The Unreasonableness of Another Jesus, Another Gospel
The prominent salvation gospel being preached in the majority of nominal,
evangelical churches, be they denominational, non denominational, formal,
or informal, is a false and misleading one, slaying many in apparently
wonderful and pious ways. Though this gospel is referred to as the Good
News, it has none in it at all except presumably for those “chosen” few
who relish the thought of “coming up another way,” maintaining
possession of their lives and righteousnesses, rejecting the Lord’s
righteousness, the only righteousness of value, while feigning faith
and love, all in the Name of the Savior Jesus Christ.
Notice I said “Savior” and not “Lord.” I purpose
to point out that while they call Him “Lord,” they have no
desire or intention of believing on, loving, and serving Him as He is,
His way; none whatsoever. They only want the benefits of a dead hero
they can manage, receive or reject at will, albeit tacitly. Of such,
Jesus said:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ shall
enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in
Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy
in Your Name, and through Your Name throw out demons, and through Your
Name do many wonderful works? And then I will say to them I never knew
you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!” (Matthew 7:21-23
MKJV)
These preach another gospel:
“I marvel that you so soon are being moved away from Him Who called
you into the grace of Christ, to another gospel, which is not another,
but some are troubling you, and desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ” (Galatians
1:6-7 MKJV).
They preach another Jesus:
“But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in
his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the simplicity
that is in Christ. For if, indeed, the one coming proclaims another
Jesus,
whom we have not proclaimed, or if you receive another spirit, which
you did not receive, or another gospel, which you never accepted, you
might well endure these” (2 Corinthians 11:3-4 MKJV).
And what does the apostle Paul say of the one that preaches another
Jesus or another gospel?
“But even if we or an angel from Heaven preach a gospel to you
beside what we preached to you, let him be accursed” (Galatians
1:8 MKJV).
Paul included even himself and his own brethren in Christ in this oath.
The thoughts of those snared by the false gospel have been “corrupted
from the simplicity that is in Christ,” if indeed they ever once
had uncorruption. Their thoughts are contradictory, confused and unreasonable.
They may say they “accepted Christ” 10, 20, 30, or more years
ago, yet they are little or no wiser than before they were allegedly
converted to Christ. For example, they still believe they have a free
will, and, more importantly, think to have had one at the time they “accepted” Jesus
Christ by their own power and choice. So I ask them, “How is it
you had a free will if you were, as the Bible plainly puts it, a slave to sin? Does a slave have a free will?”
They reply, “Well, that is the corrupt flesh
part of us.”
So I ask, “What other part was there at the time of your decision?” If
they had not yet received Christ, how could they be anything but corrupt
flesh? And, if carnal, what would they choose? I point them to Paul’s
words to the Romans, wherein God plainly states what they would choose:
“As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no not one;
there is none that understands, there is none that seeks after
God.’ They
are all gone out of the way, they have together become unprofitable,
there is none that does good, no, not one” (Romans 3:10-12 MKJV).
As Jesus said to His disciples:
“You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you
that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should
remain; that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My Name, He may
give it to you” (John 15:16 MKJV).
He also said:
“No one can come to Me unless the Father Who has
sent Me draw him, and I will raise him up at the last day” (John
6:44 MKJV).
According to God, then, there is no part of us that “accepts” Him,
but He begins the work that He will complete:
“He Who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the
day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6 MKJV).
“Yes,” they reply, “but
we choose to accept Christ because the Holy Spirit convicts us.”
Then that is the grace God grants, is it not? Grace does not only grant
opportunity. It grants and causes that you will no longer choose the
evil but the good. However, it is not your doing, but God’s, for
that is exactly what grace is, as plainly declared in Scripture:
“For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves,
it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we
are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God
has before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:8-10
MKJV).
“Yes,” they argue, “but
when God gives that grace, you have to choose to receive it.”
They, therefore, attribute some kind of good to themselves, do they
not? It is a deceitful retention of their right to their person, is it
not? The false gospel deceptively empowers and glorifies man, who thinks
to declare some form or degree of virtue or righteousness, however minute,
which qualifies him for salvation. “I accepted Christ. I repented.
I made a choice. Look at my angelic countenance! I am now of the tiny
minority who will go to Heaven, while everyone else perishes for all
eternity because they were not smart enough, right enough, willing enough,
good enough, humble enough, or fast enough to repent and to accept Christ.”
