False
Teachers Exposed
“They’re a sorry bunch--pseudo-apostles,
lying preachers, crooked workers--posing as Christ’s agents but
sham to the core. And no wonder! Satan does it all the time, dressing
up as a beautiful angel of light. So it shouldn’t surprise us
when his servants masquerade as servants of God. But they’re not
getting by with anything. They’ll pay for it in the end” (2
Corinthians 11:13-15 MSG).
This list is not meant to be an exhaustive one. What is important
is that one learns to discern truth from error.
“Then you shall again see the difference between the
righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God, and him who does not
serve Him” (Malachi
3:18 MKJV).

list of false teachers.
What is a false teacher and how does one qualify for this
list?
No person rightfully takes upon himself the role of a teacher
or any other ministry of God without God’s power and authority. In a
world full of teachers, preachers, elders, deacons, speakers, writers, evangelists,
pastors, prophets, and apostles, rare are the true ministers representing
the Lord Jesus Christ. Many are the false, and very few the true, even as
in Noah’s day.
False teachers are those who presume to teach in their own authority
(as did the scribes), often in the Name of the Lord, when He
has not sent them. Though they have knowledge of Biblical truths,
they are, at best,
in delusion, presuming to turn others to the Kingdom of God
when, in fact, they are building the corrupt kingdoms of men. At worst,
they
are deliberate
charlatans, seeking to deceive, steal, kill, and destroy, using
Biblical truths to do so.
Though false teachers lead astray, the Biblical truths they
teach can lead to Christ those whom God has called and is
choosing. The truth quickens those being given the gift of faith. However,
faith manifest in
the one who receives the truth does not certify as God’s representative
the one who speaks some truth. The child of faith who walks in obedience
to Christ will soon enough part ways with those who mix truth with error.
This is God’s commandment:
“Therefore come out from among them and be separated,
says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you
and I will be
a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty” (2
Corinthians 6:17-18 MKJV).
False teachers mix the holy things of God with their carnal thoughts, creating
a false form of godliness. They can’t do otherwise, because they haven’t
taken up the cross and submitted themselves to Christ’s righteousness.
They are still in their sin nature, living unto themselves, teaching doctrines
and commandments of men.
And because false teachers haven’t submitted themselves to Christ’s
righteousness, they can’t lead others there. A false teacher is
one who may speak truth, yet points his hearers in another direction.
An
example of this would be that of a “Tijuana taxi,” or any
predator of tourists who says, “Yes, I know exactly where such-and-such
a place is, and I’ll take you there. On the way, I’ll tell you
all you want to know
about it. Please, get in.” Guess what? He gets you there after a half-hour drive, but didn’t
tell you it was only a block away from where you began with him.
Meanwhile he charges you for the time or mileage.
And though he
filled you in on what the place is all about, what he doesn’t,
can’t, and won’t tell you is that you need a
membership to enter. He drops you off at the gate, and you
find out your trip was for naught.
Isn’t that just like the churches and spiritual leaders
one encounters in a multiplicity of places and forms? They
have truth, and
they may even get you into the wedding feast, but never with
a wedding garment.
Therefore, while the truth spoken is to be believed (no matter
who speaks it or what affiliation the speaker may have), false teachers
are not to be
followed. Teachers sent of God are to be followed, as with the
example given by the
apostle Paul, who said by the Spirit, “Become followers of me, even
as I am of Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1). A false teacher leads into
the emptiness of self-righteousness and death, but a true teacher
leads to the fullness of Christ and life.

(organized according to last name)
A-F G-Q R-Z
Adeboye, Enoch:
An atheist from Nigeria, concerned for his deluded Christian
friends, asked us to investigate and expose some pastors whose
influence they were under, with the hopes of helping them. The
Lord, Who is also God of the atheists, has provided for them
and for you.
Aïvanhov, Omraam Mikhaël:
One in a long line of teachers of the “god within.” Paul
responds to a woman promoting the practice of realizing the inner
“Christ” without submission to the One without, the Real One from Whom
man
is separated by his sins.
