Many say that we are in the last days, as if this is a new thing. When exactly did the last days begin, and what are they all about? The answer is in the Scriptures:
“[Jesus Christ] having been foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, He was made manifest in these last times for you” (1 Peter 1:20 EMTV).
“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you were given word that the antiChrist would come, so now a number of antiChrists have come to you; and by this we are certain that it is the last hour” (1 John 2:18 BBE).
The last times have come when Jesus Christ is made manifest to you, and the last hour is when the antiChrist is revealed to you. AntiChrist is a spirit – the spirit of men who worship God, but not in Spirit and Truth, as spoken of by Jude to true worshippers:
“But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, how they told you that in the last time there would be mockers, walking according to their own ungodly lusts. These are those who cause divisions [denominations], worldly, not having the Spirit” (Jude 1:17-19 EMTV).
When you fully see the antiChrist, it is because you have seen and are of the Christ, Who has opened your eyes. You will have entered the last days, and have been brought to your end. Henceforth Satan, who comes as an angel of light, is no longer hidden from your eyes. The last hour has come; you are in and of the new world, the Kingdom of God, and you bring the last days for others.
