Your God Stands For You, Israel

A Letter of Promise, Hope, and Exhortation to the Dispersed and Oppressed Uncircumcised-in-Heart Seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob

We as a small group of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ declare to all throughout the world that we stand with the Jews and with Israel, as they face their implacable enemies who hate and seek to destroy them.

Let us make some things clear: We recognize that we are nothing in and of ourselves. God willing, we could be destroyed by enemies we automatically make by identifying and sympathizing with world Jewry and Israel. There are many who could snuff us out at will, as easily as a cigarette underfoot; we know that. Muslims can come and blow us away at any time, Lord permitting. We have many enemies who would do that to us, if afforded opportunity.

Many of our enemies call themselves Christians. That is because we stand against Christianity as the world knows it; we rebuke and have nothing to do with it. There are Christians who, on several occasions, have suggested we be exterminated as heretics. We have, however, a living, meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ/Yeshua HaMashiach/YHWH the Creator, the One God of both Gentiles and Jews, of believers and unbelievers, of all races and creeds. We know Him personally and are highly privileged and glad to be able to say so.

We recognize that using the Name of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of all men is offensive to most Jews. Jews use the term, “HaShem,” or “G-d,” and believe that Jesus Christ was a mere man, and a deceiver at that. We understand, and though we have no desire to offend or insult Jews or to shove anything down their throats, we reserve the right to perform what we see and know as our duty to refer to our Creator as He has revealed Himself to us.

We understand that in Jesus’ Name, the worst of atrocities have been committed against Jews, Muslims, and all peoples throughout the earth. In His Name, children of darkness have presumed to be His servants. We understand, then, the utter abhorrence by Jews of that Name, seeing It has been identified with terrible crimes committed against Jews throughout these two millennia.

Still, we declare to you Jews in the flesh, chosen of God, that the One we know to be your Messiah is not the one responsible for the evil that has befallen you in His Name, at least not as your enemies, or you, may think. It is true, according to your own prophets, as recorded in the Torah, that He has removed you from your land and dispersed you far and wide. You need only read Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and several others of the prophets, whom God appointed to speak to you and to warn you, which prophets you refused because you refused Him Who sent them. That same God became incarnate in Jesus Christ, so yes, He is responsible for all that is come upon you, according to the words of Deuteronomy 28, for example.

When Jesus Christ came, there were those Jews who received Him and were given life and victory in this world. They spread the Good News by and from that reality of a living relationship with their Creator, their God, the God of Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ephraim, Moses, King David, Eliyah, and all the prophets. They received that life through Messiah Yeshua, Who said by Isaiah that He is the only Savior of mankind and that there is no other beside Him. So impacted were these chosen holy ones, so infused with God’s Spirit, that they willingly gave their lives to bring the Good News to Israel and the world.

As well, when Yeshua came, there were those, particularly of the religious establishment of Israel, who persecuted Him and His Jewish disciples. They finally killed Him and, from there, they continued to persecute and kill His followers wherever they could find them, in Israel and elsewhere.

When the Jews delivered Jesus into the hands of the Romans, the governor Pilate sought to set Him free, saying, “I find no fault in this Man; I would set Him free as is the custom at this time.” But the rulers of the Jews vehemently refused, and stirred up the crowds against Him, crying, “Crucify Him! Crucify Him! His blood be upon us and upon our children!”

Pilate therefore said, “So be it; I wash my hands of this affair; you do what you want with Him.”

And His blood has been upon Jewry and its descendants to this very day.

But bear with me, if you will. Here are more facts that few have known or cared to recognize, which facts will serve to neutralize the murderous hatred the world has for Jews. It was absolutely necessary for Jesus to die, and it was up to the Jews, His own people, to do the job as High Priest for the world, presiding over the One Perfect Sacrifice for not only Jews, but for all mankind.

