Hello again I had to laugh at my own question about being Jewish after I read your response. I just wanted to know if that website was Christian based or Jewish based I suppose. I’m just learning the bible I’ve never been to church and only went to Sunday school a handful of times. I actually forget why I even emailed you in the first place but thank you for responding! I would be glad to keep you updated on my path as it has just begun…

Hi N,

You’ve asked a very interesting question. Not having much of a religious background is actually helping, not hindering you, because your mind hasn’t been dulled by indoctrination. You have the advantage of seeing everything fresh, which, if you’re prepared to follow the Truth, will bring you to God and His Kingdom.

Our paper, False Love – The Mark of Cain, answers your question. Read it, and then let us know where you’re at.
While everyone has his or her opinion, that’s not what God’s servants, such as those who wrote the Bible, are given by Him to teach believers. We testify only to what the Lord has taught and given us, which we know by His Spirit.

Therefore we’re both “Christian” and “Jewish,” according to the true meaning of those words. Our doctrine isn’t our own, but is God’s, Who is with us in Jesus Christ, having circumcised our hearts to love and know Him. He (Christ) is what this is all about, N.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ [a real Christian], he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, Who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:17-18 ESV).

“For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that outwardly in flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart; in spirit and not in letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God” (Romans 2:28-29 MKJV).

Yes, we would like to be updated on your spiritual journey, especially if you’re continuing to read on our site in order to be taught of God.

Paul