Akintunde, Yinka:
We are attacked by a wannabe false prophet for listing and exposing
his Nigerian religious scamster brethren, whose fame and fortune
he hopes to achieve for himself. This prolific liar deflects
answering for his outrageous lies by redoubling his accusations.
This is the modus operandi of his father, the Devil, whose
motto is: “The best defense is going on the offensive.” This
is Satan at his best (or worst), who is no match for the Word
that exposes him in the Light.
Amirault, Gary:
Gary dismisses out of hand any straightforward declaration in
the Name of the Lord, calling such “arrogant.” How
can this be? How can one who relies on the Scriptures for truth,
which came
through men declaring, “Thus says the Lord,” deny that
God
speaks
to humanity through men? Yet multitudes
of religious are snared
in
this
trap.
Gary complains
because we have published his letter.
He also accuses us of deleting materials or misrepresenting
him without specifics (because there are none). We contrast
his reaction to
the Lord’s
teachings and ways.
Whereas Gary
cannot bear honest public
scrutiny, though he preaches publicly,
the Lord went quietly to an unjust death in front of the whole
world
at the hands of those who slandered Him.
An example of Gary's fruit:
Religious man can freely criticize, complain about, attack, censure,
maim, behead, burn, crucify, and kill whomever he says offends his
god, but should a man of God speak the truth to him about his deplorable
state, he will scream bloody murder. Such is the astonishing contradiction
of sinners, which you can see here, should God grant you to see.
Ardagh, Arjuna:
How can one attain or enter into an enlightened
state of oneness without the Light of all men, in Whom alone
life exists? Here is an example of preaching that says you can
lift yourself by
your own bootstraps without really trying. We are our own gods,
and can create Heaven on earth by thinking so. There is no such
thing as sin or an adversarial nature within to contend
with, you just need to hang loose, have fun, don't take yourself
too seriously, and you will save the world. Not.
Man tries to find the love of God in companionship with his fellow
man, but it is not there. Man must be connected to God, and then
he will have everything, because he has God. Conversely, without
that connection, he will lose everything he thinks to have, even
what he thinks to love.
Arjuna’s ex-administrator
was offended that her name showed up on a Google search linking
her with the Living Essence Foundation. She now calls Arjuna a “fraud,” and
complains that she had nothing to do with the reply to The Issues
of Life signed by her. She ominously summons legal counsel, but
the point is moot, because if the shoe doesn’t fit, she doesn’t
have to wear it. Arjuna chimes in too, and, before it is all over,
each is exposed in his or her self-serving ways.
Armstrong, Herbert W.:
It is predictable that the spirit and works of Herbert W. Armstrong
would spawn someone like Ronald Weinland, a man making many bold
claims in the delusion that he is God’s last prophet and one
of His two witnesses. Armstrong behaved similarly and the Law of
God says that like produces like. The Lord Almighty says to those
snared in such works, “Come out from the midst of them and
be separated...Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive
you. I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters” (2
Corinthians 6:17-18 EMTV). In this paper we differentiate between
the clean and unclean, what is of the Father and what is of men.
Arnecillo, Fidel Jr.:
Joshua Tongol is a hip young preacher with sincerity and enthusiasm
for “superabounding grace,” which is, in reality, a
false gospel that leaves out the crucial elements of faith and obedience
through the cross. That’s where one finds the grace of God
in Christ, not in our own hearts or ability to love, as Joshua teaches.
He is putting his own name in lights, not glorifying the Light of
all men.
“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all
men unto Me” (John 12:32 KJV).
Those who lift up themselves draw all men to themselves. So it
goes with a baker’s dozen of Tongol’s personal endorsers, who are also false teachers, because they glorify man and the
flesh that Christ came to crucify.
Arnott, John & Carol:
“But evil men and seducers will go forward to worse, deceiving
and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13 MKJV). All manias end
with a blow-off phase where all sense is abandoned, because people
are given over to their lusts entirely. So we know that we are
nearing the end of evil men and seducers when they laugh like
devils and call that the worship of God.
