False Teacher – Daniel Zopoula

A Blasphemous Charade

A visit to a local church leads to a unique correspondence, where you can see how the man of sin will huff and puff and bluff, without being able to convince or convict a man of God or those chosen and kept as His sheep. On the contrary, his magic not working on children of light, he is exposed as an empty sham, whose arrogance is his downfall.

Daniel being installed as a bishop of an organization that seeks ecumenical unity among all branches of Mystery, Babylon the Great.

Ron Miller, a member of the Miz City congregation, handed Victor an invitation card on the street to a Miz City gathering titled, “Church in the Park, BBQ, and Family Fun – The Way of the World.” The event was to be held July 20, 2014 at the Lethbridge Sports Park.

Victor wanted to know what all the praise of Miz City and Daniel Zopoula coming from various sources was about. He knew in the Lord he needed to accept the invitation to see for himself. Martin Van Popta joined him.

At the gathering on that sunny day, they conversed with head pastor Reverend Daniel Zopoula, his wife Sara, and Frankie Allen, assistant pastor. That evening, Daniel called Victor, thanking him for coming and “sharing his wisdom.” Nine days later, the Lord led Victor to write Daniel. Here is the correspondence and exchange that ensued.

Victor wrote:

Hi Daniel, Sara, and Frankie,

People, I write you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

You’re in great error, misleading many. For the sake of unity and happiness, you trash the Truth of God and despise His Law, His Holiness, and His Righteousness. You make a mockery of Him and His True Way. You live in lawlessness, destroying and being destroyed.

While visiting your gathering on July 20th at the Lethbridge Sports Park, here’s what the Lord Jesus Christ gave me to see.

I saw death and hell reigning in your congregation, notwithstanding the manifest externals. There was no life with the people. They were hoping against hope, wishing, trying to be comfortable and fulfilled, yet were in great darkness and living in a constant state of spiritual lethargy, emptiness, disappointment, and quiet desperation. Most if not all of them wouldn’t even know it, so dark is their darkness. “The dead know not anything.” It was so sad.

You have formulated a way to attract people and make them feel accepted and at home, but their home isn’t the Kingdom of God. Instead, it’s an accommodation in Hades, and your people have no peace.

By man, you are titled “Reverend Doctor” Daniel, though with feigned humility, you brush aside the title and say, “I’m Daniel.” Only God is to be revered. You don’t find the prophets, apostles, and saints endowed with glorious and proud titles bestowed on them by men to denote authority from God. Those commissioned by the Lord abhor such pomp and pretense.

You spiritual leaders wear religious garb, carry titles, rest in your credentials of men that the apostle Paul calls “dung,” and seek to impress all with your love and acceptance. Your site speaks high-minded intellectual theology and philosophy, but your ways are an abomination to God, Who abhors that which men highly regard.

When Martin Van Popta and I spoke to you, Sara, when we first arrived, it was soon evident you could barely conceal your contempt for us and what we had to say. When we brought forth some points like words Jesus spoke concerning His death and resurrection, you constantly giggled, interrupted, and countered with things like, “We needn’t dwell on technicalities.”

Jesus declared men would be given a sign and only one, a sign that was demonstrated centuries before through Jonah. Jonah’s experience was a living parable pointing to the day of fulfillment in none other than the Messiah of Israel. Jesus said He would be 3 days and 3 nights in the grave, even as Jonah was 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the fish, but according to your Catholic “Good Friday” and “Easter Sunday,” He is made a liar; His Word, a mere “technicality.”

You name His death and resurrection “Easter” after the pagan sex goddess, the queen of Heaven to whom Jeremiah referred when warning the Israelites against their abominable, idolatrous worship. They wouldn’t listen to him and were destroyed, taken into captivity, and dispersed. (Read Jeremiah 44.) “It’s the thought that counts,” you argue. “We don’t worship Easter (Ashtoreth), we commemorate the Lord’s death and resurrection.”

You celebrate the birth of the anti-Christ, the sun god, Baal, on his birthdate, December 25th, though you do so in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

You substitute a Catholic law for God’s, in that you keep the first day, Sunday, as the holy day of the week rather than the seventh, the Sabbath, which God instituted and blessed from the beginning. And nowhere in Holy Scripture, God’s Authoritative Record, can you find substantiation for your switch.

You worship the sun god, Baal, in the Name of the Lord. But God’s Law is eternal and inviolable; His Law is a manifestation of His Person and Character. Not one jot or tittle of it has passed. To break His Law is to break with Him and die.

You bring all pagan doctrine and practice with you in doing your “new thing,” which is as old as the hills, going back to Nimrod and beyond. Baal and Ashtoreth continue to be worshipped in the high places, yours included, only now in the Name of Jesus.

What about the Law of God? Do you thoroughly despise it? Martin tells me he asked you, Frankie, if you taught the Law of God, to which you replied, “To a certain extent.” What does the One you profess to represent have to say about that?

Matthew 5:18-19 MKJV
(18) “For truly I say to you, Till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any way pass from the Law until all is fulfilled.
(19) Therefore whoever shall relax one of these commandments, the least, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.”

But according to you all, as Sara expressed, His Laws are mere “technicalities” not to be bothered about. Unity and love are the things, right? But what kinds of love and unity is the issue, isn’t it?

You are all destroyed, in captivity, and have no part in God’s Kingdom. It is a very sad reality, but reality it is.

You feed your people poison on your physical and spiritual dining tables. They eat and die. Concerning earthly diet, you say you know you should do something about it, but you don’t. You’re ignorant of the toxic poisons Lethbridge City puts in its water that are destroying lives, including those of your own church, yet fail to warn and counsel them. If you’re aware of them and remain silent, all the worse for you.

Meanwhile, you pray for those dying of cancer because they eat polluted foods and drink poison, both physical and spiritual.

You tempt the Lord in your willful ignorance, brushing aside His spiritual Laws on lifestyle, and you all suffer the consequences.

As with the physical, so with the spiritual. What He has made is good, but men have defiled the good, and you flow with men in their evil ways when, as shepherds, you ought to be setting the example and delivering others.

Are you true shepherds of the Lord? No. You believe, practice, and preach many things God hates.

Do you really think to live the abundant life while under the sore deception, thievery, and destruction of the enemy?

I don’t enjoy bringing this message, but I need to be speaking these things you are sure to scorn and ignore. Do you have too much at stake, too much to lose or give up, not considering you treasure the perishable, man’s praise and honor, which you covet?

The Lord told me in 1975 that He would show me His people through His eyes. He said He was hurting – and repeated and emphasized it. He said I would see more than other men. He called me out from among religious works in 1976 and, by His grace alone, my wife and I came out, thankfully so.

We were called out of horrible destruction, the very works you are all in now. We had little idea how dark it was where we were, but since receiving His understanding, we now suffer with Him the rejection of all who think they see while they remain in their graves and are so blind.

However, we know that one day all men will see and be delivered. With that conviction, we rejoice and are thankful to serve the Lord to that end. We warn and rebuke with hope of better things for all.

Yes, you have deceived many and are well received for it, while you and those who receive you are apt to think I’m a spiritual idiot, a heretic, a self-styled prophet who doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about. But all I say here is true.

“And He said to them, ‘You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God’” (Luke 16:15).

The converse is also true: That which is highly esteemed by God is abomination in the sight of men.

The “Reverend” Bill Calderwood is with you, with his religious paraphernalia and earthly title of presumed spiritual importance, but he and all of you have been serving the god of this world and not the Lord Jesus Christ. You all walk in religious and spiritual darkness.

Dead, dead, dead… your gathering was dead – no life at all. I’m not criticizing or condemning now; I’m telling you what I saw (and see at your website). Martin also saw the same. I feel bad for people there, the dying and dead, some of whom I know or am aware of, like Janette Sorochan, Andy McCallum, and Donny Sorochan and his wife – hard and dead, yet being persuaded to believe they have something or that you have something for them.

You do souls and God great disservice. Perhaps you don’t realize it, but it’s true. There’s so much wrong in your darkness, all growing out of false religion, customs and traditions of men, established because of unbelief and man-pleasing.

Why did we come to your meeting? We were told the Spirit of Christ and Love was in your fellowship. We went to see for ourselves if the report was true, as the Lord went to Sodom to see if what He had heard of it was true. We saw and say, “No, the Prince of Peace and Love isn’t in your midst at all.” Had He been there, things would have been so different and we would have known and rejoiced and praised Him with you. But now He has had to come as a thief, while you haven’t known your time.

I’m thankful Martin and I had opportunity to testify to you, Sara, Daniel, and Frank. I’m hopeful His Word of Truth we’ve spoken will prevail in the end, according to His promise, and produce the desired fruit of faith, righteousness, and freedom in the Lord Jesus Christ, to Whom Alone belongs the praise, glory, power, and honor you all so generously bestow on other gods.