God’s grace bears perfect fruit every time. That fruit is knowing
and making the right choice. Does not the sin nature make one to choose
the wrong every time? Can it do otherwise? “Can a leopard change
its spots?” Did not every man fall by sin? But God’s grace
is more than ample to counter:
“Therefore as by one offense sentence came on all men to condemnation,
even so by the righteousness of One the free gift came to all men to
justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were
made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous.
But the Law entered so that the offense might abound. But where
sin abounded, grace did much more abound, so that as sin has reigned to death, even
so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life by Jesus Christ
our Lord” (Romans 5:18-21 MKJV).
One granted the grace will no longer choose the wrong but the right.
Without that grace, he or she will ever choose the wrong, the evil, and
the wicked thing to think, say or do. Paul said:
“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwells no good thing.
For to will is present with me, but how to perform that which is good
I do not find” (Romans 7:18 MKJV).
Therefore, even if one wanted to choose right, they cannot perform it.
What kind of free will is that? If language means anything and is meant
to be understood, this is not free will.
While we may have the freedom to choose, we do not have the freedom
to do. A man may choose to leave his prison but if he is held in chains
behind bars in a secure, stone dungeon, with astute guards watching,
what freedom does he have to leave? He is a prisoner against his will.
Why do we have the freedom to choose but not to do? So that we can know
that we have no free will. So that we learn that the branch can never
be independent of the Vine. So that we can know that Jesus is Lord. Only
by being given desire and choice and the opportunity to try to exercise
that choice can we ever fully realize that we cannot achieve what we
want or avoid what we do not want in our own power. Those that achieve
their goals (believers or otherwise) do not realize or acknowledge that
it was the grace of God granted them, even as in Nebuchadnezzar’s
case:
“They shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with
the animals of the field, and they shall make you eat grass like oxen.
And they shall wet you with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall
pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom
of men, and gives it to whomever He will” (Daniel 4:25 MKJV – read
the entire chapter).
The wisest man that ever lived said this:
“We make our own plans, but the LORD decides where we will go” (Proverbs
16:9 CEV).
Free will? I don’t think so!
Do we want to do right? In Romans 3, Paul has plainly stated otherwise.
He also said to the Philippians:
“For it is God Who works in you both to will and to do of His
good pleasure”
(Philippians 2:13 MKJV).
So much for man’s ability to choose to “accept Christ,” which
leads us to conclude that no man can do it, even as Jesus solemnly declared:
“And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through
the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of
God. When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying,
Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With
men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” (Matthew
19:24-26 KJV).
The rich young ruler, a devout, religious man, asked the Lord what he
must do to be saved (See Matthew 19:16-26). When Jesus told him, he went
away sad. The man of whom this passage speaks was not able to choose the right. He thought he was ready to do but was unable to even choose.
This happened so that he would be humbled before God. He needed to know
he did not have a free will. Until then, he could boast, saying, “All
the commandments have I kept from my youth.” The truth is that
no man can keep the commandments, even if he wants to, and he does not
want to. On that point the Scriptures are crystal clear.
The false gospel tells us to fear the fire that lasts forever. It promotes
fear, not of God, but of hell and everlasting torment. Is that the love
of God? “Believe or burn”? “Repent or roast”? “Do
or die”? Is their god a fearmonger? They call it a warning, but
isn’t it rather a threat?
The Bible tells us “the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever” (Psalm
19:9). It is apparent we speak of two different gods and two different
fears, one clean, ministering life, and one crippling and tormenting,
inflicting death. How many are the “conversions to Christ” I
have heard wherein people testified they “accepted Christ” because
they did not want to spend eternity in hell.
“So,” I say, “if you choose to ‘accept Christ,’ you
are, therefore, able to claim some form of virtue or goodness or rightness,
and say, ‘I chose Christ; I did the right thing - but all those
friends and family I had didn’t accept Christ in this lifetime,
so they will all burn in hell forever.’
“What kind of god are you promoting? Tell me: If your children
did not acknowledge you as their parent, would you be prepared to send
them to a torment for all time without end, holding them to a body that
can experience complete pain, yet never perish, and leave them with unimaginable
torment forever and ever? Would you so much as hold a lit match to your
child’s finger for five seconds? Did you know that pain was created
and given not as a punishment but as a warning, as an indicator that
something is wrong? That is what pain is all about. But your gospel says
that pain is an end in itself. You believe that Jesus is a liar when
He says, ‘I am the Omega.’ You believe Pain and Regret are
the omega, the last, the end, at least for most. Therefore, after a trillion
years of horrible suffering, those in your concocted hell will not be
done or paroled but will have only begun their sentence. Would you be
willing to do that to your children?”
