How to Worship

Subject: How to worship in spirit and in truth

Viktor and Paul:

I have long desired to know how, when, and why to worship in spirit and in truth. In fact, I was once a Christian raised to worship on Sundays, believed Easter was the day Yeshua was resurrected and Christmas was the day Yeshua was born.  Now, I observe Friday sunset to Saturday sunset as the Sabbath (Shabbat in Hebrew), believe that Yeshua was both born, and crucified, during Passover (Pesach in Hebrew).

Despite all of this, I am still searching for the way to be humble, obedient to God or Adonai and Jesus or Yeshua, and to be saved.  My father’s ancestry is Jewish through his mother (Lazarow was the surname my paternal grandmother was born with), and my mother’s maternal grandmother was Sargent surnamed at birth, yet I am still confused and searching as to how to be truly saved.  I accepted full immersion baptism at the age of 8 years of age, nearly 49 years ago, accepted what I thought was the baptism of the Spirit (speaking in tongues) in 1994, which was when I was Christian in belief, and have attended services in Messianic Judaism congregations, but still feel guilty of so much sin, and desire to be truly saved (at the age of 8, I confessed my sin and belief in Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world).

It is my earnest and heartfelt desire to be saved truly, and although I love to sing praises to Jesus Christ or Yeshua HaMashiach and feel both gladness and joy when doing so, there is so much confusion and guilt I feel, I would like to be truly saved, forgiven for my huge multitude of sins, and be able to spread the true Good News to anyone who will listen to the true Good News.

I have been divorced twice, am married to my 3rd husband for 21 years plus now, was divorced from the first and second husbands due to both living with them outside of marriage before marrying them, and their physical, emotional, and sexual abuse of me, and my children from the first marriage have nothing to do with me due to my knowing what they have said and done to either myself, and/or, their children, I have not tithed to anyone for months now, and truly desire to be absolved/saved, and worship truly in spirit and in truth.  I have read things from your website, including your answers to others, and want to know, should you know this yourselves, how to truly worship in spirit and in truth.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Cynthia

Hi Cynthia,

True worship of God is His will for everyone He draws and calls to Himself through Jesus Christ:

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a spirit, and they who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23-24 MKJV).

Try reading The Worship of God, plus all the links in the paper.

What do you feel guilty about? Much confusion comes from manmade Christianity. As you come away from religion and its false doctrines, being cleansed by the Word of God through faith and obedience, your confusion will lift. Also read Here Is the Way It Is.

Salvation is in Jesus Christ alone: “Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved” (Romans 10:9 MKJV).

Read all we’ve given you, because it comes from the salvation Jesus Christ has wrought in our lives.

Give thanks, Cynthia. God has answered your petition.

Judging by the Flesh, Not by Righteous Judgement
From: V To: The Path of Truth Sent: Thursday, February 18, 2016 12:20 PM Subject: Samuel Doctorian You are obviously someone who does not know Samuel Doctorian personally. His message is Jesus and Him crucified. Your message is judgement on men of God, whose judgement is left to God alone. You might consider looking at the fruit of Samuel Doctorian's life and ministry.  Sincerely, V From: Paul Cohen and Victor Hafichuk To: V Sent: Wednesday, February 24, 2016 7:10 AM Subject: Re: Samuel Doctorian Hi V, Do you know the apostle Paul “personally,” as you imply you know Samuel Doctorian? According to your reasoning, since you haven’t met Paul in the flesh, how can you know whether he preached Christ crucified? You only assume so because it’s in the Bible, which makes you a Bibliolater – one who worships the Bible rather than the living God. Haven’t you heard of “righteous judgment”? You expect us to judge Doctorian according to sight in that you demand we know him personally and after the flesh before judging. But if we judge righteous judgment, which means we discern and speak by the revelation of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, then you disobey the Lord and fault us for obeying Him, seeing He says: “Do not judge according to sight, but judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24 MKJV).   We’ve seen the fruits of Samuel Doctorian and have identified them for all who have eyes to see, given by the Lord Jesus Christ. You can’t see that Doctorian’s fruits are ...
Veganism: A Proselytizing Cult in Worship of Earth
From: Mata To: The Path of Truth Sent: Monday, November 07, 2016 5:40 PM Subject: Abusive vegan teenagers I didn't mind that my two teenage girls became vegan, it meant less sweets and more veggies. After a short while they became very aggressive to me insisting that I follow there path.!. My remark to a string of abusive words were: 'stress kills.....don't stress me out.' They were both more polite and kind before turning vegan.  A frustrated mum. From: Paul Cohen To: Mata Cc: Victor Hafichuk Sent: Thursday, November 10, 2016 7:28 AM Subject: Re: Abusive vegan teenagers Perhaps you should mind that your daughters joined the pagan cult of veganism, Mata. You wouldn’t approve of other harmful practices in your home, would you, like smoking crack? Veganism is more insidious, because it destroys physically and spiritually while its practitioners are proud of the destruction they’re sowing and reaping. Crackheads rarely try to convert their mums.   If your daughters’ diets were poor in the past, veganism could be an improvement, no doubt, but to a degree and only for the short term. You’re already seeing fallout from this diet, because its philosophy is gravely corrupt and affects all levels of being. You should be looking into and implementing true principles of health for yourself and your family, as much as possible. Do you not believe in your Lord and Creator, Who put you on earth to live and prosper according to His laws and ways? Christian Physi...
A Joseph Hedgecock Follower Defends Selling the Gospel
Subject: Servants of the Lord ministries Date: 11/28/2015 7:02 am From: Bert To: The Path of Truth Hello Victor, Paul, Sara and Edwin, To my surprise and by coincident I read you have Joseph Hedgecock and Servants of the Lord Ministries on your list of false teachers/organisations. I read the part where a woman said she got hurt by listening to Joseph and when you ask her to explain more in detail she refused to go into your question. It sounded for me like there was something wrong in the way she presented here accusation. Many did not follow the Lord Jesus because they found His words hard and exactly that is what is happening today. It is even a warning for the end times that people will not endure sound doctrine. Then Victor use words as “these things don’t ring true, because….. How do you discern this, if you do it out of your reasoning and understanding you will be deceived, only by the Holy Spirit one can come to truth. Only the right divided Word of God, that what the Lord meant by it, is the truth. Not what believers make of it by reading it and try to explain it. I can clearly read in the comments of Paul Cohen that he did not read the books of Joseph but somehow give his own opinion on it, for example that the cross is not applied. Without the cross it is not possible to enter into the Kingdom of God now, that is at this right moment. More practical teaching than S.O.L.M. you will not find, it is a daily taking up your cross. He also m...