See Diabolical Doctrines and The True Marks of a Cult. These are things the Lord Jesus Christ has revealed to me. He has put a sword in my mouth and in my hand to come against the powers of darkness and to prevail against them by the Power of His Resurrection Life.

He said, “Can stubble stand in a fire? If stubble can stand in a fire, so will your enemies be able to stand against you.”

So it has been for many years now, His Word not failing.

I call on you all to repent before the Lord Jesus Christ of your evil ways you call “good,” even “holy.”

Worshipping the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth, by His grace, and calling on others to do the same,

Victor Hafichuk, with Martin’s thankful agreement.

Daniel replied:

Dearest Victor,

I speak in the name of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Who appointed me a minister of his Gospel and made me and mine partakers of the glorious Kingdom of God, together with his elects: Not by the will of a man, but by his grace and His holy misericordious manifestation of his presence.

May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in his sight.

By means of this email, I hereby acknowledge receipt of your email and the sincere thoughts and impressions your modest person clearly communicated in good faith without guile or explicit desire to offend, defame or prejudice.

Your honest claims and judgments are yours and my appreciations of them and the nature of the source(s) that nurtured those are obviously mine to own. As a courtesy to yourself, let it be known that I have instructed my beloved wife and Rev. Frank to not respond to your email as I have done so already on our behalf.

I am afraid, no matter the stature of a man (you a culpa), any word that they say must be discerned in the light of Christ and the living Word of God: By this I mean both their MESSAGE and METHOD need to be rightly divided & judged and not just passively received as eternal gospel truth. Let God be God and Everyman a liar! The Apostles were careful to apply this discipline on account of Apostle Paul in Galatians chapters one and two.

At reading your email and the first impressions I glean from it, you probably have had many religious arguments & battles with many people and perhaps much unnecessary suffering and accusations grew out of those, resulting in a culture of exclusivity and isolation perhaps against you and your life investment(s): Everyone probably think you are a sect (except themselves) and it might be that you (or your own) in turn think everyone else but you is a sect. I really don’t care about this kind of irrelevant game. In the light of eternity and what is raging around the world that God so love that he sent His son, messiah Jesus, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life!

I have deep respect for people of all background and journeys like yourself. There is something sacred about people’s journey.

I am sure glad I know and fear the Lord God and Father of all.

I do not know you and safe to say that short of your brief chat with me, you do not know me or the community I lead nor the Gospel that we preach which is the unadulterated Gospel of Christ and Christ alone our Lord.

In all honesty (yet without violating profound respect towards your person), I am very astonished you spoke so fast: I have the highest esteem for people who are at your age & stage of life and journey.

I am bewildered that you did not ask to be invited to speak on any theological matter or at least seek to have a serious one on one meeting with me the chief theologian of his local congregation to engage me on any theological stream you may have reason to question.

Sir, I am afraid, perhaps decisions and disciplines like these you apply do not usually set people up to welcome you and/or much of the things that you might have to say about themselves or their people even if what you have to say is relatively authentic (or not).

Thus, as a courtesy to yourself, your pastoral office and your community, I reserve judgment about your life, your journey and all that you are about.

As promised, I did read and study your website and all that is said and being said about you or what you are about. But Sir, I cannot draw any qualified judgment without knowing you.

In all honesty your website hides you, your message, and your method, very effectively. I cannot say you truly are your website. I am certain you are not it. In many cases, people’s websites often highly betray their true person, message, method and worth.

People are way more (or less) than what is stated (or not) about them on their website(s) or business card(s). Thus, I reserve judgment about you and your journey.

It is a principle of mine to not speak until invited. Sir, I hope we get to know each other just a little more.

Over the years, I have heard many opinions people manufactures or expressed about me and my associations (positive or not). I resolve that they or their opinions do not define me or my associations, both intimate and professional, theological or not: The Lord does.

Over the years I did also hear judgments about you too, which I never beheld as truth or false for I never knew you. This discipline, I practice as a courtesy with all people.

I think you are more likely a descent and honorable humble person who has his theological positions just like the next person.

I am told by those who think they know you (disputable) that perhaps what might distinguish you is not your expertise in theology, Biblical Knowledge, and or ecclesial manners and history. Rather, your expertise as a nutritionist. So, I am told that many a person may buy your food but not the theology you dispense.

Like I told you in our brief light encounter, people did call Jesus names too, even calling him false prophet and people left him by the thousands… I am so free from people’s opinion and praises and nothing they say or don’t won’t intimately define me. I am intimidated by no man. My ministry is done out of rest, not restlessness. I serve Jesus Christ who has visibly and intimately revealed himself to me and am here for his sake. I have no other claim of legitimacy but here: cradled in Christ alone.

Sir, May I ask to be invited to attend your religious gathering as well someday?

Should space be natural to both, I would welcome returning the favour and attending your community worship gathering, then meet one on one on theological questions… After hearing each others, we might perhaps earn the right to speak to, or, reserve judgment about cursing each other’s associations and affiliations. It is not my intention to engage in any defamation of characters. I am aware of the Laws of the Land and have no appetite for religious bickering that have no temporal or eternal added value.

In the mean time Sir, I accept your call to repent. I always do. And now, I call you to same: wisdom calls you to examine your heart and discern if there be any deviant ways in your heart. See if there be any wayward path in your gospel, your message and your method. Repent ye therefrom any hidden pride and self aggrandizement and exhalation. let God be God and every man a liar.

I write in all respect, honesty, in good faith, love and compassion, not claiming to be whatsoever prophet over you. I am just an overdressed deacon in the house of The Lord.

Until we meet again soon,
In the hand of God the Almighty, let us all be entrusted.

Shalom, ++ Daniel

Ps: over coffee, we can discuss your take on the theological prostitutions in church history and the values people came to add upon certain a days of the week, certain seasons and festivals. Those conversations are easy to have.

However, in a latter email, I shall address your statement about my wife and the Honorable Rev Frank, the Most Rev. Dr Bill Calderwood, The Sorochans, the Mcallum, and more.

As a courtesy to yourself, because of your historical connection with some of those people, for integrity sake, and to boundary our conversation(s), next time you mention people’s name on an email like this one to myself, I ask that you please cc them so that they may be aware of the conversation being had on their backs. You are an Honorable person and I know you certainly would appreciate this. Respectfully, Daniel

Victor replied:

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful” (Proverbs 27:6 MKJV).

Daniel, I do invite you to meet with our fellowship as soon as can be arranged, both face to face at Harvest Haven and at our internet Sabbath gathering. Keep that in mind as I continue this reply to you. I also have no problem with meeting you one on one or you meeting with those of our fellowship, should any agree or choose to do so.

Not that you need my permission, but you’re free to share our past and present personal correspondence with all those I’ve mentioned – Bill Calderwood, Don and Dilene Sorochan, Janette Sorochan, Andy McCallum, Frankie Allen, Ron Miller, Todd Atkinson, and everyone else you choose. (I’m CC’ing those whose addresses I have.) They all need to hear the truth, particularly contrasted to the falsehood I now address in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

You say, “I am sure glad I know and fear the Lord God and Father of all.

I would that were true, but by Him I know otherwise. How can one who knows and fears God be leading a dead congregation such as we, being enlightened by the Lord, witnessed? The Lord Jesus Christ has never made Himself known to you or you couldn’t possibly believe, speak, and practice the things you believe, speak, and practice. You have bypassed Him for your own will and glory.

“Concerning the works of men, by the Words of Your lips, I am kept from the paths of the destroyer” (Psalms 17:4 MKJV).

You aren’t a true Christian as defined by the Bible. In the Lord, I see by your words, spirit, and expression that you are a carnal nominal Christian “minister,” who is truly at enmity with Him Who Is Holy and True. You’re one who supposes to take great advantage of man’s ordination and title, presuming to be a man of God. You’re greatly admired by several and have a reputation of being so.

“You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God” (Luke 16:15 MKJV).

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your email and the sincere thoughts and impressions your modest person clearly communicated in good faith without guile or explicit desire to offend, defame, or prejudice.

You may mean to flatter me; of myself I deserve no credit for good. By God’s grace only, I communicate with you now as you describe.

The “words of your mouth and the meditations of your heart” aren’t at all acceptable in His sight; they are presumptuous and arrogant. Both your message and method are in entire disharmony with the Lord, whether you know it or not.

No probably about it; I “have had many religious arguments & battles with many people,” but “unnecessary suffering”? I don’t think so – my suffering has been quite necessary. Furthermore, by the Lord’s grace, I don’t suffer defeat because He sends me and is with me. But you, Daniel, savor and are devoted to the things of men – and that’s your core problem.

