The Superstition of Hebrew Names in Exorcisms

Subject: The Authority given in the Fathers Name.

Hello,

You ask the question in your heart if the name matters. I can testify to you that if you are willing to test the truth it will be revealed to you.   Luke 10:19   And those seventy whom he had sent returned with great joy and they were saying to him, “Our Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name.”

In whose Name do the demons flee? In which Name has been given the power and Authority over unclean spirits?  Do you know? Have you seen? Would you be able to recognize and see for yourselves the real Power in the name of our Master Yahshua as the demons are cast out ONLY in that name?  Test the Truth. Cry out to Jesus Christ and then cry out to Yahshua the Messiah for deliverance in a demon possessed soul, and see Which spirit will answer your pleas.  Then the answer will be delivered to you in faith as a witness to the spoken word of YAH.

1 Kings 18:24 And call you on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the YAH: YHWH and the God that answers by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.

Deuteronomy 4:24 For the YHWH your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

What need is there for your test, Collete? By the power of God, we have cast out devils by the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. But the very notion of your test is wicked. You treat the Name of God as a magical incantation, bestowing power on whoever uses it. How darkened, superstitious, and arrogant of you! The power isn’t in using a Name – the power is in those who bear the Lord’s Name within by the faith that is in Him. From Acts 19:

11 God worked special miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were carried away from his body to the sick, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out. 13 But some of the itinerant Jews, exorcists, took on themselves to invoke over those who had the evil spirits the name of the Lord Yeshua, saying, “We adjure you by Yeshua Whom Paul preaches.” 14 There were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did this.

15 The evil spirit answered, “Yeshua I know, and Paul I know, but who are you?” 16 The man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17 This became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, who lived at Ephesus. Fear fell on them all, and the Name of the Lord Yeshua was magnified.

The Name being magnified is the Lord Himself, His Holy and Righteous Nature, not a literal name, which has no power without Him. You aren’t worshipping the One Whose Name we’ve called on according to His Will, the Lord Jesus Christ – Yeshua HaMashiach. You’re doing your own thing using His Name, which makes you a witch. Will you now show us your stubbornness by shutting your ears?

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idol-worship” (1 Samuel 15:23 MKJV).

You haven’t cast out any devils using the name “Yahshua,” because you aren’t calling on the Resurrected Lord and Savior of All Men. You’re calling on the name of your false god, deceived by using the original language and teaching others to trust in the flesh.

And you aren’t even saying His Name right – there’s no such name as “Yahshua” in Hebrew – it’s “Yehoshua” or “Yeshua.” By your own standards you’ve failed and are exposed as a hypocrite.

The saints know that perfection doesn’t come by the flesh or the letter, the outward form. That’s the domain of self-righteous religion. Perfection comes by God’s Spirit through faith. You don’t know or have the Lord, Collete – indeed, you’ve come against Him. Repent, or continue on the road of destruction, proceeding to ruin.

Your blatant self righteousness equates to nothing more than that of a modern day pharisee. Second: I do not need to defend, yet that is what this may be. You sit in Your office dreaming of finding errors and yet as an example have NEVER built a University or had thousands upon thousands in a single tent meeting, that is FRUIT!. O, please You can't handle the truth. We Need More than the Law to Have God
From: Zettie To: The Path of Truth Sent: Wednesday, June 22, 2016 7:42 PM Subject: In order to have the gift of the Spirit one has to have the Holy Spirit. ..In order to have the Holy Spirit you have to have a love for God's Ten Commandments.  John14:16  I find with most churches there two commandments that have been replaced.  The 1st commandment and the fourth commandment.   1st commandment , we shouldn't make a man-made god, we have (the guy on portraits around the world we teach he is Jesus). Fourth commandment remember the Sabbath to keep it holy, the seventh day.  It was instituted before sin came in the world. Genesis 2:2. When Jesus redeemed us He rested on theSabbath and rose on the first day  It is a sovereign law. James2:10. Hi Zettie,  We partially agree with you, with certain qualifications of details. Perhaps you know that already because you’ve been reading our site?  We need more than obedience to the Ten Commandments. We also need to love and obey the Lord by keeping His Personal Commandments to us. That’s the only way we can be truly saved.
