Subject: I have a question
Hello dear brothers,
I have been reading your website, as I stumbled upon it while trying to look for false prophets. I first want to say thank you for the work you put into it and how much time you dedicate to do all this. I just have one question, that has me rather desperate: what teacher is actually to trust nowadays? See, I’m a born again Christian for almost four years now and I only rely on the Bible and what it teaches, still I sometimes like to watch youtube videos for new insights and maybe guidance etc. I never fully followed them or “worshipped” the teachers if you know what I mean (some people actually do that, I saw people freak out totally listening to some Mega Church Pastors) as I have been able to identify false prophets with the help of our Lord Jesus Christ (praise God) and also your website, especially people that actually use Christ to advertise for themselves, which has me all… you know… being mad and stuff, because I detest such selfish behaviour and may God forgive them for their sins. But now I’m sort of like…. “OK, where are the ones I can actually believe and listen to?”
Do you happen to know any ministries or teachers that actually teach what the Bible tells us?
I would be very happy to receive any information on this. I am so tired of living in this world full of lies.
Thank you very much in advance and be blessed,

You ask: “Do you happen to know any ministries or teachers that actually teach what the Bible tells us?”
Yes, and here you are at the Lord’s website, full of grace and truth.
Here Is the Way It Is
Your search reminds me of the Lord’s saying:
“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls; who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it” (Matthew 13:45-46 MKJV).
The only Teacher to follow is the Lord Jesus Christ. And if this website has guided you by the truth He has given us for your sake, why look elsewhere? The only reason would be that it’s not the Lord and His truth you’re looking for after all.

We are beginning a new Bible Study this Fall…except it isn’t from the Bible. It is based on a book by Joyce Meyer, Battlefield of the Mind. My concern is: 1) Even though a man is teaching the class, he is using a book written by a woman (whom I believe to be not walking as she should). Doesn’t that fall under a woman usurping a man’s authority? And 2) Why would a Bible Study not be from the Word of God? Why do people feel like they need something other than the Word? I really don’t want to “start” something and I don’t know who to ask. I have questions about our Elders being qualified to serve so I’m at a loss. I look forward to your advice. And also about God calling me rather than me saying that I'll come to God. I have issues with lust, porn, drugs, and no matter how hard I try I can not overcome in my own strength.