…a culture of exclusivity and isolation perhaps against you and your life investment(s)”? You are repeatedly ambiguous. Are you saying we are excluded and isolated by others? If so, you’re right! No man may buy or sell without the mark of the beast; I don’t bear that mark by deed or thought, having forsaken it nearly four decades ago.

As for our part, we exclude nobody except those who deliberately choose evil before God, especially those who call themselves by His Name. Nor are we isolationists. Our lives are open to all, believers and unbelievers, spiritually, commercially, socially – in all ways required – by God’s grace. If you have contrary ideas, they are false.

A cursory examination of our three websites (TPOT, HH, and FFL) would answer your questions and give you understanding to put away your false notions and speculations, if you were able to receive.

I do not know you and safe to say that short of your brief chat with me, you do not know me or the community I lead nor the Gospel that we preach which is the unadulterated Gospel of Christ and Christ alone our Lord.

Not safe to say at all. I saw what I saw at your meeting in the park because the Lord gave me to see, not after the appearance, but by His eyes, even as He declared to me long ago. Your confidence isn’t in the Lord, but in yourself and your own judgment. Furthermore, I’ve known several of your community and they don’t know the Lord, either.

Your gospel is quite adulterated and the fruits tell so.

In all honesty (yet without violating profound respect towards your person), I am very astonished you spoke so fast: I have the highest esteem for people who are at your age & stage of life and journey.

You have no idea how fast I spoke, Daniel. By the Spirit of the Lord, I’ve known of your ways and that of your congregation since at least 1984 when dealing with Ric and Sharon Swihart, who were under Bill Calderwood’s leadership.

We were exposed to Andy McCallum in 1995 and 1996, who was less than an ideal neighbor of ours, abusing and accusing us relentlessly while he was involved with Bill Calderwood’s congregation (before you came along, I believe).

Then some years ago (2007 and 2008), we had correspondence with several in the River of Life leadership, which included you, Bill Calderwood, Donny Sorochan, Todd Atkinson, Don Sheppard, Grant Bretherick, Andy McCallum, and several others.

We’ve also had conflicts with others related to some in your congregation in other circumstances because speaking the Word of Truth to them, which they despised in their self-destructive mindsets.

Finally, Janette Sorochan spoke of your latest congregation, Miz City, and Ron Miller gave me your invitation to the park gathering, praising you and yours to the heavens. I decided to be sure of the spiritual essence by witnessing it for myself before making judgment, lest I should err or offend in speaking.

I am bewildered that you did not ask to be invited to speak on any theological matter or at least seek to have a serious one on one meeting with me the chief theologian of his local congregation to engage me on any theological stream you may have reason to question.

Bewildered? Why should I ask to be invited to speak, unless the Lord directed me so (see how carnal you are)? And what was the problem with my accepting Ron’s invitation, which your congregation was distributing to the public at large? Was I somehow obligated to certain conditions before or upon accepting? How so?

And why would I first speak to you? Was that one of your conditions? If so, I certainly wasn’t aware of it. Aren’t you proud, defensive, and confounded, Daniel, by reading into this situation?

“Speaking so fast” wasn’t the case after all and no need for you to be astonished. No, Daniel, I don’t believe you have any esteem for me or for God and His righteousness. Yours is a “form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.”

Sir, I am afraid, perhaps decisions and disciplines like these you apply do not usually set people up to welcome you and/or much of the things that you might have to say about themselves or their people even if what you have to say is relatively authentic (or not).

Tell me, Daniel: How well were prophets of God ever received? Ask Elijah, John, and Jesus Christ, if you will.

“I have come in My Father’s Name, and you do not receive Me. If another shall come in his own name, him you will receive” (John 5:43 MKJV).

You speak pompously and foolishly, as a prime pleaser of men, coveting their praise for your own selfish ends.

“How can you believe, you who receive honor from one another and do not seek the honor that comes from God only?” (John 5:44 MKJV)

Woe to you! To you, it is indeed all about form, isn’t it?

Watch for the end of your ways if you don’t repent as I call you to, while you arrogantly call for my repentance in return, as though you have any good reason, judgment, or authority to do so. Perhaps the Pharisees called for Immerser John’s repentance, too?

As promised, I did read and study your website and all that is said and being said about you or what you are about. But Sir, I cannot draw any qualified judgment without knowing you.

“We are of God. He who knows God hears us. The one who is not of God does not hear us. From this we know the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error” (1 John 4:6 MKJV).

If you had the Spirit of God and walked with Him, you would be perfectly equipped to discern and judge righteous judgment by our website. You have nothing of God, Who isn’t limited, to work with.

Over the years, I have heard many opinions people manufactures or expressed about me and my associations (positive or not). I resolve that they or their opinions do not define me or my associations, both intimate and professional, theological or not: The Lord does.

Others have dealt in opinion with you. Not so this time. As you presumptuously claim to speak to me in the Name of the Lord, so I rightly claim to speak to you in His Name, by His authority and power. He now defines you as you are in your delusion.

I am told by those who think they know you (disputable) that perhaps what might distinguish you is not your expertise in theology, Biblical Knowledge, and or ecclesial manners and history. Rather, your expertise as a nutritionist. So, I am told that many a person may buy your food but not the theology you dispense.

Daniel, you’ve never known anyone who has truly known me.

I’m expert at nothing. I come speaking to you by the commission and authority of the Lord, and while you have scoffed and will scoff at that for the moment, you will know the Lord has “defined” you by me.

I am intimidated by no man. My ministry is done out of rest, not restlessness. I serve Jesus Christ who has visibly and intimately revealed himself to me and am here for his sake. I have no other claim of legitimacy but here: cradled in Christ alone.

Your boast and confidence is in the flesh; you’ve rested in yourself, but no longer. If you were here for His sake, then you would receive me because I’m in Him and He is in me speaking to you. But you won’t receive me unless the Lord grants you mercy and repentance. I don’t expect it, but anything is possible with God.

Sir, May I ask to be invited to attend your religious gathering as well someday?

You may, as indicated at the beginning of this letter, though you won’t find a “religious” gathering, as you suppose. Rather, it will be, for the most part, a spiritual gathering in Christ.

After hearing each others, we might perhaps earn the right to speak to, or, reserve judgment about cursing each other’s associations and affiliations. It is not my intention to engage in any defamation of characters. I am aware of the Laws of the Land and have no appetite for religious bickering that have no temporal or eternal added value.

My right to speak doesn’t come by earning it or by virtue of carnal judgment any more than Moses and Aaron’s right to speak to Pharaoh came by communing with him.

Nor have I cursed you in any way. Is the truth a curse to you? Am I your enemy because I speak the truth to you? Was Jesus guilty of defamation of character when speaking of the Pharisees and addressing them publicly, as He did in His ministry? Would you call those conversations “religious bickering that have no temporal or eternal value”? Did the Roman law of the land determine His speech to and of them or any other?

In the mean time Sir, I accept your call to repent. I always do. And now, I call you to same: wisdom calls you to examine your heart and discern if there be any deviant ways in your heart. See if there be any wayward path in your gospel, your message and your method. Repent ye therefrom any hidden pride and self aggrandizement and exhalation. let God be God and every man a liar.

You haven’t remotely accepted my call on you to repent because you don’t know the meaning of the word as God intends, or you wouldn’t say you “always do.” And you wouldn’t call on me to repent in return to compete or at least claim equal ground and rights.

You are unrepentant, confident in yourself, and arrogant. Shall the Pharisees call on John and Jesus to repent? Shall the religious call on the Lord’s disciples to repent? Not in spirit and in truth they wouldn’t; they only do so according to their perverse perceptions of the matters of God and His Kingdom.

You’re nobody to judge anyone’s message or method, Daniel. I don’t tell you this to strive, but I do say these things to contend for the faith once delivered to the saints, which your religious circles have never known, or if they did, they departed from it generations ago. God is finished winking at such antics and pursuit of pleasure. It is now His Day, and no longer man’s.

Until we meet again soon,
In the hand of God the Almighty, let us all be entrusted.

Amen, let it be so! Waiting for you, according to the Lord’s will, way, and timing.

Let us know when you wish to meet with us. To meet with local believers face to face and talk, Sunday afternoon at Harvest Haven would likely be most suitable. If not possible for you, we’ll try to accommodate you on another of our working days. You can bring anyone you like with you.

Our internet meeting is in a text chat room on Saturdays beginning at noon with people around the world, lasting for about 5 to 6 hours. This would be a good representation of the nature and scope of our fellowship in the Lord by keyboard. There you would be free to express yourself, ask questions, or simply observe, as all are free to do. Contact Sara@ThePathofTruth.com for instructions to enter; it’s very simple.

