A Question about Salvation and Eternal Hell

Subject: Question about salvation

Hi The Path of Truth

I don’t know how to start so maybe I should explain my experiance with christians and my current beliefs and then ask a question. Basically I come from a family with a Jehovah’s Witness parents and a generic Christian parent. I then went to a bible study fellowship thing for a year and quit that in fury when they explained to us “how could a loving god not send people to eternal hellfire and torment”. Before I quit however I found a website called Bible-Truths.com written up by (your favourite I searched your website before hand) L.Ray Smith. What an amazing website this was where he taught that through judgement all men ever will come to salvation. To me the idea that any man would perish was unjust because many people have good reason to not believe in a good god especially when bible study fellowship teaches that a good god would burn everyone forever and ever. (A huge percentage of the world that has lived was definately not christian)

Anyway enough of that I saw in your correspondance with L.Ray Smith and on your website you’re not a universalist and you disagree with L.Ray on much but you still believe that all men will be saved and I don’t quite understand what you mean and your website has so much. I so badly want to believe that everyone ever will be saved even if they go through judgement and are brought kicking and screaming into eternal life for eternal punishment for much of the human populace is terrifying and not a world I would want to live in forever.

Thanks for your time

Deanington

Hi Deanington,

You ask:

I saw in your correspondance with L.Ray Smith and on your website you’re not a universalist and you disagree with L.Ray on much but you still believe that all men will be saved and I don’t quite understand what you mean and your website has so much.

I’d say we agreed with Ray on much, but his relationship with the Lord was the real issue – lacking on account of pride and bitterness, which did him in. That was a sad thing to behold. Of what use was Ray’s doctrine of universal salvation when he wasn’t being saved? We tried to help him.

Nevertheless, Ray will be fully reconciled to God through Jesus Christ and the Word of God we spoke to him. Praise God, His Word doesn’t return to Him void. He works judgment and correction not to be repented of.

So yes, you can believe that all will be saved, Deanington, but make sure to put your trust in the One Who can save you by exercising faith and obedience to Him.

Hebrews 4:1-3 MKJV
(1)  Therefore, a promise being left to enter into His rest, let us fear lest any of you should seem to come short of it.
(2)  For also we have had the Gospel preached, as well as them. But the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
(3)  For we who have believed do enter into the rest, as He said, “I have sworn in My wrath that they should not enter into My rest;” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Keep reading our site to hear and learn more of the True Savior of all Men.

Paul

Church: Dull, Boring, and Full of Harlotry
From: Sheila To: The Path of Truth Sent: Sunday, June 19, 2016 5:52 PM Subject: Thank you!  Dear Bro. Hafichuk: I just wanted to say "thank you so much!!" for your article "The case for coming out". Over the past year, I have been spending much time in praying in the Spirit and reading the word. A few months ago, I told the Lord (bc I tell Him everything) that I really have no desire to go to church anymore bc I already know what they're going to do before I get there. It's always the same, and I really wasn't enjoying being there. BUT, I really enjoy spending hours at home in my bedroom with Him... worshipping the Lord, praying and reading (and hearing) the word. It has been almost 3 months since my last visit to church, and today I was gonna go, not bc I wanted to, but bc I felt like I "should".  Before I got out of bed, I heard the scripture Hebrews 10:25, and began to read and understand what it is truly saying. You ready know what my conclusion is. I will not assemble with the harlot, bc I am not of the harlot!! Praise The Lord!!  I know the Lord allowed me to find your article and website today, (I have NEVER seen it before or even heard of it) and I thank Him, and thank you for sharing The Truth!  "Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever.  Amen." Blood, not Brains Makes a Christian
From: Alecks To: The Path of Truth Sent: Friday, November 11, 2016 5:34 PM Subject: Questions on the Trinity. Hey guys, I'm pretty new to your site and I've been looking around a lot and learning some very interesting stuff.  I consider myself a "baby Christian" as I only started reading the Bible in February.  Since then I've read it twice more this year.  But, I do have a quick question about the denial of the Trinity on your site.  I'll get right to it, and I'm sorry if these are questions that you've already addressed.  If they are, please just post a link to the article and I'll be happy to read them. First off, in II Corinthians 1:3 Paul writes "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ" In my opinion Paul's letters seem to make a pretty clear distinction between Father and Son.  Here is included not only the God "AND" Father, but also "OF" our Lord Jesus Christ. But the reason I mostly believe in the Trinity is actually from Genesis 18 and 19. Just to rehash it quickly, Abraham is sitting in the tent door when he looks up and see's 3 men standing near him.  He gets up and says Genesis 18:3 "My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant..."  So he serves them and they talk, then it reads Genesis 18:22 "Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the Lord." At 19:1 we read "Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening.." So logically, there were 3 men,...