Bacchiocchi, Samuele:
The life and death of Mr. Bacchiocchi
is a classic representation of religious man's self-serving works
that lead to confusion, contradiction, and destruction. He goes
on to
show that the Seventh Day Adventist religion, for all its posturing
about being different from mainstream Christianity, is no different
at
all. It is full of compromise and error, just like all of men's
religions. Pretending to be more righteous makes it even more
despicable in the sight of God.
Baxter, Mary:
An Outstanding Illustration of Orthodox Christianity's Most Blasphemous
Doctrine
The fire of God is good. Here it obliterates the most egregious
of lies ever told about the Lord Jesus Christ. Mary Baxter, working
from the platform of orthodox Christian doctrine, has served
up a sensational tale of a personal tour of hell chaperoned by
the Lord. This presents us with the perfect springboard for
exposing the absurd and wicked notions of false Christianity.
Beeson, Willie:
Joshua Tongol is a hip young preacher with sincerity and enthusiasm
for “superabounding grace,” which is, in reality, a
false gospel that leaves out the crucial elements of faith and obedience
through the cross. That’s where one finds the grace of God
in Christ, not in our own hearts or ability to love, as Joshua teaches.
He is putting his own name in lights, not glorifying the Light of
all men.
“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me” (John
12:32 KJV).
Those who lift up themselves draw all men to themselves. So it goes with a
baker’s dozen of Tongol’s personal endorsers, who are also false
teachers, because they glorify man and the flesh that Christ came to crucify.
Bent, Wayne:
Almost seven years ago we met a man claiming to be the Messiah.
He went by the name of “Michael Travesser,” the assumed
name of Wayne Bent, the same person that was in the news as the “leader
of an apocalyptic cult” arrested
in New Mexico on unspecified charges. There is talk of child
molestation, which Bent denies, though he does admit to having
slept with
three
of his followers’ wives, including his son’s, at the
direction of God and the instigation of the women. (“The man
said, ‘The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me
of the tree, and I ate’” Genesis 3:12 HNV – only
these were not the women God gave to Wayne.)
While it is easy to dismiss such antics as those of a delusional
sociopath, people who have tried talking to Wayne and his followers
have found themselves unable to effectively argue against their
delusion. In this string of correspondence, we show Wayne how he
is wrong according to the Scriptures he used to justify his sins,
while exposing his arrogant, wrongheaded manner for all to see.
Bentley, Todd:
“But evil men and seducers will go forward to worse, deceiving
and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13 MKJV). All manias end
with a blow-off phase where all sense is abandoned, because people
are given over to their lusts entirely. So we know that we are nearing
the end of evil men and seducers when they laugh like devils and
call that the worship of God.
Berrigan, Daniel:
A man presents the popular philosophy that peace can be achieved
through imitation of Jesus, as espoused by the famous Catholic
priest, Daniel
Berrigan. We contrast this with Reality, which comes not
by imitation of what men conceive Christ to be, which is dead,
but by submission to the living Word of God and Prince of Peace
Himself, Jesus Christ,
without Whose Presence
peace is impossible and wars are
inevitable.
Bilyeu, Sammy:
Blackaby, Henry:
Here is a man who has impressed many and vaunted himself over millions.
He has perfected the art of bamboozlement as few have. Herein you
will find the true nature and essence of the Blackaby doctrine,
learned and experienced firsthand by Victor and his wife, Marilyn,
preceding and following a central event in their spiritual journey,
the baptism in the Spirit of God. This occurred during the time
they attended Henry’s Bible school in the 70’s, and
led to their being asked to leave, which was the Lord’s way
of beginning their separation from the works of men and paths of
the destroyer.
Isn’t it time for many to know the truth of what Henry Blackaby
teaches and be made free of the unbearable burden he lays ever so
virtuously on the consciences of so many, including his own family?
Boota, Razia:
Ministers of Christ never come asking for money, even implicitly
or by indirect means. The children of this world who appear as
ministers of Christ invariably do, because they depend on man
and not on God.
They cloak their covetousness behind the needs of others, whom
they advertise and promote as the recipients of their "godly" attention
and your money. In this narrative, see how one spider catches
three others in its money web, for evil, and how the Lord catches
all
of them for the fire, for good.
