Wives Don’t Take Over Their Husband’s Ministries

Paul,

I was wondering what made you say that Geri was assuming the role as a lead pastor of a church? And being an authority over them?

Also we are able to cast off demons and cast out the scripture tells us that we are.  And we can rebuke Satan in Jesus name and say get behind us as we can do all things through Christ and he said all that he did even greater things we shall do.

I am not sure I agree with your interpretation and judgement of Geri.  You may be assuming things incorrectly about her, and also misinterpreting the scriptures in the areas you condemned her for.

We are called to be ministers of God and to tell everyone, that doesn’t mean she is a lead pastor of a church, but she does show obedience of sharing truth and experience in her walk with God and the wisdom she gained.  She does believe and use the gifts of the spirit and stand on Gods truth when he said we would do greater things than he and if we have faith we can move mountains and we also can cast out demons.

So I am not sure I agree with your rash judgement of her.

Jen

Jen, you ask:

I was wondering what made you say that Geri was assuming the role as a lead pastor of a church? And being an authority over them?

Did you not read the article and the quote from Geri’s website?

Abiding Life Ministries was founded in 1978 by Bob McGhee, the late husband of Geri McGhee. It presently consists of a volunteer staff and secretary, and various churches and ministries who partner with Abiding Life to host seminars and conferences across the United States. Geri McGhee travels with her team and singly, teaching “Overcoming Life’s Obstacles Seminars,” in churches and conferences across the globe as God permits.

Abiding Life Ministries’ vision is to be one of God’s instruments to heal, deliver, train, and disciple leaders through teaching principles of the “overcoming life”. It is our prayer that these disciples are equipped to carry out Christ’s ministry here on earth for the building up of the Body.

Do you believe Peter’s wife took over his ministry and apostleship after Peter was martyred? Not that we can compare Bob McGhee to Peter, because Bob had nothing to do with the Lord Jesus Christ. “Abiding Life Ministries” is altogether fraudulent, whether Bob or his wife leads it.

You end your letter by saying of Geri and us:

So I am not sure I agree with your rash judgement of her.

Is not “rash” the perfect word to describe your judgment of us?

Paul

Todd White’s Self-Generated, UnGodly Love

Wigglesworth, White, and Johnson all preach the gospel and admit Jesus came in the flesh. I've also met Todd White personally. He gets persecuted all the time. His goal is that we all love each other, doesn't mean it happens. Luke 9:50 "Do not stop him" Jesus said "Whoever is not against you is for you." I love you and I pray God heals your heart from any pain caused to you and renews you wholly. From: Paul Cohen and Victor Hafichuk To: Kaleb Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2016 7:05 AM Subject: Re: Judging Kaleb, the Scriptures you cite declare exactly the point you’re missing. For example: “But the LORD said to Samuel, ‘Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart’” (1 Samuel 16:7 ESV). You’re judging Todd White by appearance – not his physical appearance, but according to what you see of his works and love. You’re not seeing the heart. Yes, Todd has love, but not the love of God from a pure heart. It’s a self-generated love, also known as False Love - Satan’s Last Stronghold. You also quote: 1 John 4:1-3 ESV ...

Disregard Voices Saying God Rejects You
From: Alexander To: The Path of Truth Sent: Monday, August 29, 2016 12:51 PM Subject: How to tell if Jesus restores you Paul and Victor, My name is Alex. I just turned 25 last week. I live in Chicago. Growing up I went to a large non-denominational church in the suburbs. Big light show, positive message, preaching "basic salvation" of accept Jesus into your heart. You probably know the type. Anyways I went to this church growing up, got baptized at 10 (mostly to be able to eat the crackers with the adults in service) and went to church camp and some short mission trips in Jr. High and High School. Didn't have much in the way of a relationship with God or Jesus. The Holy Spirit was an abstract concept to me, and not a real person. I believed in the sense that I really didn't have a good reason not to, because everyone around me, my family and friends and church community believed. So I didn't have srong convictions about it. Didn't really pray or read the bible. Pretty much jumped into trouble as soon as I could in high school by drinking and smoking and chasing girls, and was mean to my sisters and my parents since puberty and a jerk to a lot of my peer group - basically I never really ever tried to obey Jesus's commands. But I had enough of a fear of Hell not to totally blaspheme. As I got later into high school, ages 16-17, I was starting to doubt the whole thing. Stuck somewhere between not really willing to believe it with my whole heart and soul but no...