And Jesus plainly said that no man took His life, but He laid it down of His own free will. It was HIS doing! He also said He could have prevented His death had He chosen to do so, but His death was the predetermined will and counsel of the Almighty.

Does that sound silly or contradictory to the carnal Jewish mind, to any unbeliever’s mind? Of course it does, and I will not presume to explain it to those who cannot understand God’s ways. Still, what I say is true and all those who come to the knowledge of the Most High, of YHWH, of Yeshua HaMashiach, will receive understanding and be overjoyed. Why? Because it is the most wonderful news that can be heard in the earth!

Now let me tell you our desired and purposed position, which will not change, by His grace (by “our,” I mean our tiny flock He has gathered and drawn to Himself). You Jews killed your Messiah, and He, being resurrected from the dead, came to us Gentiles and to Paul Cohen, a Jew who is with us. Your Messiah, Whom to this day you have refused, has revealed Himself to us as the One God (not three as blasphemously reported by the heathen and taught as Christian doctrine – “Hear O Israel, the Lord your God is One Lord”). We stand and speak in Him.

While you began the war against true Christians nearly 2,000 years ago, false Christians and others have since stepped in and turned the war on you, according to the Scriptures, according to the Word of the Lord by His and your prophets, whom you have presumably revered. Throughout history, since His crucifixion, you have been sorely punished.

Now we stand and declare to you, as you read these words with perhaps contempt and even rage, that if you now wish to turn the tables once again and persecute us, your true friends in Jesus Christ, so be it. We would rather that you kill us than that we should hurt you in any way, even mildly, for we have determined to stand with you, as is good in the sight of God, by His strength and inspiration, even if you should choose to be our worst enemies.

Kill us, if you will (Lord willing), but we stand with you. How is that for true friendship? That is the very friendship that your Messiah, Yeshua of Bethlehem, Nazareth, Judah, and Israel extended to you, still purposes for you, and is now about to fulfill for you, partly by us. Just remember, He and His true followers never persecuted you; you persecuted Him and them. It has never been otherwise; those who persecuted Jews were not true Christians.

Does this mean we entertain hopes of appreciation from you? Not in the least! We know full well that many Jews will stand offended and contemptuous of what I say.

Understand that we do not revere you; you hold no special attraction for us in and of yourselves; we are not in awe of you as are so many other silly-souled, ignorant nominal Christians, who presume there to be inherent virtue in Jewish flesh and religious/cultural history. We understand very well what is in all flesh, and it is nothing good, as your prophets have boldly and accurately declared. Still, our word stands – only by the grace of your God and ours, we are your friends to the death, even death at your hands if that must be.

It is not that we stand for Jews; it is not that we stand for Israel or the Israeli flag or the Star of David, which we fly on our property in identification with Israel. No, it is not those things, as much as it may seem. We stand with Yeshua and with Michael and his host, the appointed messenger and the mighty defender of your people, even as Daniel wrote. It is Jesus Christ’s will to now stand and reverse the tide for you, not because of any virtue on your part – there is none, as there is none with any other people. In this day, He has determined to show you mercy and grace for your fathers’ sakes, in spite of yourselves, as He promised long ago by Moses and the prophets.

It is His choice that we stand for what is right. We abhor the stance the world takes against Jews everywhere. We contemn the attitudes of militant Muslims against Jews; we contemn the spirit and attitudes of the Catholic Church and any other religions, nations, or peoples against Jews and Israel. Our stand with you is a stand for justice, for what is right.

While we recognize that all the evils have befallen Jewry with good and just cause under the sovereignty of God, Who made Heaven and earth, He has now changed His Mind of the judgment He has brought upon you, saying, “It is enough.” Your judgment has come to the full. He will now take pity on you and fight your enemies. He has already been doing so, but He will do much more.

