False Teacher – John Robbins

How Dare You Question Me and My Doctrines

John, proud director of The Trinity Foundation, asks why he needs to hear the Truth. Can you see why? Blessed are you if you can.

We sent these two letters to John Robbins:

Greetings in the Lord Jesus Christ, John,

I was at your site, www.trinityfoundation.org, and red about your recent bout with cancer, and the complete remission of the disease in your body. That is wonderful news.

The Lord recently gave us to share a teaching about His Laws, His will, His power to heal, and the responsibilities of those who call on His Name. Read this article and consider what He has given us to teach. Some of it is contrary to what you have written. We do not ask that you take our word for it, but consider what we offer from the Scriptures. God has backed up these truths in our lives with personal experiences of His power and His nature. We know Him. See if we do not rightly divide the Scriptures. You are right in many things, yet are missing much more, hampered by a “theology” that is not Reality.

The writing: God Heals Today, His Way

Lord willing, we will communicate further.

Paul Cohen

And:

Hi John,

I was reading on your site about organizing something called the “Reformation Chapel.” The Lord Jesus has given us to delineate what constitutes a man-made work, using His teachings and standards as recorded in the Holy Scriptures. It is not a matter of subjective conclusions arrived at according to the teachings and pet doctrines of whatever group is judging another. Read over and let me know how your work stacks up to the Lord’s standard:

The True Marks of a Cult

John’s reply to the latter note:

Why?

John Robbins
The Trinity Foundation
The Bible alone is the Word of God.

Paul’s reply:

John, does it not dawn on you whatsoever that as you judge your former church affiliates, thinking you know and understand the Bible better than they do, you might also be judged according to the Standard of God, and likewise come up short?

Does it not occur to you that professing yourself a disciple of Christ and teacher of Biblical truth invites not only criticism from religious sectarians, but also correction and instruction from the true brethren of the Lord?

You do not know or consider these things because you are given over to intellectual, ineffectual, man-made religion, which has left you dead and empty, wholly bereft of reality and recognition of the Presence of Christ. Reality is what I am talking to you about, and that is the sum of the writing I have sent you. Reality is your great need. You are rich in your knowledge, but lack the knowledge of God through Jesus Christ. He, and not the Bible, is the Word of God:

“You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life. And they are the ones witnessing of Me, and you will not come to Me that you might have life” (John 5:39-40 MKJV).

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1 KJV).

In your idolatry of the Bible you speak from darkness, in unbelief, making such antiChrist statements as the following (on your site):

However, there are no God-sent prophets and apostles on Earth today. The writing of the New Testament was completed in the first century (not the fourth), and so we have the full and final revelation, to which nothing is to be added; the Son of Man is now seated at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven; and, since there are no God-sent messengers on Earth, there are no present-day divine miracles.

Jesus Christ is alive, John, and is present on Planet Earth! We, His saints, are seated in heavenly places in Him, and He is here with us on earth, ministering truth and life by His Spirit. The testimony of Jesus Christ, which I speak to you at this very moment, is the spirit of prophecy. You are in great error.

Furthermore, you go on to imply that the only miracles possible today are diabolical ones. How darkened and utterly stupid a man can be in his idolatry! You are setting yourself up to blaspheme the Holy Spirit because you would call any true miracles done by those who believe on Him the work of Satan.

While we know that Hinn and Crouch are phonies, we also have seen, firsthand, miracles done by men by the hand of God. Who has given you the authority to deny the works of Jesus Christ, which He declared would be manifested by those who believe on Him?

“And miraculous signs will follow to those believing these things: in My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will be well” (Mark 16:17-18 MKJV).

When you say that the power of the Lord to heal and His ability to communicate through His servants are no longer present, you deny that Jesus Christ comes in the flesh. This is the spirit of antiChrist, John, which you exhibit and in which you walk. Time to get real. You have no right to give your opinions in lieu of His Word. That is why you should read The True Marks of a Cult, and not only read it, but apply the Lord’s Yardstick to yourself. You can stop looking at the specks in your brothers’ eyes.

Contending for the faith of Christ, which does not allow for the accepting of men’s persons.

John’s response:

Paul,

Keep your damned (I speak literally) opinions to yourself.

Paul’s reply:

Now John, is that any way to be honoring your trinity? Being pagan, yes.

“Am I now your enemy, just because I told you the truth?” (Galatians 4:16 CEV)

John’s response:

You can’t handle the truth.

Paul’s reply:

You know that is not true, John. The record tells another story. Is it any wonder you are found speechless, except for trite, hypocritical remarks? So be it; go your way, worship your gods and be destroyed with them.

On September 26, 2008, we received this note from Ray (subject line: “John Robbins”):

Paul you are insane

Paul’s reply:

Ray, I see that Robbins died last month, before his time, at age 59. I note that my last words to him in our January 2007 correspondence were:

So be it; go your way, worship your gods and be destroyed with them.

How is it that you are so foolish as to call the one insane who warned a man to repent of his wickedness, rather than fear God Who destroyed the man in his sins? The answer is that you are a wicked man also slated for destruction.
