Subject: origin of pagan holidays..
Paul,
Hey, I am a friend of Ronnie Tanners….He and I have been revealed the same Jesus.
Can you tell me more about the different pagan origin and such of the below that I found on y’alls web site. ….
“We believe that the so-called holy days or “holidays” of Christmas and Easter have nothing to do with Christ, nor God, nor the Scriptures, nor the will of God for us. They are, as a matter of record, of pagan origin, and as such, we do not participate in them because He has commanded us to not do so (Jeremiah 10).”
Thanks!
Michael

Hi Michael,
You ask about the pagan origin of Christmas and Easter. You’re welcome to read the following articles on our site:
Christmas
That Devilish Spirit of Christmas
Easter
We came to the truth about these so-called “holy-days” firstly by being led and taught of the Lord Jesus Christ. Although we touch on the historical record, it’s primarily by His revelation that we expose the ungodly source of these manmade observances. Other materials available on the net give more details on the historical background.
As you’ll find in our writings, the Scriptures lend absolutely no support or justification for the keeping of Christmas or Easter. Doesn’t that say it all?
After you read the articles with associated links, let us know if you have any specific questions or how we may help you further.
