Self-Righteousness Leading to Negativity Against Others

There is a lot of drama in the local church. I dont find too many serious enough to leave religion or politics to follow Christ. I’ve been doing ministry for almost 11 years now. I still do my own bible study.

Some preachers frown and look down on me for not being a church member. I do what I can right caring for an elderly widow. That’s a 365 day , 7 days a week job.

A local preacher and his church have been friendly and helpful. Yet I don’t agree entirely with how the local church pastor keeps preaching ecclesiastical yet still remains in a physical church.

I’ve done some blogs and shared some truth and it helped some. Seems like this church craze is an obsession for some tied to a physical place for weekly Sunday worship.

I been visiting a website truth central.info , it is interesting what this guy teaches. Politics controls many local churches. I came out from among them a long time ago.

Local college professors are way off base calling Christianity a creed.

I keep asking God to help me to focus on Him and not give in to pressures of local denominations. Baptists, Catholics and Jehovah witnesses control a lot of speech here.

Matt, your faith is not centered in God but in the power of men. You come off sounding like the Pharisee in Jesus’ parable (I’ve made adjustments here to help you get the picture):

Luke 18:10-14 MKJV

(10)  Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a non-denominationalist, and the other a denominationalist.
(11)  The non-denominationalist stood and prayed within himself in this way: God, I thank You that I am not as other men are, religious, sectarian, political, unserious and carnal, even like this denominationalist.
(12)  I sponsor my own Bible study, minister to a widow, and resist the pressures of these religious to join the church craze.
(13)  And standing afar off, the denominationalist would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but struck on his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner!
(14)  I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself shall be abased, and he who humbles himself shall be exalted.

You’re focusing on men and their churches because you’re walking in your own righteousness. That’s why you compare others negatively to yourself according to your knowledge and works. Not good, Matt, not good enough at all for the Lord Jesus Christ. You need to get plugged into Him to get out of the negativity about others. Read How One Is Saved.

If one believes, he truly won’t be obsessed with what men do. He will know all that matters is what the Lord does, Who decides everything happening in Heaven and on earth. He is Lord of all.

Do I Need a Water Baptism?
From: Angela To: The Path of Truth Sent: Saturday, January 09, 2016 7:59 AM Subject: FalseTeachers Hi I came to faith 6 months ago. I've listened to a lot of teachings, but mostly after some time, I stop listening to them as something in me feels like I'm being deceived ( including quite a few of the people on your list ) . I wanted to ask ( apart from yourselves ) , are there any true teachers out there ? Any views on Peter Michael Martinez ? Its only since coming to faith that I realize how much deception is out there. My other major concern is water baptism. Do I need a water baptism ? How can I when the churches that I've attended ( and left ) are preaching false words. I do not want to be baptized by someone who is not true. Any advice would be greatly welcomed. Blessings,  Angie From: Paul Cohen To: Angela Cc: Victor Hafichuk Sent: Saturday, January 16, 2016 7:26 AM Subject: Re: False Teachers Hi Angela,  You ask about water baptism. Check over our site carefully for content, because you missed this section: Water Baptism. (The Site Map gives you an overview of everything listed at The Path of Truth.) We don’t know anything about Peter Michael Martinez, but just looking at http://unitedforawakening.com/ and the introduction he gives about himself, we can tell you he’s false. “Peter Michael Martinez is a nationally recognized apostolic voice for Awakening. The Contradiction of Respecting Beliefs
From: Priscilla To: Victor Hafichuk Sent: Wednesday, April 06, 2016 7:30 AM Subject: Chances are, you don't know who Lucifer really is. If you don’t already know, Lucifer is our true lord and savior. Do you believe me? Let me prove it to you, with my book Hallowed Be Thy Name: Lucifer, Origins & Revelation, which I dare claim is “the most blasphemous and crucial theological disclosure of the past two thousand years.” Learn about the gods of Mesopotamian mythology et al. and their relevance to the Abrahamic deities, focusing on the mystery of Lucifer. I disprove many widely cherished beliefs: Lucifer is our creator, God is evil, Hell does not exist, Satan is the Holy Spirit, the gods are not cosmic beings, etc. Naturally, this will be of interest to all you Satanists and Luciferians. Christians, Jews and Muslims will also take great interest since it is, of course, primarily about your deities. It will bring pagans and polytheists closer to the roots of their faiths as well. Atheists will enjoy it because it gives them a much more compelling and effective argument than what they already have.  Don’t just take my word for it, get a copy and see for yourself!  Priscilla For more, visit http://www.beautifulnightmarestudios.com/ ORDER NOW: http://www.amazon.com/Hallowed-Be-Thy-Name-Revelation/dp/0692609334/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1454454358&sr=8-1&keywords=priscilla+vogelbacher From: Victor Hafichuk To: Priscilla Cc: Paul Cohen Sent: F...
A Joseph Hedgecock Follower Defends Selling the Gospel
Subject: Servants of the Lord ministries Date: 11/28/2015 7:02 am From: Bert To: The Path of Truth Hello Victor, Paul, Sara and Edwin, To my surprise and by coincident I read you have Joseph Hedgecock and Servants of the Lord Ministries on your list of false teachers/organisations. I read the part where a woman said she got hurt by listening to Joseph and when you ask her to explain more in detail she refused to go into your question. It sounded for me like there was something wrong in the way she presented here accusation. Many did not follow the Lord Jesus because they found His words hard and exactly that is what is happening today. It is even a warning for the end times that people will not endure sound doctrine. Then Victor use words as “these things don’t ring true, because….. How do you discern this, if you do it out of your reasoning and understanding you will be deceived, only by the Holy Spirit one can come to truth. Only the right divided Word of God, that what the Lord meant by it, is the truth. Not what believers make of it by reading it and try to explain it. I can clearly read in the comments of Paul Cohen that he did not read the books of Joseph but somehow give his own opinion on it, for example that the cross is not applied. Without the cross it is not possible to enter into the Kingdom of God now, that is at this right moment. More practical teaching than S.O.L.M. you will not find, it is a daily taking up your cross. He also m...