Hoping you won’t be offended by my letter,

Victor

Daniel replied:

Victor, I got your email and did read it. I am in West Africa as I told you over the telephone.

Thanks for making an effort to respond to my email the best you could.

I do wonder if you might have been distracted by perhaps my bushman ways of communicating and thus you ended up reading into, and responding to the letter & form of my message (the trivial), whileth failing the spirit of the email message I sent to you in Love, with Love, and thru Love, in unity with the Holy Spirit.

Victor, for a minute, let me talk to you the way you did to me in your two emails and see how that kind of linguistic hostility and violence would resonate in the fabric of your soul:

Victor, you are a false prophet. Please don’t be offended to hear me say that. Ok? You and I both know you are. If you were not of the darkness you would repent and bend the knee to all I, the persecuted and rejected prophet told you. If you were of love, you would have recognized me and my message. But your mind is way too dark to understand and you are way too corrupted to accept the obviousness. You chose the way of the prodigal and the ways of Cain. You do not know God. Sodom and Gomorrah is not far from whence thou abideth.

If you were a Prophet of The Lord you would have recognized me. Now I doubt that you know God and you certainly have no part in his kingdom less you repent, for you are too conceited to accept me, a servant of The Lord.

Victor, in your pride and carnality you have carved out a hill to protect you city. But just like in seven days the walls of Jericho fell, so it will be for you. You are seeking your own glory and the praises of people.

Victor, you have rejected not me but the One who sent me. He who rejects me rejects not me, but the One who sent me. I am warning you once more: It is not I who lives but the One who lives in me. As for you, you crave for rejection, you like it when people reject you for it justifies your darken circular pharisaic logic by wish you shall perish. Hypocrite, when would you repent? When would you stop your ways and Do my ways? Are you so obstinate in your own words and your own will and ways?

Why do you elevate your self as a prophet of God? You make a mockery of the sacred, you elevate one day over another and call it holy while failing to recognize that every day is holy by virtue of the fact that the earth is The Lord’s: Each day and night belongs to The Lord. He is to be worshiped everywhere and at all paces. All creation gives him praise without ceasing. If you read the scriptures you would have figured this out by now. Prove it to me that it is The Lord (not man) who established you as a prophet (as you claim to be) and I will prove it to you and to all that you are not, for I Am of The Lord!

It would seem you and I do have very strong minds for we both claim to speak on behalf of The Lord. I guest The Lord himself will settle this matter on His Holy Mountain and prove who did indeed hear from The Lord, whether your humble person or my self. The Lord will settle this matter himself in a way of His own choosing and no one should make a mockery of this: in just a little while, all will know who is the one who speaks on behalf of the True God.

How does that make you feel for a minute? Do you like it? Are you getting angry over this? This is what I meant when I told you in my previous email saying: “Sir, I am afraid, perhaps decisions and disciplines like these you apply do not usually set people up to welcome you and/or much of the things that you might have to say about themselves or their people even if what you have to say is relatively authentic (or not).” When we both claim authority from The Lord and you begin calling me a deceived person. I beg you to keep the tone of this conversation from being personal, I will to do the same. Ok? You and me could both ask each other’s questions and choose to respond authentically to them as revealed to each, without degrading each other and making false accusation and extreme claims of each other. Like you, I have no appetite for such conversations. You are saying you are “in” and I am not. I am saying, let refrain from these extreme claims. That path would be foolish for people our age to journey on.

You certainly do not know me, and you just proved it; even though you are claiming to have knowledge of me. I DO NOT KNOW YOU. I KNOW YOU ONLY THRU THE OPINIONS OF OTHERS like I said in my previous kind and gracious email to you:

“Over the years, I have heard many opinions people manufactured or expressed about me and my associations (positive or not). I resolve that they or their opinions do not define me or my associations, both intimate and professional, theological or not: The Lord does.” ”I am told by those who think they know you (disputable) that perhaps what might distinguish you is not your expertise in theology, Biblical Knowledge, and or ecclesial manners and history. Rather, your expertise as a nutritionist. So, I am told that many a person may buy your food but not the theology you dispense.”

We can do better than this. When and if indeed you still wish to meet, let us add a human dimension to our conversation and you would be very surprised at the level of revelations you will behold.

Like I told you over the phone, when I am back, let us get together. I will indeed take you up on your suggestion to sit in on your platform and to visit and appreciate your community.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all, Amen

Authentically, Daniel

Victor replies:

Hi Daniel,

By now, you should no longer be in Africa but Alberta, I take it.

Thanks for making an effort to respond to my email the best you could.

Not only did I make an effort – I succeeded in doing what was necessary and good before God. You shouldn’t flatter me. And there was no distraction on my part whatsoever, or any love on yours except that which was feigned: False Love – Satan’s Last Stronghold. God’s gift of discernment doesn’t fail.

Hostility and violence”? There was no violence or hostility on my part. You find the truth I speak by the Spirit of the Lord hostile because you don’t walk in it or worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. You have no unity with the Holy Spirit or you would know far better than to accuse me.

Daniel, I have no problem for two reasons with your mimicking of my approach toward you:

One, you speak lies in opposition to me and the Lord, in which case He has instructed and enabled me to rejoice:

Luke 6:22-23 MKJV
(22) Blessed are you when men shall hate you, and when they shall cut you off, and when they shall reproach you and shall cast out your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man.
(23) Rejoice in that day and leap for joy. For behold, your reward is great in Heaven. For so their fathers did according to these things to the prophets.

Two, I know you mean in your heart what you say to me in italics, and aren’t simply giving me a “sample of my own medicine.” You show your true colors. Why should I be upset about that? It’s no surprise – you’re simply proving my words and discernment from the Lord by faith. Shall I be upset with confirmation? You aren’t fooling me and, least of all, the Lord. You are a scoundrel and a mocker. Your days are numbered.

You say, “you elevate one day over another and call it holy while failing to recognize that every day is holy by virtue of the fact that the earth is The Lord’s: Each day and night belongs to The Lord. He is to be worshiped everywhere and at all paces.

When God gave the Commandments, did He intend to be worshipped and praised only on the Sabbath day which He, not I, sanctified and commanded to remember to keep holy? How foolish of you to miss that! You speak as the darkened one you are.

You come to me taunting the Lord while I come to you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Indeed, Daniel, we will see and know the truth of this contest. And believe it or not, I’m good with His judgment either way. I know He’s with me and thoroughly despises your stance and sacrifice. I’m so thankful for His judgment now.

Referring to your alleged mimicry, you ask, “How does that make you feel for a minute? Do you like it? Are you getting angry over this?

The answer is an unequivocal, “I feel no discomfort,” and I answer, “No,” to the last question. But perhaps you might suspect of me what you’ve already evilly surmised – that I perversely enjoy your remarks: “As for you, you crave for rejection, you like it when people reject you for it justifies your darken circular pharisaic logic by wish you shall perish.

Sir, I am afraid, perhaps decisions and disciplines like these you apply do not usually set people up to welcome you and/or much of the things that you might have to say about themselves or their people even if what you have to say is relatively authentic (or not).

If I were a man-pleaser, I should be concerned, but by God’s grace and faithfulness, I’m neither here to please you nor concerned if I don’t. You speak against the Lord and I speak for Him. Who will prevail? Did the religious hypocrites welcome the Lord or did they hate Him? You know your fathers and what they did to Him. For you to think I should speak to be welcomed by such as you only declares you are the son of those who stoned His prophets and crucified Him.

When we both claim authority from The Lord and you begin calling me a deceived person. I beg you to keep the tone of this conversation from being personal, I will to do the same. Ok?

The rulers of the Jews claimed authority from God and rejected the Ultimate Authority standing before them, demanding, “By whose authority do you do [speak] these things?” Not only did He tell them they were deceived, even as they told Him He was deceived, but He told them they were of their father the devil, even as they said He had a devil and operated by Satan’s power. He was quite personal with them, don’t you think?

So how does your request make any sense to those of us who know Him, to those who recognize His adversaries and who know the difference between the two? Again and again, Daniel, you expose yourself for the charlatan you are.

I’m also coming to believe you know you’re a charlatan, that you have already practiced deception wittingly on many others and do so even now. Wittingly or not, your judgment is here by His Word.

You and me could both ask each other’s questions and choose to respond authentically to them as revealed to each, without degrading each other and making false accusation and extreme claims of each other.

While you degrade and falsely accuse me, Daniel, I’m likely giving you more credit than is coming to you, and there is no false accusation on my part. I know what the Lord shows me of you and what I’m saying is true. Furthermore, many others now know it and all will know it in due time.

