Offended at Consultation

Yes Victor, you can certainly site scripture and verse.

As Christianity is not a Christ derived nor Christ invented word, it simply denotes followers of Christ.

Is it your view or belief that man can nothing of himself ?  There seems to be two opposing concepts

within the framework of so called Christianity. One being the helpless victim, always  “WAITING” on God to instruct, give direction, reveal His will, don’t move unless I tell you to, God, and the other a liberated responsible get busy and do good things cause I won’t do for you what you can do for yourself kind of God.  Which one do you serve?

“Greater things shall you do…” because you are also great as God resides in you so you have the will of God within you already. The other is an external out there over there somewhere God that runs the show and pulls the strings, and you are just a puppet.

If God is going to run the entire show hands on then what exactly does He really need us for?

We’re just a handicap to Him. If He is a hands off kind of God, which the shape the world is in would certainly suggest, then aren’t we to BE the miracle rather than helplessly wait for God to SHOW us one?

Is helplessness somehow a Godly virtue in your mind ?  Hired hands in the Kingdom.

Love to hear YOU’RE take on this concept. Please don’t just cite a whole lotta scripture. I would be more interested in what YOU have to say regarding these questions, not what you think God said about this.

Put this in YOUR OWN WORDS please.

Thanks Victor

In reply to your letter below, Paul says: Who is in charge – God or man? Wayne has fallen for the Devil’s dichotomy. Because God is in charge, does that mean man has nothing to do under His sovereignty?

Thanks for your reply Victor.

It confirmed my suspicions.

Wayne, you seem offended. I don’t share your correspondence with Paul to your detriment but for your benefit. We’re in consultation for you, not against, as with most people with whom we have to do; nothing new. Know that.

Did you intend to offend me Victor ?  None taken irregardless.

What or who you share whatever with is up to you. That said I am only disappointed, not offended.

There is a pervasive, can’t speak these days that has infected man. If they can’t read it, quote it, repeat it, or text it, it just isn’t there it seems. Case in point, for many years the Jehovah’s Witnesses visited me faithfully. Great people with a real desire and dedication to do what they see important to do.

Sadly it’s frustrating to try to have a conversation with a book. When asked a question, any question, it’s always a verse here and a verse there, but no man to man dialogue. The art of conversation is lost it often seemed. Once started they simply acted like a wind up toy or a doll with a pull string. The elevator simply couldn’t stop till the door opened. I’m not sure what the point of asking a question is if you just get a book read answer. I can read to, so what do I need you for in the conversation?

If I ask for you’re opinion in your own words, then quoting another, even God, is not your own opinion or words, even though your opinion may be derived from God’s own words. I strive to give people the credit that God would want me to, although I am sometimes disappointed by the result of doing so.

If I asked you to pass the butter, the ketchup is a poor substitute. It has been my experience that some self professed bible scholars are like trying to hold on to a slippery fish. Just when you think you might land an answer, they slip away in avoidance. Evasive you often are, but I still thought you capable of answering a question in the manner it was asked. Not offended, just disappointed. Keep it up though and you would make lovely politician someday.

Hi Wayne,

At no time have I had any intention of offending you. Like I said, our appointment and intention is to do good to all by God’s grace.

You should know better than to presume I can’t speak for myself or accuse me of such, albeit I am the Lord Jesus Christ’s servant (“bond slave,” if you will) and as such, am at one with Him to speak for Him.

You need only review all the correspondence you and I have had. It seems you haven’t paid much attention or have gravely misunderstood it (I know you haven’t understood).

If you happen to have discarded everything I’ve written you, I have the files if you’re interested. Honestly reviewing them, you’ll have to shed your “disappointment” and admit you’re wrong.

Victor

This is a good thing, but only to the saints, those not given to worshipping mammon. It’s a development that participates in fulfilling God’s will according to the Scriptures:

Revelation 17:15-18 LITV
(15)  And he says to me, The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples and crowds and nations and tongues.
(16)  And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, and will make her desolated and naked. And they will eat her flesh, and will burn her down with fire.
(17)  For God gave into their hearts to do His mind, and to act in one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the Words of God shall be fulfilled.
(18)  And the woman whom you saw is the great city, having a kingdom over the kings of the earth.

Not a membership to a formal religious structure or license is needed to speak and to walk in the truth. These groups have signed up for the Devil’s benefits of tax exemption in God’s Name and now they complain when he requires they pay the piper? No, he will have his dues to be paid in full; he always does, and has every right to do so, until people learn they need to follow and believe in God and not man.