Borum, David:
Joshua Tongol is a hip young preacher with sincerity and enthusiasm
for “superabounding grace,” which is, in reality, a
false gospel that leaves out the crucial elements of faith and obedience
through the cross. That’s where one finds the grace of God
in Christ, not in our own hearts or ability to love, as Joshua teaches.
He is putting his own name in lights, not glorifying the Light of
all men.
“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me” (John
12:32 KJV).
Those who lift up themselves draw all men to themselves. So it goes with a
baker’s dozen of Tongol’s personal endorsers, who are also
false teachers, because they glorify man and the flesh that Christ came to
crucify.
Bosch, Anton:
Anton Bosch says you should not correct a fool. But what about
him? If he displays all the earmarks of a fool, is not his advice
foolish? Should not his folly be answered, according to the Word
of God, so that he might not be wise in his own eyes? It is true
that a fool cannot answer another fool in such a manner, but those
in Christ can. God has given us wisdom to answer fools, which Victor
does here with Anton and we share for the edification of all.
Boshoff, Jan:
To be anything in this world, whether a plumber or a prophet, you
need to know what the occupation consists of and requires.
If a plumber showed up at your place without any tools, insisting
he
could install your new fixtures, you wouldn’t let him in.
But false prophets like Jan Boshoff show up every day without the
tools or wherewith to do the job, and people readily believe and
receive them. That’s because they bring counterfeit tools
(like Mary Baxter’s false vision of Hell), which deceive
and destroy, rather than deliver.
Botkin, Daniel:
We answer a Messianic preacher and publisher of The
Gates of Eden newsletter, Daniel Botkin, regarding his teaching
of the blasphemous doctrine of “eternal hell,” and show
how this error is propagated
by self-righteousness, fear, and, in his case, willful ignorance
of the Word of God.
Botkin appeals to the authority of Moishe Rosen, founder
of “Jews for Jesus,” who also is addressed in his foolish
argument.
Branham, William:
William Branham preached that he was the herald prophesied of
by Malachi that would appear before the coming of the Lord.
One problem with this notion is that he was almost two thousand
years
late, as Jesus had already said that John the Baptist fulfilled
those words. Another problem is that nothing happened with Branham,
unlike with John who was actually followed by the appearing of
the Messiah.
But such trifles do not stop the deceived from believing deceivers.
Convinced by the allegedly miraculous powers and occurrences in
Branham’s life, his followers make him the touchstone for
their salvation. Such idolatry has nothing to do with the salvation
of the Lord, however. We correspond with two prominent Branhamites
who contend for his name while we contend for the faith of Christ.
In the course of this conversation many errors and false ways are
exposed that are not only applicable to Branham, but to many religious.
Bretherick, Graham and Sherry:
Not only do Satan’s servants bring destruction to others,
they suffer it themselves as the victims of their own deception.
While Christ gives a deposit of pure gold, Satan gives a “UOI” (not
an IOU), keeping his subjects under the yoke and bondage of serving
themselves in his kingdom of darkness. Light solves that problem,
when it is shone by God in Christ, and walked in by men. That
is the Kingdom of God on earth.
Brown, Tom:
How false preachers give themselves away at
every turn yet appear to men as angels of light! Tom Brown styles himself
as a minister of Christ, casting out devils by the finger of God. But
he doesn't have time to hear the Truth,
much less answer It. So he replies to us. And we say, how could he answer
Truth, being a son
of darkness and devoid of substance? Come see his fruits.
Browne, Rodney Howard:
“But evil men and seducers will go forward to worse, deceiving
and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13 MKJV). All manias end
with a blow-off phase where all sense is abandoned, because people
are given over to their lusts entirely. So we know that we are nearing
the end of evil men and seducers when they laugh like devils and
call that the worship of God.
Brueseke, Joel:
Calvin, John:
Show me whom you follow, and I will know what manner of person
you are or will become. If you do not know whom you are following,
don’t you think it is time to find out how and where you are
being led? Do you think you will altogether escape the consequences
because ignorant? Think again. You already suffer them.