Reader, this diabolical doctrine is the machination of an evil mind
seeking to control people with the worst fear possible. That is all it
is. Such an abomination never entered God’s mind.
What did Jesus say of His Father? This is the love of God, so unlike
the one these people preach and believe:
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your
children, how much more shall your Father which is in Heaven give good
things to them that ask Him?” (Matthew 7:11 KJV)
The True Gospel says you are evil and God is good. The True Gospel says “how
much more” than you would God do good, but the false gospel says
you would do good while He would do evil. The false gospel says you are
good and God is evil. The diabolical gospel says, “I would not
or could not send my children to hell to torture them forever and ever
without end, but God can, would, and will because He is a just God.” How
horrid is this “Jesus,” and his justice diabolical!
They reply, in defense of their monster, pagan god, “God
is a just God. We can’t question His ways. He knows best.”
I ask, “How long have you been a believer? Ten, twenty, thirty
years? And you still have a different idea of justice than God’s?
It is written:
“‘For let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus…’ (Philippians
2:5 MKJV).
“And:
“‘I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God
to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which
is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but
be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove
by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God’ (Romans
12:1-2 MKJV).
“So,” I say, “subjecting your children to unimaginable
torment forever is not your idea of justice (or is it?), yet you claim
it is God’s. There is something terribly wrong with you, who have
refused to have His mind, and wrong with your god, who made you to accept
a justice that is anything but true justice, something even nature itself
- all of God’s creation - cries against, it being so abominable
that even the atheist may cringe at the thought of it.”
God calls men to not only understand justice, but also to
do justly:
“No, the LORD has told us what is good. What He requires of us
is this: to do what is just, to show constant love, and to live in humble
fellowship with our God” (Micah 6:8 GNB).
Is not justice one of the primary, basic concepts of true Christianity,
the way of those who genuinely know Him? Of course, it is! How, then,
do they say that their idea of justice is not His? His Law spells out
justice. His Law is also eternal, and, therefore, it never changes. That
is because it is a reflection of Him, the Just One. Those who know Him
know His ways, and are given to apply them:
“Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? And if
the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest
matters?” (1 Corinthians 6:2 MKJV)
Have I not shown you that men’s understanding of righteousness
is perverse, and their sense of justice too? And how can they possibly
say they have love if they think it justified (formed in justice) to
send their children to fearful, eternal torment (or agree with a god
that would do so) simply because they have not acknowledged them as their
parents?
I ask, “Do you cry out for capital punishment for petty thieves?
No? Yet you would relegate someone to eternal flames, or think God would
do so, if he or she did not ‘accept Christ’ in this lifetime,
even if he or she had never heard of Him, according to what you have
been taught!
“This is not the Good News you preach. It is the Evil News. It
is the news that Satan brings forth by another proud and vindictive angel,
by ignorant, corrupt ministers who have never known Him, by fearmongers
who seek power over you. The Bible teaches no such lies, but liars and
those who believe lies read those lies into the Bible, and we can and
do prove to you that the Bible does not teach them. They never entered
God’s mind.”
“Are you saying that everybody is going
to be saved?” they
ask with incredulity.
My answer is a resounding, Scriptural one:
“‘For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall
all be made alive’ (1 Corinthians 15:22 KJV).
“‘Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon
all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of One the free
gift came upon all men unto justification of life’ (Romans 5:18
KJV).”
“Well,” they retort, “if
everybody’s going to
be saved, what’s the use of preaching the Gospel?”
Certainly there is no use in preaching man’s gospel of fear, doom,
and pain. The True Gospel is the Good News. If an army was approaching
your city or home, that army being reputed to be unstoppable and totally
without mercy, slaughtering everybody in its path, and you were defenseless,
waiting in dread and expecting the worst, and someone came to you announcing
that the army was suddenly destroyed by an unexpected savior, would that
not be welcome news? Would you not want to know it, the sooner the better?
Or would you hate to receive such news, having believed that only a very
small percentage of your town would be spared, primarily you and your
church? Would you shoot the messenger or receive him with open arms?
We are here to tell you the Good News because it is Good News, not just
for you but for the whole town! Yet these people hate us for proclaiming
it.
Some will say, “If everybody is going to
be saved anyway, then why should I bother being good? I may as well
just go have a good time
and do as I please!”
My reply, “‘Have a good time and do as you please’?
You give yourself away! Are you not telling me you have never known true
repentance, that doing His will is not what pleases you?” That’s
it, isn’t it? They are telling me that they have never known or
loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Their conversions have been their own doings,
perhaps to save themselves from hell or to please others. They aren’t
real. These people have never been washed in His blood; they are still
in their sins. It’s been a whitewash job. They aren’t serving
Him because they want to, out of a new nature; they are grudgingly being “Christian,” not
to do the Lord’s will but to do their own. Isn’t that so?