Extreme claims”? You make them here, not I. But how long can you bluff others or fool yourself into thinking you’ll get away with your chicanery?

That path would be foolish for people our age to journey on.

My emphasis in bold. This has nothing to do with age. If you had anything to do with the Lord, especially as you claim, you’d know better, but you don’t. Not that you need to speak such obvious error to be judged or discerned for what you are.

We can do better than this. When and if indeed you still wish to meet, let us add a human dimension to our conversation and you would be very surprised at the level of revelations you will behold.

Bring it on, Daniel. Give it your level best. I relish the thought of our meeting, not to add a human dimension, but for the Lord to meet us and make His judgment of whom He loves and deems a faithful servant.

If I’m “surprised at the level of revelations [I] will behold,” God’s will be done. Come Lord Jesus and do Your pleasure, not mine or Daniel’s.

Like I told you over the phone, when I am back, let us get together. I will indeed take you up on your suggestion to sit in on your platform and to visit and appreciate your community.

Let’s come together in our community. I’ve not changed my mind a whit. Will you appreciate it? I wonder. Only by God’s grace.

“Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that You are the LORD God, and that You have turned their heart back again” (1 Kings 18:37 MKJV).

Lord willing (and I’m sure He is), we can meet likely on Sunday afternoon at Harvest Haven, or you can join us from your home in our online chatroom on the Sabbath (Saturdays) at noon MST. Contact Sara@ThePathofTruth.com and she’ll direct you.

We will welcome you and give you full opportunity to speak as wisdom directs, and, Lord willing, I’ll give each one present the opportunity to speak, as well. If you wish to bring others with you to either meeting, as I’ve already said, you are granted permission to do so – no problem. Bring as many as you please.

An unprofitable servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, but His thankful, very thankful brother,

Victor

Daniel replied:

Many thanks for your response. Thanks for taking the time. I hear your heart. I do know your ways. Brother Victor, do watch your steps carefully, even as you persist on this path, of spirit, and of mind. I am very familiar with people operating in like-manner of spirit. Please repent from this.

Victor, if you truly knew what a charlatan is, and the culture around what a charlatan is or does, you would be the last person to call anyone else a charlatan. God shall not be mocked forever.

I am understanding from the spirit which you are manifesting that you are not that hospitable to me or to the truth even though you deny any hostility from your tone in your letters to me.

You may be the pope of your own world, but verily verily, you certainly are no spiritual police force, prophet or orthodox accrediting body to recon with, or, give authority & credence to. Like many others, you certainly could beneffit from a good one.

So far, you do not speak by the Spirit of God. Soon, you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. That is my prayer. So, have at it. Enjoy your journey and May God almighty have mercy upon you as well.

Like a shepherd, I am watching, together with all of God’s people and the great host of heaven. See you soon when space is natural.

Shalom! Daniel

Victor replied:

“So then did I become hostile to you, speaking truth to you?” (Galatians 4:16 LITV)

Daniel, it isn’t I who am hostile to you but you are hostile to the Lord Jesus Christ. You’re a phony.

I know my path as the Lord has put me in it, He being my Path, which He set me upon over 40 years ago. He has confirmed my steps all the way while I have been graciously granted faith and obedience to Him. We are one.

You, on the other hand, are a product of the works of men, works that are gravely at enmity with Him.

“As to the doings of men, by the Words of Your lips, I keep from the paths of the violent” (Psalms 17:4 LITV).

You are a violent and angry man, Daniel, and being a child of darkness, you naturally deny it and pretend otherwise.

You aren’t His, and He says so. You also mock Him while mocking me.

My hospitality to you is to call you to repentance from your vanity and sin. My invitation stands firm for you to meet with flesh and blood in Christ at Harvest Haven and/or saints online at the Sabbath chat at our website. Will you come? Again, bring anyone you please. I’m good with that, and so are the others.

As with Moses and Noah, my Head is Jesus Christ and His Universal Assembly my accrediting body. But you look to men who produced you outside of the Kingdom of God. You have no part in His Body. Therefore, I call you to meet with us and hear more.

However, if your choice is to stay away, my job for now is done. God will do what He will. He’ll show you how you’ve hated Him and that He has loved me:

“Behold, I give out of those of the synagogue of Satan, those saying themselves to be Jews and are not, but lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you” (Revelation 3:9 MKJV).

As His servant, I tell you that you are of the synagogue of Satan. I bear record of that before all, without hesitation, doubt, shame, or apology. I declare it openly.

You are much praised among men, very popular, but God sees all; He knows your heart and directs me what to say to you. You’re not dealing with a religious idiot now; you’re dealing with the Living God and you’ll know it. I say these things not to condemn you, but to alert you to the fact that you’re already condemned. I speak for your sake and His glory.

You hate me, Daniel, but I love you in God’s grace, not by man’s carnal imitation of agape love. Your kisses are deceitful, but my wounds to you are faithful and full of desire for your salvation. That’s the way it is with me toward you and all.

Don’t lie to me any longer while I tell you the truth you hate to hear. You’re lying to God.

Victor

Transcript of Audio Replies from Daniel Zopoula of Miz City Church on August 20, 2014:

Audio #1 (listen here; transcript below):

Dear Victor,

I received your email and I received your message. Your way of communicating, your appreciation and your love for me, I thank you, but in your email you said that you love me, and this is important, because love conquers everything. The love of God in the heart of people is what saves the world.

Dear Victor, your email reveals something about you: there is a contrast in you. You said in your heart you love me but your lips betray your heart. My prayer is that your lips and your heart be in full alignment. Victor, you loved me because you could not help it. The love of God for me is so deep and He placed that love in people. That is why you say you love me, and deeply you meant it, and I believe you.

By the way, I want you to know, why hate somebody, why hate the people that God loves, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. I want to love what God loves, the people that God loves, and God loves me, so that’s great.

I want you to know in return that I have seen a lot of bad people; you are not one of them. I have seen a lot of angry, tyrant, a lot of people who are domineering, destroying one another, people who are mean, into witchcraft, and people who are so high and lofty, mighty and destructive people; you ain’t one of them. And I have seen people who are real sect leaders and they destroy their people; you are not one of them. You are a decent man. Victor, you are a decent Canadian and a great, just a great person.

Like I say, you have had some things revealed to you in a different manner. You know what, God reveals Himself to different people, at different epochs, at different times, in different ways. So I think you are struggling over accepting the church, over welcoming the church for who it is, that God meant it to be and you only have one notion of what church ought to look like, but God is working outside of your concept of church, He is working outside of your analysis and your understanding, so lean not on your own understanding, acknowledge the Lord, let the Lord reveal Himself to people as He pleases.

And I am not going to tell YOU that you are going to Hell; it is not in my power to say so. It ain’t in your power to say that to someone else either. I think you owe yourself and everybody else owe yourself to just cut some slack and let God be God and every man be a liar; let God decide in the last day. Meanwhile, let’s get to do the work of God: loving the people that God loves, serving in His field, serving humanity. I will see you very soon. God bless you.

Audio #2 (listen here; transcript below):

Thank you for your email, Victor. I appreciate your email. There is something unique about that email. It is that there is a contrast in you. You are a decent man. I have seen lots of sects, lots of people who are very evil, you ain’t one of them. I have seen a lot of people who are angry, and frustrated, and tyrants, and people who…, you ain’t one of them. Some people are scary, and you know, you ain’t, hum, you are just a decent man.

You do have lots of issues with the church that you need to deal with; it is a matter of the heart. The devil speaks to your mind, but the devil being God always speaks to the heart. I want you to know that, hey, when you say that you love me, well, the whole thing is about yeah truly, that there is some contrast. It is like different shades, you love me in your heart, your mind, hey, don’t like necessarily.

All I wanted to say, brother, is that by my presence and my love for you something is being spoken deeply inside you. You actually do like me and you do love me and I know that. And that is OK, Victor, it is OK to love somebody who is different, you know it is OK to have a genuine godly love for somebody and appreciation, but I do want you to know the thing at the same time though, you heart loves me, but your lips betray your heart. The key thing is about the journey between your lips and your heart.

I invite you to pray more, ask the Lord to pour the love of God in your heart for me and for people, for God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, God so loved the world, so why hate the people that God loves?

God loves me, you know it, you can do nothing about it, hum, it is ok, and He is pouring out His love of me in your heart. So Victor, love is going to conquer your heart, alright? Don’t worry about it.

I am a great and decent person, I am no hater of God, I am an orthodox believer, I love Jesus, I love His words, I love the Word of God, I live by it daily. It does not look in the shade that you, it does not compare, it is not similar to the shade of the revelation you received, but that is ok, because your brother, brother, I know Jesus, and you know what, He revealed Himself to me too, it is just a little bit in a unique way.

