Further Correspondence with Anna Kopelson

Anna wrote in response:

Dear Victor,

Out of respect and humility, would you please resend your letters taking out all references to me and what I do (i.e., “you have pride, you are in the flesh, you are this you are that”). You know nothing about me, and these statements only hint to me that you need a rest from contending for the truth, as these statements only cause contention and little else.

I have left the world completely to serve Yashua and have condense my possessions into, essentially, a duffel bag which I take to wherever He sends me to serve — India included. That is all I will say about myself as I have no need to give a testimony to any man of who I am and what I do.

But if you want me to read your letter, take out every accusation about “You…” and then I may read it as the Ruach ha-Kodesh leads me.

When a man says, “I am humble,” humility has fled.
When a man, even if an aggelos says “Submit to me,” his authority is compromised.

Shalom,

Anna

Victor’s and Paul’s replies:

“The full soul despises a honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet” (Proverbs 27:7 MKJV).

“For you say, I have wealth, and have got together goods and land, and have need of nothing; and you are not conscious of your sad and unhappy condition, that you are poor and blind and without clothing. If you are wise you will get from Me gold tested by fire, so that you may have true wealth; and white robes to put on, so that your shame may not be seen; and oil for your eyes, so that you may see. To all those who are dear to Me, I give sharp words and punishment: then with all your heart have sorrow for your evil ways” (Revelation 3:17-19 BBE).

“Rebellion against Him is as bad as witchcraft, and arrogance is as sinful as idolatry. Because you rejected the LORD’s command, He has rejected you as king” (1 Samuel 15:23 GNB).

Anna, to begin with, let’s test the wisdom of your proverbs, “When a man says, ‘I am humble,’ humility has fled,” and,

When a man, even if an aggelos says ‘Submit to me,’ his authority is compromised.

On both counts, you have made a liar of Yashua (Jesus Christ), the One You profess to believe and obey. He came saying:

Take My yoke on you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest to your souls” (Matthew 11:29 MKJV).

He also claimed to be the Light of the world, the Bread from Heaven, and the Door whereby we enter. He claimed (and claims) to be the Way, the Truth and the Life. According to you He has lost credibility by declaring the truth about Himself. You deny that Jesus Christ came and comes in the flesh.

John the Baptist was so arrogant as to claim certain of Isaiah’s words referred to him personally… “a voice of one crying in the wilderness…” (Isaiah 40:3). The apostle Paul had the chutzpah to claim he had seen the Lord and that he was an apostle personally appointed, not by men but by God (Galatians 1:1). According to you and your “wise sayings,” all these are automatically discounted as charlatans.

We are required to speak, but we are not responsible for the reactions of those to whom we are sent. Not heeding what YHWH has given us to reprove the works of darkness is your great loss for the time. What a proud, rebellious woman you are! It is evident you have always refused correction. Know that there has been a faithful witness from Yashua against you.

I can almost believe you when you suggest that you have not red my letter to you – for at least two reasons:

First, nowhere will you find in my letter any statement saying I am humble. I will tell you right now that I am not at all humble, so there. Now seeing I am willing to admit it, perhaps you have some motivation to read something about yourself other than praise and vain words that tickle your ears.

How humble do you think yourself to be, Anna, that you refuse to hear anything honest and straightforward about yourself that does not suit you, setting yourself as judge of right and wrong and of God Himself? Obviously, you think quite highly of yourself. Will you also now set this letter down because I, going by your fruits, question your humility, even though I have explicitly admitted that I am not humble and have presented justification for questioning your humility?

Here is my second reason for almost believing you have not red the paper: I wrote over 20 pages on submission for your sake and that of others (volume or size does not constitute or legitimize the work but Truth from Ruach HaKodesh, Whose leading you presume to follow). If you can still make the statement you have in this response of yours to that paper concerning my call to submission, then indeed you have not red my letter, at least not as you ought. I took great pains to describe accurately how I meant the words, “Come, submit to me,” and I supported those words by the Lord’s and the apostle Paul’s examples and words clearly expressed in Scripture. Brother Paul Cohen has also written you a letter nearly as long as mine on the subject of submission according to the will of God, as expressed in Scripture.

But now, unless we approach her highness, as she demands, she will not give us her audience. Little does she know she sits on a rotting stump for a throne, with a homemade grass crown on her head, a ragged, old housecoat for a robe, a willow reed in her hand for a scepter, without so much as ants for subjects, so contrary to her delusion. Little does she know in her vanity and witchcraft that if she would humble herself, she could be delivered from her ramshackle hut she calls a throne room to something unimaginably better.

Your spiritual lot is definitely humble, Anna; you are not.

We are now thankful to have used those very words that I myself have contemplated removing lest we should offend anyone. They have needfully exposed you. For you were they destined and we have witnessed it.

You say we know nothing about you? On the contrary, we know much about you, for YHWH has revealed it to us. You would see what we know if you were to, firstly, read our letters to you, which tell much, and, secondly, if you were given to know by the Ruach Hakodesh (for our readers’ sakes, this is Hebrew for the Holy Spirit – Anna is trying to impress us). We see your vanity and stiffneckedness, your pride, your self-righteousness, boastfulness and self-deception. We see your religiosity, your independent spirit, and your stubborn resistance to the Holy Spirit, Who sends us to speak to you.

I am persuaded that others will also see you for what you are. We are not alone with this gift of discerning your spirit, which, in essence, you say does not exist, when you say, “You know nothing about me…” as though we ought to depend on carnal means to know you (we are not judging after the appearance).

Yes, you have stumbled unexpectedly on the Stone of Israel, and you cannot avoid Him. We see your posturing, demonstrating your emptiness and vain effort to display a devotion to God.