John Calvin was one of the most vicious of wolves ever to pose
as a lamb of God. His supremely self-righteous spirit lives on in
those who lionize and follow him, even unbeknownst to themselves.
Truly, “that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination
in the sight of God.”
This article contains the true answers from God for those who believe,
or were taught, the false doctrine from Calvin that God has predestinated
them to burn in hell forever, time without end. There is a time
to stop drinking from the poisonous doctrines of men mixed in with
Biblical Truth, and to start drinking from Jesus Christ alone, Who
gives the water of life freely to whosoever wills.
Conversations We Have Had with Those Who Manifest the Spirit
of Calvin.
Cameron, Kirk:
Kirk Cameron uses a traditional approach of “preaching the gospel,” which tries to scare people into the Kingdom. It does not work
because it is based on lies. Paul corresponds with Kirk about
how that is so, and how it will require him to lose his life
to lose this controlling doctrine on which he has built a “ministry.”
Camm, Jeffry:
Jeffry Camm uses the Koran as an authoritative source of truth
to preach Jesus Christ to Muslims. We expose his faulty reasoning
and arguments, and also show the disastrous results of convincing
a Muslim to seriously follow the Koran, which would lead him to
resemble Muhammad, the criminal, rather than Jesus Christ, the Son
of God.
Carson, D.A.:
We were challenged to read what some “Bible experts” have
to say about the Sabbath and their arguments for Sunday-keeping
(as if we have not heard). The complex and tortured reasonings of
these scholars provide a perfect backdrop for the simplicity and
power of God’s Word to illuminate the truth to those who come
to Him as little children. What rest we have in believing Him! The
Sabbath indeed!
Carter, Jimmy:
If Jimmy Carter was such a friend of Jesus Christ, why would he
serve as a spokesperson for Israel's enemies? Why does he pretend
to be Israel's friend while supporting those who would annihilate
them, the Muslims? Has he not red, “I will bless those who
bless you and curse those who curse you”? The Muslims also
seek the subjugation of all who profess faith in Christ, according
to their devil-god, Allah. Carter is obviously no friend to the
Lord, or even to himself.
Case, Ryan:
How naked and exposed are the wicked who presume to be ministers
of Jesus Christ in their corruption! Whether by few words or many, the thoughts
of their hearts are laid bare, not only before God, but before all
those in Him. How amazing it is that those who preach the Creator
of the eyes and ears are dumbfounded that He grants vision and hearing
to His children!
Interpreting the Bible requires spiritual revelation. A case in
point: It is written that no man can see God’s face and live,
yet many have done that very thing - it requires spiritual enlightenment,
rather than a literal understanding, to know what God means. Then
there are the wicked who profess to love and serve Jesus Christ,
yet carnally interpret the Scripture to condemn those who have seen
Him, not knowing they condemn themselves.
Challies, Tim:
According to a false gospel preached by men, you cannot truly tell
who is a sheep and who is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. You
just have to be a nice person and not say anything negative about
another who claims to be Christ’s. So when Satan comes to
your door, or you go to his website or church, you should not
dare think, much less say, that he comes as an angel of Light.
Such is the religion of Tim Challies, a vain one that is not
fit for the saints of God, but is the common fare of tares.
Chan, Francis:
Many are the modern-day false ministers of Christ who “feel” a
call from God to a work, yet are clueless as to what He wants.
Where does one find a calling of such a nature in the Scriptures?
Since
when has God communicated a call to a work by feelings? The answers
are “Nowhere” and “Never.”
Francis Chan has been weighed in the balance of God and found wanting.
According to the measure of the Lord Jesus Christ, Chan has been,
and remains, a carnal minister of the counterfeit church, a blind
guide leading others into the ditch of fruitless religiosity. Whosoever
has ears to hear, let him hear.
Chew, Ben:
Ben Chew blows the cover off the impressive appearance he tries
to create with his religious works when he comes mocking the real
thing, our work in Christ. He is exposed as one whose reformation
is superficial and wanting, a whitewashed tomb with dead men’s
bones and rotting flesh inside. See how this empty cloud is vaporized
by fire, removing the appearance of godliness and leaving nothing
behind.