Maybe it is OK to accept the way God revealed Himself to different people, at different times, in different epochs, in different manner. My brother, may your heart catch up to where God’s heart is about me or anybody. I love you, I shall see you soon. Blessings on you.

Victor replies:

Daniel, I have listened to and circulated your audio messages, with transcription, to our fellowship and asked them to tell me what they saw or heard.

Realize that we all would still be more than willing to meet with you in person at Harvest Haven or in our Sabbath internet chatroom. Name the time and place and we’ll see what the Lord wills for us.

Hear now what a few of those in our fellowship have to say, while others agree with these things, but haven’t felt personally led to verbalize.

Don’t take these assessments lightly, Daniel. They’re essentially true.

What more can I say than what I’ve already said to you? You’ve disregarded it all, as several here will testify. You claim to represent the Lord Jesus Christ but He has nothing to do with you. How do I know? I know because I commune with Him. He has revealed these things to us. He loves me.

You seem to think that none has the right to judge or question your “unique” experience, but we disagree because we have His Spirit and Mind, and the Scriptures clearly declare that we can judge your spiritual status:

1 Corinthians 2:9-16 MKJV
(9) But as it is written, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,” nor has it entered into the heart of man, “the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
(10) But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.
(11) For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of man within him? So also no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
(12) But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.
(13) These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
(14) But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
(15) But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged by no one.
(16) For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

By simply not knowing these things you’re exposed, Daniel. Do I say this to condemn you? No. You’re already condemned:

John 3:18-20 MKJV
(18) He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only-begotten Son of God.
(19) And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil.
(20) For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

While you come to me with your knowledge, worldly credentials, and intellect, I come in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ by His power, revelation, and will. I know all about your church concepts; your problem is that you know nothing of His Church or Kingdom. They are foreign to you because you savor the things of men, not of God.

I speak the light of truth to you, a sound word, but your message is full of darkness, confusion and contradiction. We can give you proof with details, and already have.

Have I said you’re going to hell? No, but I would and do say you are in hell and I know we are dealing with the twofold child of hell your proselytizers were.

Your greater sin is that you refuse to hear. In all your education and experience, you resist the simple truth of God – you reject Him. Not good. Indeed, your attitude spells your judgment.

We all look forward to meeting with you, Daniel, not for fellowship, of course. How can there be fellowship between light and darkness? We look forward to testifying of the Lord Jesus Christ. We look forward to your hearing the truth.

We hope for your repentance and salvation from the destructives you have devised for yourself at the expense of others. We look forward to the Lord Jesus Christ being glorified. That’s why we want to meet. Like I said, bring whom and as many as you will with you or come alone. Your choice.

Victor Hafichuk

Daniel replied:

Victor, I am very embarrassed as my voice note from August 20th to you showed up skewed and a little confusing as it was unedited and two of them were emailed to you. The file I meant to send to you is the one that said: To Victor H. Please discount the first draft that is named: victor.

I never meant to be confusing in my message to you and I apologize.

I am embarrassed especially as the audio in the first draft was Jammed and did not communicate the contrast I wanted to convey; the devil speaking to the mind and God speaking to the heart. In the audio, I seems to say:

The devil speaks to your mind, but ((unclear) the devil being (unclear)) God always speaks to the heart.

Obviously you would be generous enough to understand that I mean to say The devil speaks to your mind, but God always speaks to the heart. In any case that was not meant to be sent to you. I meant to send one and ended up sending you two of them. The one draft was my first recording and I can understand why your transcript of the audio would be skewed.

Beside this, Let me get back to the central message I wish to communicate to you

Victor,

perhaps I am being a fool hoping we will have decent theological conversation but I am doubting that this is any constructive conversation so far. I doubt that you actually want to build bridges for understanding Christians who might be from different theological traditions than what you are familiar with at all. Perhaps James Sorochan’s reminder is noteworthy. I will create space to meet in person and also on your online format and perhaps we can create mutual understanding. Otherwise we are perhaps getting nowhere thru these emails.

I tried to reach out to you, to be generous to you, in deed, through that audio. But Again, it is easy to be distracted by everything else.

I believe you are a decent person. All that I am asking of you (given the nature of your emails to me) is that you try to hold off from theological prejudice and demonstrate statesmanship, some generosity, academic generosity especially as you continually portray me as lost, unredeemed and unknown to God.

I made the point to you that :
God has revealed himself to different people at different times in different manners, of his sovereign choosing, even now , through Christ whom he appointed to be the heir of everything and through whom he also made the universe. This is basic theology. Is it a helpful starting point for conversation?

Supposing that, I am being generous to you and giving you the benefit of the doubt that perhaps it is that God, in Christ, sovereignty manifests or reveals himself differently to people of various civilizations and cultures: If this is true, then basic courtesy, tolerance and understanding is required. This does not mean falling into universalism. Only that God is sovereign and has chosen to reveal himself to his people and thru his various dispensations, including the church, thus making a path of salvation to all nations, even now, thru Christ.

I also made a contrast between what you said to me with your lisps and what your heart really believed, in response to your dismissal of me as a partaker in God’s Kingdom in your earlier email. I was actually mocking that understanding about my position in God’s kingdom which did not actually come clear in my message.

Ps: As I mentioned James Sorochan, I have CC’d Him in on this email as a courtesy.

I will try to meet you on your forum next Saturday or the next, should space be natural.

Always, Daniel

Daniel said more:

Dear Victor, I also wish to let you know that I took notice of the fact that my private email which is addressed to you is being replied to with carbon copy to over 50 identifiable people whom you did not refer to in your email.

I politely ask that you please not. This might be because you misunderstood my earlier email that it is curtesy to cc. the person if you are talking about them in your email. We have nothing to hide, but I ask you to please not have my emails forwarded to strangers, people whom I do not know, who have nothing to do with me or the conversation I am having with you.

I do not wish my email address to be shared with every one you know without my permission beyond this point. As a courtesy to yourself, I have not and do not give your email address to anyone. In the same way, I chose to not cc your emails to anyone who I did not name in person in the email.

Perhaps too, as you are aware of, the new FOIP laws in place does also restrict email senders from sending unsolicited email as well. I hope this helps boundaries expectations.

As a courtesy to you a private citizen, I do not forward your email to anyone else or BCC them to anyone else or publicize them on any media nor would I do so without prior permission from you in writing as it is understood this is a private conversation.

I know you would understand the importance of this request and honour in kind, the courtesy, Privacy, care and respect I thus showed you.

Always, Daniel

I Hope that my speech is frank and faithful to what I have heard in the silence from my soul. Towards unfeigned Love, †† Daniel Zopoula

Unleashing the Worth and Potential of People and Organizations Everywhere, Profoundly Impacting the Way People Live.

To which Victor replied:

Hi Daniel,

I’ll answer your latest letter first, concerning sharing our emails with those CC’ed.

Besides people mentioned in our initial correspondence, the people in the CC mailing list are those of our congregation. I also would have added Andy McCallum, Janette Sorochan, and Bill Calderwood, if I had their addresses, seeing they’ve been mentioned. Do pass on this correspondence to them. I wouldn’t want any to assume I’m speaking secretly of them or with ill intent. For that matter, pass it on to your entire congregation near and far, strangers to me or not.

As well, there are at least 20 of those in the CC email list taking the opportunity to speak to or of you, besides their spouses who agree with them. They are glad to speak and hope you’ll read to your advantage. So these are also “mentioned” in our emails. Have you red what they’ve had to say? You give no indication of that – just like you haven’t responded to anything I’ve written, particularly when refuting your declarations.

If you have a concern that your email address is made public, we’ve only made it public to those mentioned and our congregation. However, we see that your email address is prominently displayed on the net at three links at least, along with your residential address for the whole world to see, which leaves us with the impression that your concern is more about sharing the content of our conversation.

We wonder what you would be saying if we were praising you? Would you still object?

You’ve expressed the desire to be able to meet and commune with our group. It just happens that you got to do it unexpectedly. Are you worried about what you’ve been saying? I’m not; neither are they. I see no reason not to continue our discussion openly, as it concerns all on this list, plus many more.

You see, we have no problem with your speaking publicly to us. Nor do we mind if you share all our correspondence with anyone you please. You have our express permission to do so. We’re thankful to be able to bear witness to the Truth and to publicly reprove the works of darkness, as God grants from time to time. This is one of those times.

Now, if you think we’re in error and not you, Daniel, then should it be a problem to you if our words are made known publicly?

