Thanks For Article about White Lie – Lie Approved by God.
I myself agree with you
Even since the creation of man God Lie to Adam
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
And serpent say truth for evil
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Hi Jasen,
God didn’t lie to Adam. When God said that Adam would die in the day that Adam ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, God was right. Adam did die; his death is described here:
Genesis 3:7-19 ESV
(7) Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.
(8) And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.
(9) But the LORD God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?”
(10) And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.”
(11) He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?”
(12) The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.”
(13) Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
(14) The LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.
(15) I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
(16) To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”|
(17) And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
(18) thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field.
(19) By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”
And the death of sin that Adam experienced came on all of mankind. Jesus Christ came to deliver us from this death:
“But death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is the type of Him [the Lord Jesus Christ] Who was to come” (Romans 5:14 MKJV).
Ephesians 2:1-5 MKJV
(1) And He [Christ] has made you alive, who were once dead in trespasses and sins,
(2) in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience;
(3) among whom we also had our way of life in times past, in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
(4) But God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love with which He loved us
(5) (even when we were dead in sins) has made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are saved),
“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses” (Colossians 2:13 MKJV).
To believe that God would lie to Adam means you are dead as a result of believing the lie from the serpent. The Scriptures, which are a true testimony, declare of God:
Titus 1:1-3 MKJV
(1) Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ (according to the faith of God’s elect, in the acknowledging of the truth which is according to godliness
(2) on hope of eternal life, which God, Who cannot lie, promised before the eternal times,
(3) but revealed His Word in its own times in a proclamation, with which I was entrusted by the command of God our Savior,)
But you can be delivered as were we from death and hell by the One Who holds the keys to both:
Revelation 1:17-18 MKJV
(17) And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying to me, Do not fear, I am the First and the Last,
(18) and the Living One, and I became dead, and behold, I am alive for ever and ever, Amen. And I have the keys of hell and of death.
Does this help? Let us know if you have any questions.