They may not like the arrangement, but, “hey, it’s better
than burning in hell for all eternity, isn’t it?”
This is not the salvation of God. You need to know that real salvation
of the soul is by a real (not theoretical or theological) death and burial
within, to be surely followed by a real (not theoretical or theological)
resurrection within.
Still others say, “Wow, I am excited! Since
becoming a Christian, I have happiness and joy I have never known!
Being a Christian isn’t
boring or drab at all! Christians can have fun too. We have a great time
at our church. Our pastor and his wife are great people, and our youth
leader is great with our kids. Come to church this Sunday. You’ll
love it!”
Beware the deceitful fruit of Mystery, Babylon the Great’s gospel.
She brings them in with an overwhelming friendship and love. She brings
them in not by the crucifixion of the flesh but by another way, cunningly
and skillfully bypassing the Ticketmaster. (“Salvation is free,
isn’t it?” she asks, imposing her interpretation on the Scriptures
of Isaiah 55:1 and 2. “Forget the throes,” she also says, “the
throne will do.”) They purpose to pass right by the cross and go
straight to the crown. The Lord has described this very possibility and
actuality by parable:
Matthew 22:2-10 MKJV
(2) The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king who made a marriage
for his son.
(3) And he sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the
wedding; and they would not come.
(4) Again he sent out other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited,
Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatlings are killed, and
all things are ready. Come to the marriage.
(5) But not caring, they went their ways, one to his field, another to
his trading.
(6) And the rest took his servants and treated them spitefully, and killed
them.
(7) But when the king heard, he was angry. And he sent out his armies
and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
(8) Then he said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they who
were invited were not worthy.
(9) Therefore go into the exits of the highways, and as many as you shall
find, invite them to the marriage.
(10) So the servants went out into the highways and gathered together
as many as they found, both bad and good. And the wedding was filled
with reclining guests.
Continuing: “And the king coming in to look over the guests, he
saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. And he said to
him, Friend, how did you come in here without having a wedding
garment? And he was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand
and foot and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness. There shall
be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few
chosen” (Matthew
22:11-14 MKJV).
Don’t get me wrong. There is a definite joy and peace when one
first experiences salvation, starting with repentance. God is found to
be there and very real. The burdens of sin and of guilt are removed.
The Way of Life opens up before one. There is a new lease on life. The
Bible miraculously becomes a new, living book that could not be appreciated
or understood theretofore. Things and people of God are suddenly appreciated
rather than shunned and despised. It is an exciting, refreshing, revolutionary
awakening indeed. Consider Zacchaeus, for a good example (Luke 19). He
was overjoyed when he believed.
But if his conversion was true, born out of real faith (and it was),
he also knew it was not about pleasure, entertainment, social benefit,
and ease. (This was demonstrated by his giving of repayment to those
defrauded.) Consider the rich young ruler. He could not come in as a
hero. He could not come in on his own merits, whether physical or spiritual.
Those do not count in the Kingdom of Heaven. He could not sign a membership
and join as he pleased. The disciples could not receive him because of
who he was or what he could do. It was a heart issue, a matter of a reversing
change within. There was a price to pay, that being his life, and, when
he came to realize it, he could not pay it.
You see, he heard the True Gospel. He was confronted with the cross,
and that cross would cost him his life. He was not “loved” into
the Kingdom as men love potential converts by the false gospel, though
he was loved in that he was told exactly how he could enter into life – that
is the true love. Though he fell at the Lord’s feet, showing all
sincerity and zeal (when have you ever fallen at someone’s feet
seeking salvation?), he was not received “just as I am,” as
the popular hymn goes, with open arms. A price was required.
Yes, salvation is free but it will cost you your life and everything
in it:
“And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy
of Me. He who finds his life shall lose it. And he who loses his life
for My sake shall find it” (Matthew 10:38-39 MKJV).
Mystery speaks truth in the letter, and she is magnificently impressive
and highly attractive, but her ways are devious, and her deception powerful.
What she does not tell you is that it will cost your spiritual life if
you enter her (Proverbs 7). Jesus, however, was talking about losing
the carnal life. While He gives you a new life for the old, Mystery preserves
and dresses up the old, which is what these religious, in their carnal
man (the flesh), have chosen, or they would run from her instead of allowing
themselves to be entertained, flattered, praised, and pampered. Read
Mystery.
