Since you guys don’t believe hell is eternal torment, then where do you think sinners will go, and what will happen to them? Like all the hall of false prophets you have on your website, where in the bible it states they receive much greater condemnation. What do you guys think happens them?

Sinners are in hell, Tyrone. Hell is a spiritual place of darkness, where people are cut off from the Lord – the Light of All Men. But the state of hell isn’t an end unto itself, as taught by counterfeit Christianity and believed by you.

Read The State and Fate of Hell and The Great Promise of the Lake of Fire and the Second Death.

The Lord said to the false teachers of His day: “Serpents! Offspring of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?” (Matthew 23:33 MKJV) The scribes and Pharisees were in hell – otherwise, they could have escaped its condemnation – do you see?

So what happens to those who receive greater condemnation? They’ll have to face the greater consequences of their culpability, just as a criminal with a more severe offense serves a greater sentence.

Here’s an example the Lord gave:

“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the powerful acts which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes! But I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you” (Matthew 11:21-22 MKJV).

All will be humbled and corrected by God’s judgment, because turned from their sins and repentant. “Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low, and the crooked shall be straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth. And all flesh shall see the salvation of God” (Luke 3:5-6).

These aren’t just our thoughts – they’re the Word of God, which is all that matters.

Meandering Without the Shepherd
From: Jim To: The Path of Truth Sent: Sunday, December 20, 2015 8:39 PM Subject: On Church Attendance I came across your website this evening and I am intrigued.  I haven’t read all that I want to read as yet, but, I will meander through it.  I read your article regarding salvation.  I scanned the “false doctrines” articles.  Here’s my question.  I do not attend church regularly.  It is in my heart to do that so as to not avoid gathering with other like minded believers.  Unfortunately every church in my area either teaches eternal torment for the unbelieving or the church is liberal and accepts just about anything as doctrine.  I’m not looking for advice, but I would like your opinion.  Thank you, Jim  From: Victor Hafichuk To: Jim Sent: Friday, January 01, 2016 1:58 PM Subject: Re: On Church Attendance Hi Jim,  Do sheep select their own pastures, food, and companions, or do their shepherds guide and manage them? If Jesus Christ is your Shepherd, then you can be certain He is leading you where you need to be, step by step, everything in its place and time. “God sets the solitary in families: He brings out those which are bound with chains…”  But if you’re doing your own thing in His Name, then “the rebellious dwell in a dry land” (Psalms 68:6 KJV). A Foolish Intellectual Teaches Satan and Evil’s Purpose
From: Leslie To: The Path of Truth Sent: Tuesday, March 08, 2016 6:01 PM Subject: I like your thinking out of the box. In regards to good and evil, yes its true that God has provided both good and evil. But in understanding how this works we need to understand the omniscient nature of God. Logic would say that 1 Peter 1:20 prepares Christ as redeemer prior to the establishment of Adam and Eve , hence God new that there free choice would be to do evil. BUT just because God has the power to see into the future does not mean that He uses this in every  situation. He is our father who respectfully gives us the privacy of choice and only intervenes when we are at our most critical stage of sinning. For example, God could read the hearts of those of Sodom YET, agreed with Abraham that should there be a few good hearts the city would be spared.Q; What would be the point if God new all were evil?  Another point; When God created the spirit creatures known as gods or angels,  ( Proverbs 8 21-32 ) they evolved ( not made ) through many dispensations of choosing right from wrong .Then eventually chose to do right. This process may have taken one million years having been procured by more than one pair of Gods creatures. But to God time it is irrelevant.  Satan was one of many who went through this evolutionary process BUT decided to choose wrong and take a third of the angels with him. This was before Adam and Eve who were to be influenced by one of these fallen angels...
