How to Worship

Subject: How to worship in spirit and in truth

Viktor and Paul:

I have long desired to know how, when, and why to worship in spirit and in truth. In fact, I was once a Christian raised to worship on Sundays, believed Easter was the day Yeshua was resurrected and Christmas was the day Yeshua was born.  Now, I observe Friday sunset to Saturday sunset as the Sabbath (Shabbat in Hebrew), believe that Yeshua was both born, and crucified, during Passover (Pesach in Hebrew).

Despite all of this, I am still searching for the way to be humble, obedient to God or Adonai and Jesus or Yeshua, and to be saved.  My father’s ancestry is Jewish through his mother (Lazarow was the surname my paternal grandmother was born with), and my mother’s maternal grandmother was Sargent surnamed at birth, yet I am still confused and searching as to how to be truly saved.  I accepted full immersion baptism at the age of 8 years of age, nearly 49 years ago, accepted what I thought was the baptism of the Spirit (speaking in tongues) in 1994, which was when I was Christian in belief, and have attended services in Messianic Judaism congregations, but still feel guilty of so much sin, and desire to be truly saved (at the age of 8, I confessed my sin and belief in Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world).

It is my earnest and heartfelt desire to be saved truly, and although I love to sing praises to Jesus Christ or Yeshua HaMashiach and feel both gladness and joy when doing so, there is so much confusion and guilt I feel, I would like to be truly saved, forgiven for my huge multitude of sins, and be able to spread the true Good News to anyone who will listen to the true Good News.

I have been divorced twice, am married to my 3rd husband for 21 years plus now, was divorced from the first and second husbands due to both living with them outside of marriage before marrying them, and their physical, emotional, and sexual abuse of me, and my children from the first marriage have nothing to do with me due to my knowing what they have said and done to either myself, and/or, their children, I have not tithed to anyone for months now, and truly desire to be absolved/saved, and worship truly in spirit and in truth.  I have read things from your website, including your answers to others, and want to know, should you know this yourselves, how to truly worship in spirit and in truth.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Cynthia

Hi Cynthia,

True worship of God is His will for everyone He draws and calls to Himself through Jesus Christ:

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a spirit, and they who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23-24 MKJV).

Try reading The Worship of God, plus all the links in the paper.

What do you feel guilty about? Much confusion comes from manmade Christianity. As you come away from religion and its false doctrines, being cleansed by the Word of God through faith and obedience, your confusion will lift. Also read Here Is the Way It Is.

Salvation is in Jesus Christ alone: “Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved” (Romans 10:9 MKJV).

Read all we’ve given you, because it comes from the salvation Jesus Christ has wrought in our lives.

Give thanks, Cynthia. God has answered your petition.

El Arrepentimiento, Colocando la Carreta Delante del Caballo

English - Spanish De: Paul Para: The Path of Truth Enviado: Lunes, 2 de Mayo, 2016 5:00 AM Asunto: 8 Pasos Para el ArrepentimientoHola chicos,Interesante página. Confession to your Unaware Victims Is Required

I grew up as a catholic, when I was a kid I did not atended much to mass just in special ocassions, but then in August I started to have horrible thoughts about the Lord that I did not want, they are scary and I always ended up crying, then I found out that it was a form of anxienty called scrupolusity, then I started to read the bible and praying, I went to a evengelican christian church, but it's now one that has people jumping around or screaming, it's pretty much quiet and it does not have a lot of members. Still I have worries about salvation and about what I believe because I do not want to be decieved and I'm still read and try to learn about the word, but sometimes I get confused about subjects and teachings, I really want to follow Jesus and I know that it's not easy but I want to be fertil soil. I also read the testimonies about hell and heaven visions and was wondering if they were true or not. I also have questions:Can you recommend me a way of studying the bible? How can I talk to others about Jesus, can you give me a short presentation of the gospel?I have a problem with the sin of anger and I wrote versicles about it and try to read them and pray , could you suggest another thing to do when feeling angry? Is it a sin to watch movies, dancing or ...