“Well then,” they persist, “if
everybody’s going
to be saved, what was the point of Jesus dying on the cross?”
That is a naïve and revealing question. It assumes that while a
minority needs a sacrifice, the majority or totality does not. Perhaps
it assumes that one must have a rare virtue, unlike most, in order to
benefit from Christ’s sacrifice, that Christ died only for the
deserving. They seem to believe that the physician only comes for the
less ill ones. The fact is that all men are deathly ill and all need
Him equally. He died for the whole world, as the Scriptures declare:
“For God has shut up all in unbelief, so that He might show mercy
to all” (Romans 11:32 MKJV).
The answer to the question is a simple, logical, reasonable, and Scriptural
one. He died on the cross so that all would be saved. He did not die
just for a select few. His blood is far more precious and far more efficacious
than they give it credit for. He is a much bigger winner than they give
Him credit for. When He wins, He wins big time, indeed, perfectly, or
He is not worthy of the worship He demands and which He declares Himself
worthy of. If He decides to save someone, He does not fail or do a second-rate
job of it. Contrary to the proud notions of so many self-righteous, He
has indeed, from the very beginning, purposed to save everyone. And what
or who can withstand His will?
He is not the loser that is left with mere scraps for His efforts. He
paid the full price for all the goods and rightly deserves and expects
full satisfaction. He will not be cheated out of them, not by the cheater,
not by anyone or anything, because He is Lord, and it is all His doing:
“And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him
to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be
things in earth, or things in Heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated
and enemies in your mind by wicked works [Does this sound like
you accepted Him?], yet now has He reconciled in the body of His flesh through death,
to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight” (Colossians
1:20-22 KJV).
Tell me, when one pays $1,000 for goods and receives only $10 worth,
while some thief takes the rest, how would he or she feel? Would they
be satisfied? Reason, person, reason! “Come and let us reason together,” says
the Lord.
I say to the religious, “Stop perverting the Scriptures, blaspheming
against God, misrepresenting Him, and causing others to blaspheme against
Him.”
These people then ask, “Are you telling
me that God is going to save Satan and his devils too?”
This is an inevitable and inescapable question. If the Bible says that
Jesus will reconcile all things unto Himself (and it does), then, obviously,
our attention must include the question of the fate of the prince of
darkness, the arch liar, thief, tempter, destroyer and murderer.
The answer is quite simple. Of course, a sinner does not remain a sinner
when transformed by God’s grace, and we know that many wicked people
have been transformed. Was not Saul of Tarsus a blasphemer and murderer?
He called himself the chief of sinners. Would he have been permitted
into the fellowship of saints in Heaven before reconciliation? Was he
any better than Satan? Was not Zacchaeus a thief? Was he any better than
Satan?
I say, “Tell me, you who trust in your own righteousness, would
you refuse a repentant, redeemed Hitler, or do you not think God could
ever redeem him? Would you deny him the grace of God? Is grace only for ‘good’ people?” I
have learned from the Scriptures by the Lord that a physician is for
the sick, not the well, and grace is for the bad, the undeserving, and
not the good.
Cow, sheep, goat, or chicken dung stinks and defiles. One must wash
off his shoes if he steps in it. Yet this same dung, the Lord says, is
composted and made to fertilize plants, which plants are nourished and
then able to produce food for us by virtue of the nutrient value of the
manure. In other words, one ultimately eats the dung, after processes
set in order by the Creator have transformed it, removing or restituting
that which defiles. Whereas we would not want dung anywhere on us, now
we gladly take it into our very mouths in the form of an apple, strawberry
or potato. God is able to restore.
When a forest burns, it is gone - or is it? The elements that once made
the trees and bushes of the forest are not annihilated, but separated,
rearranged and dispersed into the ground and into the atmosphere to begin
a new process all over again.
So with wicked men and so with all things. God destroys the evil and
transforms all things found wanting into goodness and things necessary
for His glory. It is recorded that Satan is cast into the lake of fire
and brimstone. The lake of fire is a place or process of cleansing and
purification. God is a consuming fire, destroying the impurities. As
He baptizes or immerses a man in the Holy Spirit and fire, so He processes
all things that have necessity of purification. Brimstone, by the way,
is sulphur, used as a purifying, not a tormenting, agent.
I say, “Tell me, you that believe a false gospel: Are you better
than Hitler or Satan? Have you not done evil? Do you not allow that any
amount of evil defiles and is unacceptable to God, and that it condemns
us to separation from Him? And if grace abounds wherever sin is greater,
what is the problem? Can God, Who created all things, not save to the
uttermost? Can He reconcile all things to Himself or can He not? If you
doubt it, you do not believe what He has plainly declared. Effectually,
you call Him a liar. That is what Satan’s gospel is doing to you.”