There are those who call the Jews of Israel “Khazars,” according to a spurious historical record concocted by a Jew, Arthur Koestler, to escape the wrath and persecution of the world for Jews, I am told, which concoction rightfully made it only worse for Jews. (Just as there was no escape for Jonah from doing God’s bidding, so there is no escape of any kind for anyone chosen of God for his purposed destiny for Jews and Gentiles today.) Anti-Semites justify their hatred and prejudice against Jews by saying they are imposters and not true Jews. We do not believe the silly lie for a moment. Even if Khazars or Ashkenazim are only proselytes to Judaism, God would not exclude them according to Moses:

“And when a stranger shall stay with you, and desires to keep the Passover to Jehovah, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it. And he shall be as one that is born in the land. And no uncircumcised person shall eat of it” (Exodus 12:48 MKJV).

We witness the ungodly and unjust hatred for Jews everywhere and consider there is something important going on. We are also in awe of the marvelous historical developments and events, knowing very well (by God’s grace) that man cannot do what has developed concerning the Jews at any time, perhaps especially in this last century.

But let us assume for a moment that this Khazar thing is true. So what? When I consider the wickedness and contradiction of the deeds perpetrated against this people, be they Jews or Khazars, I say, “To Hell with their haters and persecutors! Let them suffer the fate they purpose on their intended victims. Let those who seek to hurt and to kill be hurt and killed. Let those who would be the head by force be the tail. Let those who take captive be led into captivity. Let those who behead lose their heads. As they curse, so let them be cursed.”

But these people called Jews in Israel and elsewhere are not Khazars. These people are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and as such, are known as Jews, even if they do not descend directly from the tribe of Judah. Their lineage is long and historically evident. My brother Paul is one of them, of the tribe of Levi.

There are gainsayers and faultfinders everywhere, all with their preferred wise-in-their-own-eyes definition of what is a Jew, but we say that there are two kinds of Jews - those who are born again and those who have yet to be, but will be, born again in the fulness of time. We say this out of true knowledge by our Messiah, the only Messiah of both Jews and Gentiles.

First, there are the earthly Jews, those circumcised only in the flesh, who, though forsaken for a time, are not forsaken forever. It is now their time to be gathered in their land, which is what has been gradually happening in the past century. This is according to the Word:

"I say then, Did they not stumble that they fall? Let it not be! But by their slipping away came salvation to the nations, to provoke them to jealousy. But if their slipping away is the riches of the world, and their default is the riches of the nations, how much more their fullness?" (Romans 11:11-12 MKJV)

"For if their casting away means reconciliation for the world, what will their acceptance be, if not life from the dead?" (Romans 11:15 EMTV)

Then there are the spiritual Jews, the seed of Abraham by faith, that are circumcised in the heart through the gift of a new heart, as Jeremiah and Ezekiel prophesied that God would give:

(22) For this cause say to the children of Israel, This is what the Lord has said: I am doing this, not because of you, O children of Israel, but because of My holy Name, which you have made unclean among the nations wherever you went.
(23) And I will make holy My great Name which has been made unclean among the nations, which you have made unclean among them; and it will be clear to the nations that I am the Lord, says the Lord, when I make Myself holy in you before their eyes.
(24) For I will take you out from among the nations, and get you together from all the countries, and take you into your land.
(25) And I will put clean water on you so that you may be clean: from all your unclean ways and from all your images I will make you clean.
(26) And I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you: I will take away the heart of stone from your flesh, and give you a heart of flesh.
(27) And I will put My Spirit in you, causing you to be guided by My rules, and you will keep My orders and do them.
(28) So that you may go on living in the land which I gave to your fathers; and you will be to Me a people, and I will be to you a God.

The apostle Paul, a “fulfilled Jew” (one in the spirit as well as in the flesh), goes on to say of world Jewry, and warning potential presumptuous gainsayers that have benefited by it:

(16) For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, also the branches.
(17) And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and became a sharer of the root and the fatness of the olive tree with them,
(18) do not boast against the branches. But if you boast, it is not you that bears the root, but the root bears you.