At the same time, if you’re a genuine man of God, as you declare, speaking the Word of God, why would you not want to have everyone hear what you have to say? Hasn’t the Lord said, “That which I speak in your ear, shout from the housetops”? When one shouts from the rooftops, potentially everyone within hearing distance hears.

What the Lord is saying is that the truth is to be published or proclaimed everywhere; it is for everyone. Why aren’t you overjoyed, then, when I share your words with our small flock? Aren’t you eager to sow seed, regardless of where it may land, with strangers or otherwise, in the hope some seed will take root and bear fruit? But we aren’t strangers to you, Daniel, nor are you any longer a stranger to us.

You point out, “Perhaps too, as you are aware of, the new FOIP laws in place does also restrict email senders from sending unsolicited email as well. I hope this helps boundaries expectations.

You err, Daniel. The law that just went into effect pertains only to commerce, restricting merchandizing or internet solicitation without prior consent of the potential consumer. That isn’t the case with us. We aren’t asking you for money or selling you anything.

You declare a motto of sorts, “Unleashing the Worth and Potential of People and Organizations Everywhere, Profoundly Impacting the Way People Live.

Unleashing…people and organizations everywhere…profoundly impacting”? Is that so? Shall you live up to such a motto? I don’t mind sharing!

Now for your “embarrassment” letter.

From what we hear of your audios, there are only slight differences between them. They all have some confusion, but the confusion isn’t so much in the mechanics of delivery as in your thinking and doctrine.

For example, you say, “The devil speaks to your mind, but God always speaks to the heart.

Where do you find substantiation for such thinking or doctrine in the Scriptures? God speaks to the man, period. Nowhere will you find Him speaking to any portion of a man – mind, heart, or wherever else.

Furthermore, if we have renewed minds, being new creatures in Christ, and old things are passed away, why wouldn’t God speak to our minds? You speak foolishly, Daniel, and that speech comes from a carnal mind, Satan’s reservoir of thought and reason:

Romans 8:5-7 MKJV
(5) For they who are according to the flesh mind the things of flesh, but they who are according to the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
(6) For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace
(7) because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can it be.

And you claim to be a man of God, shepherding His sheep?

Of course, you never meant to be confusing, so why apologize for unintentional confusion?

perhaps I am being a fool hoping we will have decent theological conversation but I am doubting that this is any constructive conversation so far.

I’m speaking decent words to you, words of truth, “theological” or otherwise, and this conversation would be very constructive if you were to receive these words. Because you stop your ears is not my responsibility.

I doubt that you actually want to build bridges for understanding Christians who might be from different theological traditions than what you are familiar with at all.

Daniel, there can be no fellowship between light and darkness, so why would I try to build a bridge between the two? Those called of God are to burn, not build, bridges behind them. But I offer you an open door out of the hell and darkness you’re in. That may not seem too flattering to you, I know, but it’s much better than flattery; it’s the truth that makes free, if you can receive it and not be offended.

Given the light of God, we’re quite aware of the many and various “theological traditions,” and they’re all dung, as Paul declared (Philippians 3). When one knows the truth, he knows all things.

“But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:15-16 MKJV).

We speak the things of the Kingdom of God, which entirely surpass men’s vain religious ways, which are not only spiritually arrogant, but anti-Christ.

Matthew 11:25-26 MKJV
(25) At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, O Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the sophisticated and cunning, and revealed them to babes.
(26) Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.”

God has revealed himself to different people at different times in different manners, of his sovereign choosing, even now , through Christ whom he appointed to be the heir of everything and through whom he also made the universe. This is basic theology.

The fact remains that there’s only One True God Who remains the same, unchanging, to all men.

“For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed” (Malachi 3:6 KJV).

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8 MKJV).

You would have me believe He changes with the differences of men, times, and cultures. You would persuade me that you have a mystical relationship with Him that only you are privy to. Such a position would give you the power of secrecy and disable anyone from making judgment. Your “basic theology” won’t work with us, Daniel. Fools may believe you, but God doesn’t; nor will He be deceived; nor will He permit you to continue with such strategy.

Supposing that, I am being generous to you and giving you the benefit of the doubt that perhaps it is that God, in Christ, sovereignty manifests or reveals himself differently to people of various civilizations and cultures: If this is true, then basic courtesy, tolerance and understanding is required.

If this is true”? It’s not, as just discussed. Therefore consider that “basic courtesy, tolerance and understanding” according to man’s carnal expectation is notrequired.

All that I am asking of you (given the nature of your emails to me) is that you try to hold off from theological prejudice and demonstrate statesmanship, some generosity, academic generosity especially as you continually portray me as lost, unredeemed and unknown to God.

Do you think John the Baptist, Jesus, and His apostles did that for the Pharisees, Sadducees, and scribes, or for anyone for that matter?

Daniel, this Saturday (His appointed Sabbath from the beginning of time), we are willing to meet with you online. Be sure to have your Java installed. We begin at noon MST (our time). Should you need help, write Sara@ThePathofTruth.com and she’ll help you get set up.

Victor Hafichuk

Daniel didn’t reply.

On December 4, 2014, Paul wrote to Daniel to alert him to our posting of him as a false teacher:

Hi Daniel,

We’ve posted your correspondence with Victor. If you have anything further to say or want to meet, we’re still open to that. I’ll be visiting in Lethbridge next week. We’re not writing you off, but look forward to a real repentance that will set you free.

Daniel replied the same day:

Dearest Victor and Paul, Kindly, as a matter of principle, I ask, on your honour that you do not post any of my private correspondance without my written permission. Please please kindly remove them from your post as it would appear defamatory against my person and reputation. The law that protects your freedom of speech also protects defamation of someone else. Please kindly remove them from your post or website as it would appear defamatory against my person and reputation. Defamation is communication about a person that tends to hurt the person’s reputation. Regards, Daniel

Daniel also phoned Victor, requesting in the same fashion that we take the posting down. Victor told him that we would conference call him later the same day, which we did.

The call began with Daniel reiterating his request that we remove the post because (and this was the sole stated reason) it contained his personal letters to us.

Paul asked Daniel if there was anything in the post that wasn’t true or accurate. He refused to reply, only insisting he wasn’t there to discuss the substance of the post, but simply to ask to have his personal letters removed.

Paul asked Daniel if he would consider going through his letters to show us what he would change or adjust for public viewing. He refused this option, re-stating his request.

Victor asked Daniel if there was anything he said that he regretted or was ashamed for anyone to know about. Daniel insisted it wasn’t the issue. He said we could go to his website and quote him from there, posting whatever we wanted about him, that he was a false prophet, etc…; no problem. He only wanted us to remove his letters from our site and leave his wife and family out of it. (His wife is mentioned because she participated in the face-to-face meeting.)

Daniel said, “All I want is your simple ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ Then I’ll know what I have to do.”

Victor asked Daniel if he, as one claiming to be a representative of Jesus Christ, believed Jesus would respond as he was doing with us. Daniel replied, “I don’t want to get into theological discussion; I’m simply asking you to remove the post, which was a private conversation.”

When Victor later asked him about this again, Daniel turned the question on Victor, asking if Jesus would do to a brother what we were doing to him. Victor asked him to answer his question first, seeing he asked it first, and then Victor would answer. Daniel refused. He became upset instead, again thinly veiling a threat of lawsuit.

Paul began to say that this wasn’t a private matter as Daniel claimed, but Daniel cut him off and said he didn’t know Paul and refused to talk to him. Victor asked him if Jesus would treat the Pharisees as Daniel was treating us, but the truth was, Daniel wouldn’t talk to Victor, either. He refused to answer this question or others, such as, “If you are a false teacher or prophet, do we not have the right and duty to call you one and expose you to the otherwise unsuspecting public?”

Daniel refused to engage in any discussion of the substantive matters at hand, but with each question we asked, he became more frustrated and angry.

Daniel finally demanded a “Yes” or “No” on whether we would remove the post. Victor tried to answer two or three times, but Daniel interrupted and wouldn’t give him a chance. We knew we were getting nowhere because dealing with an unrepentant phony.

Victor then said to Daniel, “I now speak to you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You are a false teacher, a phony, and I’m exposing you. My answer to your request at this point is an unequivocal ‘NO.’”

(When Victor told him he was a phony, Daniel became enraged, shouting and demanding we stop calling him a phony. He was beside himself with that declaration.)

Victor finally said we would continue to consider his request before the Lord in the days to come. We had already told Daniel that we weren’t the least interested in doing what we wanted, or in simply conceding to what he wanted, but only in doing what the Lord wanted. By His grace, so it is.

And that’s why we’re here right now, publishing these things as more of His testimony against a corrupt imposter and wicked generation that seeks to have their ears tickled.