Chopra, Deepak:
There are so many people who believe the lie that Christ is but
one of many ways to God. They believe that the major religions of
the world are in agreement and harmony with Christ and the Bible.
There is nothing farther from the truth. Herein is addressed Buddhism
in particular, with reference to the philosophical assertions of
Deepak Chopra and Robert Thurman.
Chouravong, Ami:
Claiborne, Shane:
Responding to Shane Claiborne’s book, Irresistible Revolution,
we expose the falsity of the gospel of the peace activist
and social worker “Jesus,” which depends on a corrupt
mankind to do good, and point Shane to the living, resurrected
Lord Jesus Christ, Who alone is good, and
to His instructions for
life.
Clark, John Sr.:
Some cults have pet, false doctrines on which they justify their
existence.
“Pastor John’s House” has an obsession with “the
baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in
other tongues,” which we address (theirs is a
false baptism and experience). We also deal with Satan and
his subtleties, cloaked by an appearance of graciousness that
deceives the simple.
It does not take long, however, before he bares his
fangs.
Cohen, Aviad:
We correspond with Jewish rapper Aviad Cohen, aka 50 Shekel, who
began to publicly profess Christ and offer advice and teachings.
How greatly does the spotlight of fame, even if minor as
in his case, amplify insecurities and errors! How foolish for
neophytes to think to teach in the first place! Escaping his
Jewish orthodox
teachers, this fearful young man cannot tell friend from foe
because
he does not know which end is up and is too proud to admit it.
There is, nevertheless, much good advice and teaching here for
any willing
to listen.
Comfort, Ray:
Ray Comfort uses the threat of “eternal
hell” to
motivate proselytizers and potential converts to spread his perverted
idea of
God and Christ. Two heathen are used by God to shame this minister,
yet he does not see or know it. Only one whose eyes are opened
can
see the absurd madness of the religious Don Quixotes.
Conlon, Carter:
Men of God don’t spawn clones, but men do. The tragedy of
David Wilkerson is that he had received some truths from God, but
he chose the favor of men over the praise of God. He remained in
the corrupt systems of men that he sought to reform, without success
because he wasn’t reformed himself. His legacy is Carter Conlon,
a preacher who never even came close to God.
Copeland, Kenneth & Gloria:
Kenneth and Gloria Copeland are "prosperity" teachers,
bold and brash, but are they of God? If so, why would a cloud
of evil spirits come to possess all those who sing, "praise,"
and "worship" with hands uplifted, by Kenneth Copeland's leadership?
My wife and I almost got caught ourselves, but by God's mercy
and grace.
Crews, William:
“Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent
in their own sight! Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine,
and men of strength to mingle strong drink” (Isaiah 5:21-22
KJV).
William Crews has been mixing the Scriptures with his own
embittered inclinations and ideas for many years, serving it
up to the unsuspecting
through his writings and preaching. The Day has come to disentangle
and set free all who are given to hear the Truth that puts
away his error.
Daugherty, Billy Joe:
Carefully choose whom you will serve, God or man, because the rewards
are life and death. Do you know whom you are serving? Are you
praising man or God? Can you tell the difference? Here is the
cautionary tale of a very successful minister of men, from which
you may
learn
the difference, if God grants it to you.
Our conversations with those who try to defend Billy
Joe Daugherty:
A reader takes us to task for saying that God takes care of His
children. Imagine that! And those like Billy Joe Daugherty, who
preach deliverance and healing but die without either, are frauds,
pure and simple.
An indignant passerby assaults us for applying the Word of God
to the one she calls “His anointed.” We will have to
answer for our words someday, she waggles her forefinger at us.
Yet she is unable to answer for her own words when confronted with
the truth, including the report of one believer who was delivered
from confusion and doubt by our report of Billy Joe.