Shaul (Paul) goes on to say:

(25) For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, lest you should be wise within yourselves; that blindness in part has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the nations has comes in.
(26) And so all Israel shall be saved; as it is written, "There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
(27) For this is My covenant with them, when I have taken away their sins."

Earthly Jews will become Heavenly, that is, spiritual, Jews - Jews not just circumcised in the flesh but in the heart. They will become the kind of descendants of Abraham that God originally intended:

“For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that outwardly in flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart; in spirit and not in letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God” (Romans 2:28-29 MKJV).

These Jews will love God and neighbor. They will do only good and no evil. Following the earthly spiritual Jews are the Gentiles who become Jews by the circumcision of the heart by faith in the Messiah of Israel (and of the world):

(9) Is this blessedness then on the circumcision only, or on the uncircumcision also? For we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.
(10) How then was it reckoned? Being in circumcision or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
(11) And he received a sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith while still uncircumcised; so that he might be the father of all those believing through uncircumcision, for righteousness to be imputed to them also;
(12) and a father of circumcision to those not of the circumcision only, but also to those walking by the steps of the faith of our father Abraham during uncircumcision.
(13) For the promise that he should be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

God has promised to take away the sins of the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; He will do it, and He is set to do it even now. This has He made known to us, and as spiritual Israelites – Jews – true God-of-Israel Christians and Israel-of-God Christians, as the resurrected-from-the-dead Heavenly Israel, we take our stand with this very earthly Israel of God.

May we be instrumental in fulfilling the apostle Paul’s aching desire, as he expressed it 1,900 years ago concerning his brothers in the flesh:

“I tell the truth in Christ, I do not lie, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, that I have great heaviness and continual pain in my heart. For I myself was wishing to be accursed from Christ for my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh, who are Israelites; to whom belong the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the Law, and the service of God, and the promises; whose are the fathers, and of whom is the Christ according to flesh, He being God over all, blessed forever. Amen” (Romans 9:1-5 MKJV).

There is a group of religious Jews who condemn the Zionist movement and who say that the Torah condemns it. Among them are “Rabbi” Yisroel Dovid Weiss and his religious organization, Neturei Karta. I say the Torah condemns these religious Jews, though God will eventually have mercy on them, too, because presumably they are descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They ask that if their holy God-fearing rabbis do not agree with Zionists, how can the Zionists be right? I say their “God-fearing” rabbis and spiritual leaders are a brood of serpents, having nothing whatsoever to do with God, and therefore do not know the Scriptures as they presume.

They say that the Zionists are atheists, unbelievers, while the rabbis are devout religious people of faith, therefore Zionists must be wrong and the religious right. Yet the prophets of the Torah declare that God shall bring His people back to their land in the last days in unbelief, which means as “atheists,” and not devout, pious Jews. Furthermore, the prophets declare that God will give them faith after they return, and not before. The prophets therefore themselves declare that these religious frauds are the liars and scoundrels, and not the Zionists (If these naysayers are in Israel, they are manifestly part of the people brought back in unbelief. Their sin, however, is that they say they believe when they don’t, and they think they are better than others when they aren’t.)

Furthermore, Zionists fight for the freedom and well being of all Jews in Israel, including those "ultra-orthodox" in Meir She’arim, while these pious fakes take and demand rights, paying nothing for them. Leeches and traitors to all Jewry they are; whether ignorantly or by design, it does not much matter in terms of consequences for all Jews. Do leeches know they suck blood, or do they simply do what comes naturally? In either case, blood is sucked.

But is this not also unbelief? Surely! Then who can say that these are not included in God’s design? God will save all, not according to their righteousness, even as He promised the fathers.

Notice, the Jewish people are being gathered from all the earth back to the land of their fathers, which gathering is in this generation. Notice it is not to New York or Uganda or Argentina or some peaceful place on earth, but to the original land of Israel, the very land promised to Abraham four thousand years ago, smack dab in the middle of their rabid enemies!