“But,” you reply, “you are so wrong! I am so devoted! ‘I have left the world completely to serve Yashua and have condense my possessions into, essentially, a duffel bag which I take to wherever He sends me to serve — India included.‘”

A duffel bag? How humble of you! Even India! My, my! And besides Hebrew, you know Greek too (aggelos)! I say with the apostle Paul to you:

“If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love” (1 Corinthians 13:3 MSG).

How about going to Hell, Anna, because that is where you need to go to follow the Lord. He went there for your sake, and unless you take up the cross, follow Him and go there, all your works are as menstrual rags on the altar. You love nobody but yourself. Face it; you could not care less for anyone. You say you have left the world. It is plain the world has not left you. Its spirit functions quite powerfully in your innermost being; hence the crucial need for a death, burial, and resurrection.

We have posted this correspondence on our website for the instruction and spiritual benefit of all who come to drink of the River of Life and to eat of the Tree of Life. May they be sustained in their walk on the Path of Truth.

You need to repent, Anna. You greatly grieve the One you pretend to serve. We are thankful to be among those thousands of messengers (aggelos) to tell you so, thus fulfilling the Word of Yashua by Enoch, that you might live:

“Enoch, the seventh after Adam, prophesied of them: ‘Look! The Master comes with thousands of holy angels to bring judgment against them all, convicting each person of every defiling act of shameless sacrilege, of every dirty word they have spewed of their pious filth’” (Jude 1:14-15 MSG).

Victor

Anna, Paul here.

When Victor says he is not humble he is saying two things. One, he is speaking in the same Spirit and manner as Paul the apostle, who said that in his flesh there dwelt no good thing. We also have no confidence in our flesh. We confess that God alone is good. Your problem is that you confess your own goodness, which is also self-righteousness and antiChrist.

Two, our calling is not humble. It is an unimaginably great honor to serve the King of Heaven. Rebels like you only destroy themselves by fighting Him.

You ask, “out of respect and humility,” that we remove from our letters the descriptions of the way you are and behave. Why should we hide the truth because you wish to conceal it? God does not respect your corrupt religious posturing and condemnation of His goodness. Why should we deny Him and allow your wickedness to go unaddressed?

How humble is it of you to demand that the Truth not be spoken to you about yourself, especially while presenting yourself as a follower of Truth? You should be repenting on your spiritual knees, not demanding that your sin be ignored.

And how is it that you could read our writings and letters for two years and not know what we are about? You observe that we “contend for the truth.” Do you find that unacceptable only when you are confronted on your sins? Fine when others are exposed, but do not touch “her holiness,” you demand of us. You do not care about the welfare of any except yourself, and that you are proven right, for which cause you sell your goods and travel around the world. Why should it be a surprise that God is against such a self-serving hypocrite?

“You are pure to those who are pure, but hostile to those who are wicked” (2 Samuel 22:27 GNB).

Wives Submitting to Husbands

From: Deniese To: The Path of Truth Sent: Saturday, January 09, 2016 5:09 PM Subject: FuneralsHi,I have been reading your website.  I am on the Journey of obedience to Jesus Christ.  I have a question.  Should a follower of Jesus attend funerals of loved ones who are not saved or people people in the so called "church"?  My husband , children and I stopped going to church a few months ago.  We are studying the scriptures and for the 1st time walking in obedience.  A pastor from an old Church died suddenly a few days ago, my husband wants to go to the memorial service tomorrow to pay respects to the family, I don't want to go.  I'm not sure if I'm right. He says then if your mother or father dies, and if they die without salvation are we not to go to there funeral?  For some reason, I don't think we should be going to funerals of the unsaved.  Even family.  I want to please the Lord above all else, but I don't want to be in error anymore.. We have been so called saved for 15 years, but a year ago the Lord have been opening our eyes to deception.  I'm tired now.  I want the truth.Thank you.Follower of Christ,DenieseFrom: Deniese To: The Path of Truth Sent: Saturday, January 09, 2016 5:14 PM Subject: WeedHi again,I am trying to tell my husband that a follower of Jesus should not smoke weed.  Is it OK for a follower to smoke weed? Disregard Voices Saying God Rejects You

From: Alexander To: The Path of Truth Sent: Monday, August 29, 2016 12:51 PM Subject: How to tell if Jesus restores youPaul and Victor,My name is Alex. I just turned 25 last week. I live in Chicago.Growing up I went to a large non-denominational church in the suburbs. Big light show, positive message, preaching "basic salvation" of accept Jesus into your heart. You probably know the type.Anyways I went to this church growing up, got baptized at 10 (mostly to be able to eat the crackers with the adults in service) and went to church camp and some short mission trips in Jr. High and High School. Didn't have much in the way of a relationship with God or Jesus. The Holy Spirit was an abstract concept to me, and not a real person. I believed in the sense that I really didn't have a good reason not to, because everyone around me, my family and friends and church community believed. So I didn't have srong convictions about it. Didn't really pray or read the bible. Pretty much jumped into trouble as soon as I could in high school by drinking and smoking and chasing girls, and was mean to my sisters and my parents since puberty and a jerk to a lot of my peer group - basically I never really ever tried to obey Jesus's commands. But I had enough of a fear of Hell not to totally blaspheme. As I got later into high school, ages 16-17, I was starting to doubt the whole thing. Stuck somewhere between not really willing to believe it with my whole heart and soul but no...

Wanting to Do Things Right

We are called to do right because it is right, whether pleasing to anyone or not. We are here to choose the successful and true right, the one and only kind of right there is, and not what we ignorantly and foolishly imagine and choose to be right, in that it is selfishly advantageous.