Just as these people (and everyone) need salvation from believing and
telling lies, so does Satan. They are no different. How are wicked men
defeated in their lies? They are defeated when the Truth is spoken. That
is why the Truth took on flesh and manifest Himself to us. How is a person
saved? By hearing and believing the truth through God’s grace.
How is darkness dispelled? It cannot change itself; it can only be dispelled
by light. How is the prince of darkness defeated or corrected? He is
defeated when we speak the Truth, which is the Light.
The blood in which these believe and which they preach is watered down,
perhaps 100 to 1, and is worthless in any veins. The blood portion is
that of a foreign creature, and the water in the dilution isn’t
even filtered; it is polluted with every silly and vile notion imaginable.
If one were in need of a transfusion, should they accept that blood?
I say to these religious, “Dump your god! He is not worth it! You
blaspheme the Creator God, the True Lord Jesus Christ, with your false
gospel and notions. You need to believe and repent.”
The Prince of Hirelings
“But Billy Graham teaches everlasting hell!” they argue.
“Why is it right because Billy Graham teaches it?” I ask.
“Well,” they reply, “Billy
Graham is a true man of God. He preaches Christ!”
I ask, “Which christ does he preach? Do the Scriptures not warn
you of such persons? Hear what Paul said to the Corinthians:
‘For such ones are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming
themselves into the apostles of Christ. Did not even Satan marvelously
transform himself into an angel of light? Therefore it is no great thing
if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness,
whose end shall be according to their works’ (2 Corinthians 11:13-15
MKJV).”
“But,” you argue, “Billy
isn’t deceitful! He
is so sincere and humble.”
I say, “How do you know? Who made you to trust your judgment?
What makes you think you are not deceived? I have already proven you
are deceived. When Satan comes to deceive, are you so foolish as to think
he will present himself deceitful and proud, rather than sincere and
humble? Have you not set yourself up as judge?”
If these people are so foolish as to believe the lies we have already
pointed out to them, what makes them so confident that they are not deceived?
I will put it bluntly: Billy Graham is not sincere and he is anything
but humble. His followers are deceived; he has deceived them and we can
prove it. He preaches lies. No man that preaches lies has true godly
humility. We are talking a mix of oil and water here. If he is not speaking
the Truth, which Christ is, then he is speaking lies. If he is speaking
lies, then he is one of those described in Romans chapter 3. If he is
one of those, then his feet are swift to shed blood and the venom of
asps is under his lips. Does that sound sincere and humble? But they
have made Billy Graham their god, along with their other gods.
Their problem is that they prefer to believe appearances, whereas Jesus
says:
“Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment” (John
7:24 KJV).
But how can someone possibly judge righteous judgment if they depend
on their own righteousness, not believing the Scriptures? How can they
judge with clear judgment and understanding if they prefer man’s
interpretations of the Scriptures to what the Scriptures really teach?
How can they possibly know what is true if they judge the Bible by what
men teach rather than judge what men teach by the Bible?
I ask, “Did you know that Billy Graham does not believe that the
baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts are for today? If he does not
believe in the Spirit of Christ, how can he be His true servant?”
They reply, “Billy does believe in the gifts.
He just doesn’t
talk about them because he wants to stay away from controversy.”
Oh, so controversy is automatically bad? They killed the prophets, John
the Baptist, the apostles and thousands of believers, and crucified the
Christ. Why - because they weren’t controversial? Was it foolish
of Paul and other ministers to speak of the gifts of the Spirit? Indeed,
he urged believers thus:
“But zealously strive after the better gifts. And yet I show to
you a more excellent way” (1 Corinthians 12:31 MKJV).
“Follow after love, and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but
especially that you may prophesy” (1 Corinthians 14:1 HNV).
Is not the true gospel controversial? Of course, it is, and that is
why Billy Graham does not preach it. He shuns controversy. He shuns the
cross, which is controversial above all things one will ever find in
this world:
“Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching that circumcision
is necessary, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the
cross wouldn’t be offensive anymore” (Galatians 5:11 GW).
“Those who have the desire to seem important in the flesh, put
force on you to undergo circumcision; only that they may not
be attacked because of the cross of Christ” (Galatians 6:12 BBE).
These religious should know for themselves that the false gospel is
not controversial; it pleases men; that is why Billy Graham preaches
it and that is why he is famous and very popular. Here is what the Lord
said of such men:
“Unhappy are you when all men give you their approval: for so
their fathers did to the false prophets” (Luke 6:26 BBE).