Let it be known that if they are Zionists or Khazars or Jews or Israelites, we do not care. We see that only God could do what is being done here, and we stand with Him. To think that such a small people, so weak, so hated and falsely maligned, so scattered, and so viciously persecuted, could be gathered as they are now gathered, one must realize that only God could do it. This is no mere machination of presumptuous Zionists. As it is written:

“A man's heart plans his course, but the LORD directs his steps” (Proverbs 16:9 HNV).

We stand for justice. We see the great contradiction of the world. Europe delivered six million Jews up to death. Those Jews were, for the most part, peaceable, productive, and beneficial to Europe. They built, invented, healed, gave, and prospered themselves, Europe, and the world. But now, Europe has the fruit of its great wickedness. In place of the Jews are seven times as many Muslims who, according to the Koran, the Hadith, and their avowed goals, claim Europe for Allah, for the Koran, for Muhammad, and for Islam.

They come, according to the Koran and the Hadith, their “holy books,” to do away with the “sons of apes and pigs,” that is, Jews - the “Saturday people” and Christians - the “Sunday people.” And they are doing it. They will not spare any peoples; they even slaughter other Muslims of different thought and doctrine, anybody who does not agree with them.

Consider the bombs, the riots, the frenzied hatred, and the murderous words and acts of Muslims throughout the world – America, England, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Indonesia, Sudan, Egypt, Libya, the Philippines, Somalia, Algeria, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, India, Afghanistan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Argentina – country after country after country.

I would not care if the Jews in Israel today were so-called Khazars! When is the last time you heard of a so-called Khazar crying, “Death to Canada! Death to America!”? Or “Death to Syria! Death to Iraq! Death to Iran!”?

When is the last time you heard of Jews or Khazars deceitfully sneaking into a crowd in a public place full of people, including their own, and blowing themselves up?

When is the last time you heard of Jews deliberately attacking and destroying a church, temple, cathedral, synagogue, or mosque?

When is the last time you saw a Jew burn up one of his own with gasoline and tires, or behead someone publicly in the Name of their God?

When is the last time you saw Jews kidnap an Arab and keep him for ransom to release “freedom fighters,” only to deliver the corpse of that Arab for hundreds of their "freedom fighters"?

When is the last time you heard of multitudes of Jews madly screaming in the streets for the blood of those they hate?

When is the last time you heard of Israel teaching its children from infancy to hate and kill Arabs or Muslims?

Where in the Israeli constitution does one find the intent to exterminate any nation or people as one finds in the PLO, Fatah, and Hamas manifestos?

When Palestinians need medical care, they have access to Israeli hospitals. Do you think any Israeli or Jew would dare step on Palestinian soil for medical care?

In Israel, all religions are permitted, even Islam, whose holy book condemns Jews! Try finding permission and peace for Judaism and Christianity in most Muslim nations, particularly in the Middle East? If there are such, they are isolated and limited, as the record bears out.

Try finding Jewish government officials in the Palestinian territories as one finds Arabs in the Knesset and other instruments of Israeli government.

Every time one turns around, one sees an abundance of evidence that Jews are productive, industrious, peaceful, and inventive; they build, restore, and redeem. When they were granted what little land was available to them, they took it and restored it from a barren, malaria-infested wasteland, which is all it was under Muslim and Arab dominion.

No, the world is insane, incensed with an inexplicable hatred that knows no bounds. We say, “God is finished winking. He is done with His chastisement of His people.” And we stand by, in, with, and for Him. We stand with Jews and with Israel because we cannot countenance such injustice and hatred as is practiced with impunity against Jews. It is abominable.

Those standing against Israel are either insane, hateful, or ignorant. In any case, God has hardened their hearts against His people that He might destroy not His people, but those who come against His people.

