Knowing You Know Nothing Is the Start
From: Sean To: The Path of Truth Sent: Thursday, August 04, 2016 10:49 PM Subject: Confused... Hi Victor and Paul, Whatever I thought I knew, I now know wasn’t anything worth knowing.   The false teacher section was heartbreaking yet somehow satisfying/freeing. I’m astounded at the number of false teachers. Which leads me to my confusion…is there a good church who has a true teacher who doesn’t care about the local sports team and how many laughs he gets?  Is there a true teacher? What about Dan Mohler? I suppose the greatest teacher isn’t a man…its Jesus…its His word.  I need to read my bible. I apologize for the poor grammar…Im a little beside myself after just dipping my toes in to the content of your website.  Please continue as I will continue reading.  Thank you for all of the writing, investigating and time you’ve given to it.  I pray God keeps you well. Respectfully, Sean From: Paul Cohen and Victor Hafichuk To: Sean Sent: Monday, August 08, 2016 7:04 AM Subject: Re: Confused... Greetings in the Lord Jesus Christ, Sean, Who is making precious truth known to you.  “I suppose the greatest teacher isn’t a man…its Jesus…its His word.  I need to read my bible.” Jesus, the Word of God made flesh, is where we begin: “Nor be called teachers, for One is your Teacher, even Christ” (Matthew 23:10 MKJV). And the preachers of the Gospel whom Jesus sends teach what He has recorded for us in the Bible, as in one example of many: Ac...
Speak the Truth Despite Conflict
From: Orion To: The Path of Truth Sent: Tuesday, May 17, 2016 9:01 PM Subject: Friends Friends, I do not wish to embark on an empty quest of conflict between ideologies. I simply wish to hear y'all's reasoning for "exposing false teachers" such as Clayton Jennings. I'm a 19 year old kid who is on a journey to spread the word of God and the love that Jesus Christ tells us to spread. My beliefs may be premature, but I ask that you respect my stance as I will respect yours. From: Victor Hafichuk To: Orion Sent: Sunday, May 22, 2016 6:50 AM Subject: Re: Friends Orion, someone asked us about Clayton Jennings and we told them (and him) the truth about his presumed ministry.  “These are the things that you shall do: speak every man the truth with his neighbor. Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates” (Zechariah 8:16 WEB). It’s that simple. The Lord Jesus Christ has given us His light to shine in darkness. As the apostle Paul wrote about those whom the Lord appoints to ministry:  “He must hold firm to the trustworthy Word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it” (Titus 1:9 ESV). Jude also informs us of the wonderful Day that has arrived: “It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His holy ones, to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodline...
Meandering Without the Shepherd
From: Jim To: The Path of Truth Sent: Sunday, December 20, 2015 8:39 PM Subject: On Church Attendance I came across your website this evening and I am intrigued.  I haven’t read all that I want to read as yet, but, I will meander through it.  I read your article regarding salvation.  I scanned the “false doctrines” articles.  Here’s my question.  I do not attend church regularly.  It is in my heart to do that so as to not avoid gathering with other like minded believers.  Unfortunately every church in my area either teaches eternal torment for the unbelieving or the church is liberal and accepts just about anything as doctrine.  I’m not looking for advice, but I would like your opinion.  Thank you, Jim  From: Victor Hafichuk To: Jim Sent: Friday, January 01, 2016 1:58 PM Subject: Re: On Church Attendance Hi Jim,  Do sheep select their own pastures, food, and companions, or do their shepherds guide and manage them? If Jesus Christ is your Shepherd, then you can be certain He is leading you where you need to be, step by step, everything in its place and time. “God sets the solitary in families: He brings out those which are bound with chains…”  But if you’re doing your own thing in His Name, then “the rebellious dwell in a dry land” (Psalms 68:6 KJV). Even though that land is populated by many and apparently prosperous.  “Righteous are You, O LORD, when I complain to You; yet I would plead my case before You. Why does the way of the wi...