And:
“And He said, You take care to seem right in the eyes of men,
but God sees your hearts: and those things which are important in the
opinion of men, are evil in the eyes of God” (Luke 16:15 BBE).
Billy Graham does not speak of receiving the Holy Spirit and he does
not believe the gifts are for today. He has publicly said so; it is on
record. There is only one reason for that: He has never experienced the
Holy Spirit and the gifts. In other words, he has never known the Lord,
for the Lord is the Spirit. Yet Graham presumes to be a man of God, calling
himself an evangelist. How then can he possibly be sincere or humble?
No, Billy Graham has been one of the proudest men you will meet. Unlike
those who are blatantly proud, and unapologetic about it, Billy Graham
covers over his pride with false humility and piety. He is proud, and
if you were to ask him if he is so, what would he say? That he is proud?
Or would he say that he is humble?
Here is one of the reasons that these religious prefer to believe man’s
false gospel rather than God:
“For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God” (John
12:43 KJV).
What a mess they are making of their “free will,” choosing
to believe men’s lies rather than God’s truth! What a lie
they believe, thinking God is so foolish, so horribly incompetent that
He should lose the vast majority of those He made in His image to a hateful
loser, the destroyer, and still be called the Glorious Winner, God Omnipotent
and Omniscient! What blasphemy that they should assassinate His character
so that people would think He would send the vast majority of mankind,
which presumably He loves, to eternal excruciating pain, without a hint
of relief, ever!
All of His creation teaches otherwise, but these people believe lies,
contrary to all nature and knowledge. They believe another gospel; they
serve another Jesus, a loser they call a winner (they also call the Winner
a loser and pretentiously praise Him with their lips).
Tell me: Would you, the reader, send a poker player into a casino to
win on your behalf if he was known to be so pitifully successful in his
winnings, taking such a small portion of the pot while his opponents
get the lion’s share?
Their thoughts and ways are perverse. That is why they talk but don’t
walk. That is why they believe all kinds of lies and indulge in all sorts
of lusts of the flesh, pleasures of this world, and religious activities
that have nothing to do with Him, though they think they have everything
to do with Him. That is why they celebrate pagan holidays. And those
things are destroying all those who partake of such.
I say, “You, my friend, have believed lies and walk in lies because
you have never been honest with yourself. You prefer a whitewashed image
of yourself. You prefer an Egyptian embalming of your corpse, your carnal
man, to the resurrection of Christ. You serve the prince of darkness
and death and not the Prince of peace and life, the Light of all men.”
These people say they celebrate the birth of Christ.
I reply, “How so? What is the date? Why, if God wanted you to
celebrate His birthday, has He not made known the date? Do you celebrate
anyone else’s birthday on just any day you please? If it would
be wrong or foolish to do so, how much more would it be so with the Lord’s
birthday (if birthdays are to be celebrated in the first place – and
they aren’t)!
“Did you not know that December 25th is the date of the birth
of the sun god, occurring at the winter solstice? How is it that the
world has no use for Truth, yet loves and celebrates Christmas? How is
it that the world has nothing to do with God, yet loves His alleged birthday?
How is it you love what the world loves and what God hates? Something
does not make sense here, don’t you think?
“No, you worship another Jesus and preach another gospel. You
have never known the True God. You are deceived and need to repent. Repenting,
He will reveal Himself to you and deliver you from the wide, impressive
gate and broad, paved way; He will put you on the straight and narrow.
He will strip you of lies and begin to bring light into your wretched
life, which you call the saved, Christian life. He will take you to the
cross, reveal Himself, remove your perverse, religious doctrines and
pleasures, take you off the road of death and hell, which is called “Orthodox
Christianity,” and plant you on the path of truth and of life.
From thereon, you will be known as a cult, as were He and His disciples
in the days of His flesh.
“When this happens, you will be hated by all men for His sake,
and persecuted. The Bible says that all those that live godly in Christ
Jesus shall suffer persecution (2 Timothy 3:12). When is the last time
you suffered wrong for His Name’s sake? If that is not the reality
in your life, you are certainly serving another god. Believing, you will
be hated, despised and ostracized by your family and friends, not because
of your religiosity, but because He will manifest Himself in your life.
Your faith of, and obedience to, the Lord Jesus Christ will provoke the
world’s contempt and wrath because it hates Him. Until then, you
get along quite well with the world. Is that not so?”
