Do Not Trust Your Feelings
English - Spanish From: Tonya To: Paul Cohen Sent: Saturday, January 23, 2016 12:27 AM Subject: Hi can I get your advice?  Hi, my name Is Tonya, im 35 years old and I grew up not knowing God in a house of 6 kids and my dad was divorced and me and my 2 brothers were with him as he met a gf with 3 kids and they were together 13 years. They both stayed together very unhappy but for us kids. Towards the end they both at the same time, met other ppl online and split up and for the last 15 years are both very happy now. I feel this has played a role in my life as im in the same situation as well as my other brothers and sister that are in relationships. It's sad how that happens and I do not want this for my kids.  I met my husband at 19 years old, neither of us knew God. We ended up getting married 2 years later and I had our first son right before we got married. He joined the military for 4 years. We have 3 kids and have been together 16 years now married for 14.   We have had many problems over these years beginning after our first child was born.  They got worse and he did some things while being over seas and he then got into game addiction. He has always played games since the beginning but they got worse. He recently just spent over 2000 in 2 months on his game he plays non stop. It's very bad and has taken his life and has caused us to split up many times. I would say something and it lead to a fight then he would always pack and leave us till I begged him back. ...
Todd White’s Self-Generated, UnGodly Love
From: Kaleb To: The Path of Truth Sent: Tuesday, September 20, 2016 6:37 PM Subject: Judging Matthew 7:1-3, 16 1 Samuel 16:7 1 John 4:1-3 2 John 1:7 Just because a man asks for money, heals in an unconventional way, loves people unconditionally, or is loved by others does not make him a false prophet. Wigglesworth, White, and Johnson all preach the gospel and admit Jesus came in the flesh. I've also met Todd White personally. He gets persecuted all the time. His goal is that we all love each other, doesn't mean it happens. Luke 9:50 "Do not stop him" Jesus said "Whoever is not against you is for you." I love you and I pray God heals your heart from any pain caused to you and renews you wholly. From: Paul Cohen and Victor Hafichuk To: Kaleb Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2016 7:05 AM Subject: Re: Judging Kaleb, the Scriptures you cite declare exactly the point you’re missing. For example: “But the LORD said to Samuel, ‘Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart’” (1 Samuel 16:7 ESV). You’re judging Todd White by appearance – not his physical appearance, but according to what you see of his works and love. You’re not seeing the heart. Yes, Todd has love, but not the love of God from a pure heart. It’s a self-generated love, also known as False Love - Satan’s Last Stronghold. You also quote: 1 John 4:1-3 ESV ...
Religious Cartoons for Kids Are Evil, Too
Religious Cartoons Are Evil for Kids, Too From: Sara To: The Path of Truth Sent: Saturday, October 08, 2016 12:27 PM Subject: Question on 2nd Commandment Hi Paul and Victor, I have been perusing your site- I found it while on a search to confirm what I was feeling about nativities and thank you for confirming that :). I have been thinking about all of this a lot. Having been raised Catholic but converting to Protestant when I was sixteen I still have many "traditions" that need to be undone.   My current question is this- I have many children's bibles for my 2 kids. I am finding all of them have drawings (cartoonish ones) of Jesus when the story mentions Jesus. One called "Jesus Calling" (given my my brother's family) even has a section after the story where "Jesus" talks about what was just read. I find that to be an abomination and have been torn on getting rid of it or marking through that section with a permanent marker because I think it does a good job telling the stories on a level the kids can understand (mine are 3 and 1). What are your thoughts? My other question is probably obvious. Are the depictions of Jesus in the children's bibles graven images?  If so how do I go about teaching the stories from the bible in a way they can understand- should I just use mine and then try my best to explain what it is saying in terms they understand? Thank you in advance!! Best, Sara From: Paul Cohen and Victor Hafichuk To: Sara Sent: Wednesday, O...