We also cannot countenance shutting our mouths in fear. Most hideous of all is the contemptible stance of those in the West termed by Islamists as “useful idiots.” They are those who call Islam the "religion of peace" and are willing to sell out Israel to appease bloodthirsty jihadists. Then there are the masses who follow the lead of "idiots," stopping their ears and shutting their mouths in greed and fear, while the wicked of the world prey on both Jews and Christians everywhere.

Our consolation when we see this evil is that Christianity is so hypocritical and blasphemous that it needs addressing, and God is doing it by the Islamic empire (you read that right; it is not merely a religion, but an ideology, a political movement religiously bent on world conquest – it is their holy mandate, like it or not).

Jews also need addressing. They are a fearful, compromising lot, and they must learn that compromise never pays. In all the times I have compromised in the truth, trying to preserve myself, I have always suffered loss. I have learned. Jews need to learn that though they empty their pockets and give away all their possessions to their enemies, still God will judge them for that very fear because they have not sought Him for sustenance, protection, and deliverance. He will deliver them into their treacherous enemies’ hands, and the enemy will never be pacified until Jews learn to stand, no matter what.

When Israel finally musters the courage and the faith to stand up to its enemies, no matter what the odds or the consequences, the job will be done, and Israel will fully succeed in defeating its enemies. When it finally and willingly steps out of its comfort zone and says, “Do or die,” or, “If I perish, I perish,” it will then have the opportunity to come alive, to prosper and expand, rather than be dead and diminished. Did this not happen in the Six Day War in 1967 when Israel preempted its enemies, thus scoring a marvelous victory? That is the only option God will permit for Israel. Better yet, we will see God stand for Israel!

For now, Israel is afraid of the world’s negative opinion and of sanctions; it bends over backwards to please the world. But since when do songbirds appease cats, or chickens foxes? Whether the chickens go out among the foxes or let the foxes into their pen, it is only a matter of time before the true nature of the foxes is manifest.

Israel, do you really think you will appease the foxes by flattery, attempted fellowship with them, or yielding to them? Does the world have a right to demand that you die willingly? Do you really think that you can escape by compromise and appeasement? Think again. Ask Chamberlain and Churchill.

But why are these things demanded of you, and why are all these things happening? Is it not because your God is forming you for Himself, even as He formed you from a family into tribes and then into a nation in the iron furnace of Egypt?

When you stand against all odds, your God will be there. He has done it before, and He will do it again. Yes, you have had cause to fear before, but do not fear now; do not hesitate. For your lives, resist the temptation; stop cowering; do not give your enemies occasion to scorn you.

Believe in your God. Behold, your King, Israel! Behold Jesus Christ, Who will fight against the Islamic nation for you, against the Roman Catholic Church, which has nothing whatsoever to do with Him, against Russia and Iran, and against all those who stand against you. Dare to die, and you will live. Prepare as cowards to die, and you will die. It is your choice. As Moses drew the line for God’s side, so God draws the line now for you to choose.

Turn from your sins, all you Jews. Turn away from the sins of the Gentiles. Did you not know, have you not red in the Torah, that your God deplores homosexuality, adultery, fornication, theft, murder, all filthiness of flesh, oppression of neighbor, and false religion? Do you not know that your sufferings all these centuries have been for those very things? How much more do you want of fear and torment? Are you not full yet?

Do you not know that you are more accountable for these sins than are the Gentiles because with you originates the Law of God? To whom much is given much is required.

Believe in your God, the God of your fathers, the God of the Torah, for when you do, He will stand for you and fight your battles. You will see. Keep the Ten Commandments, do not do as the heathen, cleanse your land of all wickedness, and see the glory of your God.

He will stand for you even as He did in the day of Moses, Samuel, Hezekiah, and Esther. Your problem is that you do not believe your own roots. As the root, so is the stock. Let the stock grow that it might produce branches, leaves, buds, blossoms, and fruit. Let the world be enriched by your presence in a new and living way.

May God put away your enemies forever. May God bless the world by you. May His will be done, and may He be glorified and be all in all.