As God is our witness, there is nothing in anything we say that constitutes slander, gossip, or malicious intent towards anyone, Daniel foremost. Daniel Zopoula has spoken what he believes he has from the Lord to Victor Hafichuk, and Victor has no problem sharing that with the world, along with what the Lord has given him about Daniel Zopoula and his public ministry. Let the world see and know with whom the Lord stands. Amen.

Summary of our meeting with Daniel Zopoula on December 11, 2014:

“For such ones are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. Did not even Satan marvelously transform himself into an angel of light? Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works” (2 Corinthians 11:13-15 MKJV).

“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who secretly will bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master Who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their pernicious ways, and because of them the way of truth will be evil spoken of. And through covetousness they will use you for gain with well-turned words; for whom judgment from of old does not linger, and their destruction does not sleep” (2 Peter 2:1-3 MKJV).

James Sorochan, our friend and brother in the Lord, invited Daniel to meet with us at his house while Paul was visiting in Lethbridge, as mentioned in the last posting. So on Thursday, December 11, 2104, we met with Daniel Zopoula and two of his associates, journalist Bill Axtell and Donny Sorochan, James’ brother. Also in attendance were Marilyn and Jonathan Hafichuk, Sara Schmidt, and Igor Palkoci.

The meeting lasted only 45 minutes because Daniel had an upcoming TV interview about how Christmas is celebrated by different peoples (he is from Burkina Faso, Africa).

Victor asked if anyone would like to begin, and Daniel said, “You have something good to say to me, brother!”

We assumed Daniel was expecting or hoping that Victor would announce the removal of this posting. Daniel had announced a week deadline during our phone call outlined in the last segment, and this was the last day. He now also told us it happened to be his birthday.

Victor had no response about “something good to say.” Paul asked if they knew how we celebrated Christmas (the subject of Daniel’s upcoming interview).

Donny ventured that perhaps we had some kind of feast, as we might on other days like Easter. Paul answered that we don’t celebrate Christmas at all and added that one doesn’t find any celebrations of birthdays by believers in the Scriptures. Because of his Jewish background, Paul said he didn’t have a custom of keeping Christmas, so when he came to believe in the Lord and Christmas came around, he didn’t feel compelled to keep it. He realized it had nothing to do with Jesus Christ and wasn’t to be observed.

Daniel said that his people were “African- or Afro-Semitic,” alluding to the idea that they had similar customs as the Jews. This was an apparent attempt at ecumenism – unity at any cost. He told us his family was pagan and converted to Islam, and then he to Catholicism through a missionary. It’s still all paganism, only some with higher pretensions.

Related to the ecumenical pitch, Bill told us he was Daniel’s editor for a book about unity centered on what the Lord said in John 17. He also said everyone hears the voice of God, which is an agreeable thing to say when promoting unity.

Daniel said that in his country, his day of birth wasn’t recorded, so when he came to Canada, he was asked to choose a birthday for the immigration papers. He chose “Saint Daniel’s Day,” December 11th.

We now note that this isn’t Daniel the prophet’s feast day, but Daniel the Stylite, a 5th century monk. In other words, Daniel chose the celebratory day, not of an authentic saint (not that authentic saints have such days – they most certainly don’t), but the day of a representative of the Orthodox and Catholic churches. Daniel reported this as if something special. Apparently he is still Catholic, if not in name, then in spirit promoting a homogenous and confusing blend of man’s religion and celebrating his birthday as that of a Catholic “saint”!

Victor and Paul brought up the cross. Daniel said he’d like to have a discussion on what the cross means in 2015. They had seen Daniel start when the cross was mentioned, confounded within because he didn’t know what the cross is. He tried to cover over by speaking as if he knew what he was talking about.

Daniel spoke of the cross in terms of how customs change with the times. He said he believed in all 613 laws in the Old Testament, but wanted to talk about the application today. He brought up the example of Abraham having three wives (not sure what he was referring to, as Abraham only had one wife and a concubine for a time) and of Abraham lying about Sarah being his wife, saying he, Daniel, wouldn’t have lied like that.

By saying this, it was clear to those who believed that Daniel didn’t have a clue about his own nature. He tried to tie things in culturally, saying we don’t have multiple wives today, but that was beside the point. As for Abraham’s lie, we have all been afraid and haven’t trusted the Lord during our spiritual journeys, to our great regret and sorrow. It’s impossible for a child of faith who has been through the fires with God to speak glibly of trusting in himself to do a certain thing, and if you hear a supposed minister speaking this way, run as fast and as far from him as you’re able!

Truly, unless Daniel Zopoula repents, there will soon come to be some rather embarrassed and sorry people who have trusted him. Thus says the Lord.

During the time Daniel talked about his cultural background, he mentioned coming from a tribe of storytellers, to which Donny Sorochan jokingly interjected, “He’s still a storyteller!” Daniel guffawed awkwardly, perhaps abashed because what Donny said was true. In the vernacular, Daniel is a bull-shitter.

Victor told Daniel that the application of the cross hasn’t changed. It isn’t about times or customs. Paul said that the cross is where we lose our lives, as Abraham did with Isaac according to God’s commandment. If you don’t honor God’s Laws, then you aren’t honoring Him and won’t hear from Him (tying in with “everyone hearing from God”). And if you don’t hear from Him, you won’t know the cross, which requires His personal commandment to you.

As an example of honoring God and His Laws, Paul said poisoning the earth in food production was a form of killing. Daniel laughed, recounting that Victor had said he (Daniel) was “serving death” with non-organic food at the church picnic when they first met. Victor said that this was a very serious matter and that Satan as prince of this world destroys people in various ways.

Daniel grew antsy as the discussion progressed. He had another appointment coming up and kept looking at his mobile device. He also didn’t like it that Bill was talking a fair bit, without any apparent care for Daniel’s agenda. We never got to the subject of Daniel’s posting on our site.

Donny, however, seemed ready for more. He said, “This is just the start. We can continue this.”

As they readied to leave, Daniel gave Victor a hug and said, “I love you, brother.”

As they were driving away, Jonathan asked, “Who’s driving the Cadillac Escalade? Someone must have a few dollars.” It was Daniel. Was that his car? Likely. Is there a law of God against having an expensive car? No. But should the CEO of Bridges of Hope, who advertises himself as helping non-profits help the poor nations of Africa and the world, be driving around in such a vehicle?

What does that say to the poor Daniel is supposedly helping? What does it say to all those he asks to contribute? Where is the money really going?

Daniel, you are there for the money, not the people or the Lord. You are a phony, as you’ve been told, and your only hope is to repent and forsake your deceitful works. To show the people you mean business as you dismantle your works, you could begin by donating your car to those you’re using to make yourself a big shot living the high life.

Victor wrote to Daniel on December 19 about a follow-up meeting, as it was made clear we weren’t finished talking (having barely begun):

Hi Daniel, Donny, and Bill,

We obviously didn’t get to the meat of the matter between us when meeting at James Sorochan’s a week ago yesterday, but I’d like for us to meet and complete what there is to be said.

Because you, Donny and Bill, were there for the first meeting, perhaps it would be good if you could be present again; however, we’ll take it as it comes.

Set a time as soon as possible, bring whom you will, and we’ll meet.

Victor Hafichuk

After no response, Victor wrote again on December 28:

Hi Daniel, Donny, and Bill,

It’s been 10 days since I wrote you all suggesting we complete the brief dialogue we had at James Sorochan’s home on December 11th.

This is a serious matter before God concerning all of you. Whether you intend to meet with me or not, let me know. If you don’t answer, I’ll take it as a “No” and will proceed to email you what needs to be said. However, I’d prefer to speak with you in person.

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ,

Victor Hafichuk

Daniel never responded about meeting with us. On January 12, 2015, we wrote here:

Daniel Zopoula, whether or not the Escalade is yours, you are a false teacher, a servant of the one going about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, posing in His Name as a devotee of the Lamb of God.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour…” (1 Peter 5:8 KJV).

You take His Name in vain, Daniel, and for that, you will not be held guiltless. Thus says the Lord.

We warn all at Miz City Church, but who will believe our report? Who will listen? We know there will be very few, if any. But that’s the way it is. Jesus said:

John 5:42-44 MKJV
(42) “But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you.
(43) I have come in My Father’s Name, and you do not receive Me. If another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.
(44) How can you believe, you who receive honor from one another and do not seek the honor that comes from God only?”

He’s faithful to sound the trumpet and to bring judgment to those who will not listen.

Victor Hafichuk and Paul Cohen

On January 24th, Daniel e-mailed us and complained about people not being able to directly respond to the correspondence on our website. We posted his letter on our forum in order to give everyone the opportunity to comment and we invited Daniel to participate.
