In 2016 a woman from Holland, Sabine Smit, came to Victor confessing faith in the Lord and agreement with his calling and doctrine.
She began communicating about her life, bringing offerings, and generally being in touch with us over the years. Sabine had been steeped in an occult mindset and lifestyle. None of this was held against her. Sabine was given counsel in all areas of her life, and things began to improve for her. After 7 years of contact, she said this publicly:
In 2023, a man named Jason Lee returned to The Path of Truth after years of being absent. He had made a mess of himself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Jason had been offered help and direction– most of which he ignored. During this time Sabine contacted Jason privately. She began giving him counsel in both physical and spiritual matters.
In October 2023, Jason communicated with us that he had developed a connection with Sabine. Sabine later sent us a vision she had received that seemed to indicate a decision being made regarding a marriage with Jason.
This was taken to the Lord in prayer, and Victor communicated with both Jason and Sabine. In the end it was determined that the whole event came about to expose Jason for who he was, and to warn Sabine of her waywardness and self-delusion. The full account can be found here.
Fast forward to January 2025. Jason was no longer on the scene as far as we knew. Sabine was still around, and in touch somewhat regularly.
Sabine had recently met with two other believers in Holland – Lynn Farris had traveled there on business, and Thierry Bwuzure came from Belgium to meet them both.
Following their visit, Sabine wrote to Victor to express her complaints with Lynn. Lynn was later included and shared her side of things. It was determined that Sabine was only there to find fault instead of considering others. She was in selfishness, not love. It was all about Sabine’s desires and demands.
You can read the full correspondence and outcome here.
On April 26, 2025, we were notified by Joey and Ashley Tezon that Sabine had contacted them, hoping to have a private conversation. We didn’t have a problem with it and told Joey and Ashley they could say to Sabine whatever they decided, or nothing at all.
Joey and Ashley responded to Sabine, but didn’t receive a reply from her. Over the next week Sabine unsubscribed from our newsletter (Jason Lee also unsubscribed around the same time) and began unfriending most of us on Facebook. On May 11, 2025 she sent an email to Victor letting him know that she had “left the cult” and gave her reasons. We shared this email with everyone who we are regularly in touch with and then forwarded their replies to Sabine.
You can read Sabine’s messages and the replies here.
No one who emailed Sabine heard back from her.
We have notified Sabine of this posting. If she desires, she can respond here publicly and address anything that is not accurate, and if we find it to be the case, we’ll be glad to make it right.
We share this account for all to read, learn, and fear. Sabine entirely loved herself – and not The Lord Jesus Christ, or Victor, who the Lord comes by, or anyone else, as she boldly professed. She didn’t believe.