Right now, these are possibly church members in good standing, or people
that rest in the notion they are “saved” and going to Heaven
when they die.
Let me say something: If one thinks in terms of going to Heaven when
one dies, he or she are dead now and has nothing to do with the Lord.
Those who truly know Him, being vessels in which He has taken up residence,
know that they are seated in heavenly places with Him, according to the
Scriptures:
“...and has raised us up together and made us sit together in
the heavenlies in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6 MKJV).
They know, therefore, that they are already in Heaven, even as the Forerunner
declared of Himself:
“No one has ascended into Heaven, but he who descended out of
Heaven, the Son of Man, who is in Heaven” (John 3:13 HNV).
Does Heaven contain Him or does He contain Heaven? When building and
dedicating the Temple, King Solomon said:
“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heavens and
the Heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this house which
I have built” (1 Kings 8:27 MKJV).
He is Heaven. When He dwells within, so does Heaven. I know I am in
Heaven because He is in me and I in Him. I know Him, Who leads and gives
me to speak to you. When the religious say, “I know I am going
to Heaven when I die,” they reveal by those words that they are
not saved, that they do not know the Lord, and that they have been duped
by the false gospel, the easy way, the bloodless, crossless counterfeit,
which only claims the blood and the cross, but is altogether void of
substance.
They have passed through the wide gate, which banner over it says, “The
True Way!” They have taken the popular road of millions, the road
that is paved with beauty and appeal to the flesh, the road of the deceived.
The gate of the True Way is the cross, dreadfully shunned by the carnal
man, the citizen of this world. It stands as a guillotine, ready to take
off your head as you pass through, which it must do (the carnal mind
is at enmity with God – Romans 8:7-8). The sign over the narrow
gate says, “You must die to enter.” All must pass through
the flaming sword to re-enter the Garden of Eden. The religious have
despised the cross, except for the golden one they wear around their
necks, which declares that they are rebels, blatantly repudiating, along
with the other nine, the second commandment of God, which says, “You
shall not make to yourself any graven image....” Read Religious
Images, Icons, and Likenesses.
Honoring Man and the Sun God
These say they keep Sunday, a day instituted by man (Constantine, the
pagan emperor, who instituted the “Holy,” Roman, Catholic Church),
because they say they are not under the Law. I keep the Sabbath, and,
because I honor His Law rather than man’s, they say I am offending
God. So keeping man’s law, they are under grace, but I, who establish
God’s Law (Romans 3:31), am condemned. I ask, “Can you not
see, victim and perpetrator of a false gospel, how perverse your doctrine
and representation of Jesus Christ is? Can you not see your error?”
“But,” they argue, repeating the old, wily, concocted excuse, “we
now keep Sunday because Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday.”
So? Who decided to change what Jesus said was the unchangeable Law?
Where in Scripture does it say the Law changed? Nowhere.
“And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear
out the saints of the Most High, and plot to change times and laws. And
they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and one-half
time” (Daniel 7:25 MKJV).
But we speak the truth because God’s love and love of the Truth
compel us to do so for His sake, yours, theirs, and ours. They hate our
speaking so forthrightly, yet they cannot deny that while what we say
makes perfect sense, according to the Word of God and His judgment, their
doctrines and notions make no sense at all. On the contrary, they are
full of blasphemy and all contradiction. However, until they repent,
their doctrine is wisdom to them, while ours is foolishness.
Now if one has no free will and cannot choose rightly, as we say, what
then, you may ask, is the point of our preaching to you? The answer is
a simple one:
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish
foolishness;
but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written,
I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the
understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? Where is the scribe?
Where is the disputer of this world? Has not God made foolish the wisdom
of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom
knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching
to save them that believe” (1 Corinthians 1:18-21 KJV).
It is our job and our delight to preach the Good News. It is our great
pleasure to expose and to sweep away lies that hold people in darkness
and destruction. It is our joy to strip Satan of the power he holds over
the citizens of this world, and to wrest those wretched creatures out
of his dungeons. To see someone come to Life is one of the more rewarding
experiences of saints in this world. Angels in Heaven rejoice more over
one sinner that comes to repentance than over a hundred saved. It is
a tremendous joy to see a soul delivered from darkness into the Light,
no longer serving evil but good. And it is our great privilege to be
partakers of God’s rewards to those who serve Him according to
His will.
There is not a person on earth we would not want to see made free by
the Truth and faith in Christ, not so that we can have our own kingdoms
(if ours, they could not be composed of true converts to Christ), but
so that His Kingdom will reign supreme over all (and it shall), wherein
justice, righteousness and peace prevail.
