the below message a few days ago and i just now realised i was being judgemental of you and for that i sincerely apologise.  I am a sinner in this world as we all are and i really dislike when i judge people. You have a ministry that aligns to my beliefs unlike any other i have encountered before and your words ring true. And although i wonder why ministers need to always tear each other down, trying to prove that theirs is the only “true interpretation” it isnt my lot in life to question why any ministers to do as they do because then i would be treading upon another mans work in Christ. And you my friend  have diligently worked! I saw your youtube videos and you also have a lovely voice and talent for writing. Anyway Victor-i hope i didnt offend you by questioning why you and the other ministers seem to quarrel so much even though i truly wish everybody in this world could all love their neighbors as themselves it would be hypocritical for me to point that out to anybody given that i am unable to do so myself.  Life is truly this simple: God is Love.

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them” (Ephesians 5:11 MKJV).

“Those who sin, rebuke before all, so that the rest also may fear” (1 Timothy 5:20 MKJV).

“Preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine” (2 Timothy 4:2 MKJV).

“Speak these things, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you” (Titus 2:15 MKJV).

“And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied to these, saying, Behold, the Lord came with myriads of His saints, to do judgment against all, and to rebuke all the ungodly of them concerning all their ungodly works which they ungodly did, and concerning all the hard things ungodly sinners spoke against Him” (Jude 1:14-15 MKJV).

Hi Rick,

It seems you’re being decent about your criticism of me so there is that to say about it, for better or worse, whether a politically correct or earnest attempt at godly civility with the consideration you may be wrong.

Believe it or not, one of my weaknesses, if one may call it that, is to give people benefit of doubt and credit where they are due, no matter who it may be, faithful friend or inveterate, implacable foe. More on that in a few minutes to test your love.

Certainly, no hatred here for persons, Rick, but equally as certainly, no doubt we transmit God’s hatred for evil. Read Matthew 23 and you’ll find the Lord expressing perfect hatred for evildoing. Nor is that an isolated passage in testimony or principle. Read Does God Speak Only Gentle Words?.

An obvious problem is that what you read in our response to others is predominantly to our enemies, to wolves in sheep’s clothing, those who deceive the general believing and unbelieving public into thinking our gainsayers and judges are true Christians. So, it could well appear we are full of hate, which isn’t the case at all. And I now defend myself for your sake and not mine, with the hope the Lord opens your eyes and His perspective catches hold of you so that you might have life abundantly.

You’re right when you say, “Love is all that matters!” Do you love your enemies, Rick? How far do you go with that love? Do you, for instance, love our greatest foe, the Devil? Do you? Does God? We do, and that’s because God loves Him, contrary to prevailing attitudes of orthodox Christianity. Read: Guess Who Appreciates Satan

Did you know that if there’s no hope for Satan, there’s none for you? So the Scriptures testify? Read The Origin and Identity of Satan. You’ll be surprised to discover that contempt for Satan is self-hatred.

Perhaps I’ve given you a different sort of day today, Rick? The Lord’s will and none other be done. Amen.

Richard, Paul here. We received your second letter and apology after Victor wrote the above reply, but saw no need to amend his reply as you’ll see that no offence was taken. Instead, the Lord has provided for your need.

Yes, Richard, I did read it. Did you not read Paul’s note at the end of my letter? Not a problem at this end. How about for you?

Condemning Jesus With Fake Marks of a Cult
From: Frank To: The Path of Truth Forum Sent: Tuesday, December 13, 2016 10:48 AM Subject: Some characteristics of Cults The following are basic patterns, or characteristics, found in almost all cults that one can easily identify. Additions - Cults add to the Word of God by having additional writings they call scripture, or by saying that only the Bible is God's Word but you cannot understand it without their interpretation from their own teachers or books. The Bible is discouraged to be read alone. Subtraction - Cults subtract from the Person of Jesus by saying he is something less than Eternal Deity. Or they will add their own teacher as deity. Multiplication - Every false religion has works as part of their system of salvation. They also usually specify what works must be performed at a certain level for acceptance to their group and God. Mediators- They will always have others involved for ones salvation by others. For the J.W.’s it is the 144,000. for the International Churches of Christ its discipleship partners. For Mormons it is to join their church for salvation and use their materials- Doctrine and Covenants, Journal of Discourses and the Melchizedek priesthood. Divisive - Cults have people choose by dividing a person's loyalty. It's God through their leadership by claiming to be the only Spokesman or group for God. They also require obedience to their leadership to be in right standing with God. They do not tolerate another’s differing opinions...
The Final Judgment of a Miserable Fool - Jerry Naught, a.k.a. Harold Hesler
Name: Harold Hesler Email: Subject: other Teaching: Message: It would not surprise me at all if You have had many who strongly disagree with You. First: NOTHING in the New Testament requires individuals to be "fruit inspectors" it is simply how we would know them. You "claim" of legitimacy is based on "dreams".....really? Sure there are people to beware of BUT Your error is on of the very superiority you attempt to refute in others. Your blatant self righteousness equates to nothing more than that of a modern day pharisee. Second: I do not need to defend, yet that is what this may be. You sit in Your office dreaming of finding errors and yet as an example have NEVER built a University or had thousands upon thousands in a single tent meeting, that is FRUIT!. O, please You can't handle the truth. Those "evil spirits" you noticed in "praise" and "worship" during Kenneth Copeland meetings were an attempt to stop the very thing that group of believers were doing, the same thing YOU are trying to stop. Why is Kenneth E. Hagin not within You list? Third: Your a miserable person comparable to Ellen G. White (also on Your list)who claim a vision (mandate) of the Lord. So it is then OK for You to espouse a heavenly given mandate but not others? So many people like You have "come to late" to convince others who have, unlike You, a strong foundation. It ain't about Cowboys and/or's about Heaven or Hell, start there! On Apr 26, 2021, at 10:41 AM, Mart...
Help, I'm Apostate!
From: Joseph To: The Path of Truth Sent: Saturday, July 02, 2016 4:54 PM Subject: Apostate I Think I've been Cut Off I fell into to many snares and gave satan to much to work with. My family has been over ran and I lost track of what I was being called out of. I've been on prescription pain killers for over 10 years now for a back problem (Addicted) My main focus in life was to get on disabilty instead of pleasing God and I built up a false realty that my way of life was acceptable with God, then when I started to get off of the pain killers I realized the damage that I had done to my brain (Bipolar Disorder) and have been overwhelmed by dysfunctional horrible intrusive thoughts, Panic attacks, breathing problems and my sleeping patterns are off. I have a fearful realization that God had turned me over to reprobation. My wife is a unbeliever and I never fully broke away from my old life. My wife and I are separated now and none of my children are christians. I fear the Holy Spirit may have left me. How far will God go to keep you from falling away? I've prayed and tried to turn things around but to much damage has been done and I am not well. Would he turn someone over to Satan (Which I know he has done) for the destuction of the flesh 1 Co 5:5 (or because I've become a castaway) I'm hoping he would go to these extreems to keep me from being cut off. I know the Holy Spirit came into my life when I was 20 years old and I had a indescribable Joy at that time but since ...