Dawn, Marva:
There is an oh so gentle and appealing appearance of light, love,
kindness, and understanding that comes in the Name of Christ,
yet conceals a heart of darkness that strengthens the hands of
the wicked
in the paths of the destroyer. Woe to those who follow her in
her ways, who love their sins and lies more than the Truth! Marva
Dawn,
you have much blood to answer for, and answer you shall!
Deweert, Dick and
Joan:
Dick Deweert, founder of The Miracle Channel in Lethbridge, Alberta
was caught in an extra-marital affair. He resigned as president,
as did his wife, Joan Deweert, in order to stand
with him. Here, according to the Lord, is what is happening
there, going back
to what He told Victor in 1983 at the beginning of this
work of
man.
Dewey, Pam:
Pam Dewey raises the alarm on false teachers at her “Field
Guide to the Wild World of Religion” website, http://www.isitso.org/guide,
which she describes as, “Your one-stop resource for accurate
information on the wild and wooly world of modern religious groups and
teachers.” In a series of correspondences we show that knowledge of some falsehood
is not enough, but one must have personal knowledge of the Lord Jesus
Christ,
The Tree of Life, which Pam lacks and disdains.
Doctorian, Samuel:
“Doctor” or “Reverend” Doctorian plays
the part of an aged holy man, appearing in all black with a white
beard and large cross hung around his neck. He exudes the universal
appeal of a religious Santa Claus, an old and wise “saint“ revered
by all. But Jesus said that which is highly esteemed among men is
an abomination to God, and there could be no more appropriate words
for this pious fraud.
Driscoll, Mark:
Mark Driscoll preaches a carnal gospel that supports confidence
in the flesh and not in the Spirit of God. The two are diametrically
opposed to one another, so despite all his dynamism and appeal,
you’ll not find, or be led to, the Kingdom of God at Mars
Hill or any affiliated works.
Duplantis, Jesse:
Dena Dahl of Harvest Haven reviews Jesse Duplantis’ book,
Heaven: Close Encounters of the God Kind. And what a pack of lies
that is! But they are lies people love to hear about God, so they
stand in line to pay for deception from a man who is simply “jess
duplicitous.”
Eby, J. Preston:
Gary Amirault uses material from J. Preston Eby, trying to condemn
us as legalists. It backfires as Eby himself, in the
very material provided, admits the need for the Law of God to
be fulfilled in
every person, which is precisely what we preach, by the grace
of God. In other matters, Eby’s errors and the ensuing confusion
are pointed out.
Edwards, Harry:
Ehrman, Bart:
Bart Ehrman wrote a bestseller with the sensational title, Misquoting
Jesus: The Story Behind Who Changed the Bible and Why. You can relax,
though. The Bible is mostly intact with very little corruption.
Mr. Ehrman’s problem is that he was once religious and mistook
his belief in the Bible for an authentic faith in God. Finding flaws
in the Bible destroyed his faith in the letter, which, because it
is a false god, is not a bad thing. Only the faith of Jesus Christ,
which is personal and firsthand knowledge of God, will prosper one
spiritually, enabling him or her to understand the Spirit of the
Scriptures.
Federow, Stuart:
Stuart Federow publishes “What Jews Believe,” which
consists of a list of ten postulates that prohibit Jews from believing
in Jesus Christ. Who made Stuart a spokesman for all Jews? The only
One Whose Word matters here is God. What does He have to say about
Stuart's personal objections? Just what do true Jews believe?
Fields, Roy:
“But evil men and seducers will go forward to worse, deceiving
and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13 MKJV). All manias end
with a blow-off phase where all sense is abandoned, because people
are given over to their lusts entirely. So we know that we are nearing
the end of evil men and seducers when they laugh like devils and
call that the worship of God.
Fish, Darwin:
Darwin Fish, who says he knows of no true ministers of God besides
himself, is confronted for his stance on teaching masturbation
and presuming things he does not know, contradicting God and
the Spirit of His Scriptures.
When a correspondent on his site asks about us, Darwin lists
several things he finds wrong with our doctrine (having twisted
the Word of God and misunderstood what we preach). His final
issue is that
we list him as a false teacher. How can we not, with all the
evidence against him?
