Meandering Without the Shepherd

Subject: On Church Attendance

I came across your website this evening and I am intrigued.  I haven’t read all that I want to read as yet, but, I will meander through it.

I read your article regarding salvation.  I scanned the “false doctrines” articles.

Here’s my question.  I do not attend church regularly.  It is in my heart to do that so as to not avoid gathering with other like minded believers.  Unfortunately every church in my area either teaches eternal torment for the unbelieving or the church is liberal and accepts just about anything as doctrine.

I’m not looking for advice, but I would like your opinion.

Thank you,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Do sheep select their own pastures, food, and companions, or do their shepherds guide and manage them? If Jesus Christ is your Shepherd, then you can be certain He is leading you where you need to be, step by step, everything in its place and time.

“God sets the solitary in families: He brings out those which are bound with chains…”

But if you’re doing your own thing in His Name, then “the rebellious dwell in a dry land” (Psalms 68:6 KJV). Even though that land is populated by many and apparently prosperous.

“Righteous are You, O LORD, when I complain to You; yet I would plead my case before You. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all who are treacherous thrive? You plant them, and they take root; they grow and produce fruit; You are near in their mouth and far from their heart” (Jeremiah 12:1-2 ESV).

“Go in through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in through it” (Matthew 7:13 MKJV).

Giving you not opinion, but the Word of God, which isn’t just advice – it’s His commandments with sure promise.

Debunking Fallen Angel Myths
From: Brown Family To: The Path of Truth Sent: Wednesday, September 14, 2016 10:29 PM Subject: False teaching?? In short, the subject of fallen angels and what they did to the women of men has been debatable for sometime. Because the Bible doesn't clarify in detail about this subject, there are references in the Bible that strongly suggest there was giants during that time in history. Let's not forget that the supernatural is a real force from God as well as Satan and his demons. Yes, all we need to focus on is the Cross!! But to reference Bible scriptures for further study is not forbidden. There is reliable resources that would suggest that there was a time period in history that is not recorded in detail about the giants existence.  Fossil and skeletal remains have prove the existence as well! Of course BIG Brother has covered up most the findings which defies the truth and maintains mainstream theology about Darwinism. Darwinism is Satan's BIG LIE to the world. Proving the existence of Giants would be supported by the Word of God and flip Darwinism upside down! I don't know why some Christians have a hard time understanding that Angels rebelled against God by leaving their place of residence, finding women of men attractive, having sexual relations, thus being punished by God!!! Yes we live in the 21st century and are far removed from our ancestors such that we have a hard time imagining that something like this could ever happen. Many Christians think that our c...
Answers on the Mark of the Beast and the Second Coming of Christ
From: Karen To: Victor Hafichuk Sent: Saturday, April 23, 2016 9:56 PM Subject: thank you for your "Path of Truth" Hello, I have known for many years that the Mark of the Beast wasn’t what was being currently taught. I knew it wasn’t our credit card or a computer chip, or a tattoo. I have known this from almost the time I was saved at age 28 until now age 72. However I have been completely unable to figure it out.  I have bought books on the subject. Many books. They all ended up saying just about the same thing — in one form or another. I had almost given up the idea that I would ever learn what the mark means.  Once more, thanks to Mr. Google, I came upon your web-site. I read what the Seal of God is and now I know what the Mark of the Beast is.  The reason I looked once again is because I just had a phone call from a lady who told me that she didn’t want anything to do with the modern technology, (especially the Smart Phone) because she thinks it will lead to the Mark of the Beast. I said to her, “But we have the Seal of God!” I honestly had no idea what that even meant!! I couldn’t go on to tell her what the Seal of God is, let alone the MOTB. So truthfully, I just agreed with her to rush her off the phone because I am so tired of all this talk and fear of that dreadful MOTB. So then I Googled this; “Is the Mark of the Beast a Spiritual Mark?” I found your web-site. Now I have a new dilemma. Do I send your web-site to her? Does someone who probably...
Working for a Woman 'Pastor'?
From: Juli To: The Path of Truth Sent: Thursday, February 11, 2016 7:13 AM Subject: Thank you. Thank you so much for your site. I worked for a pastor for years here in Missouri and she taught me many of these things regarding the Truth. When she was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 82, we had so many pastors visit and tell her: well read these books and proclaim this or that. At that time, I remembered Job. The first sentence in the book of Job tells us he was a good man- not that he lacked faith. There is so much out there right now that is false, and many are being deceived.  Hosea 4:6 tells us, "My people perish for lack of knowledge." How are we to "love His appearing.." As in 2 Timothy 4:8, when we don't know Him? It seems we are in a time where many do not even attempt to find out if things line up with the Word. I really thought your words about Andrew Wommack were spot on. I couldn't stop reading as these are all things, as a church, we had discussed- and had people tell us we were "overly critical." Well, I just wanted to say thank you for continuing in Truth. We need it in these times. Thanks Again, Pastor Juli From: Paul Cohen and Victor Hafichuk To: Juli Sent: Wednesday, February 17, 2016 7:23 AM Subject: Re: Thank you.  Hi Juli,  Thanks for the feedback. This is the Lord’s site – all His doing. Perhaps you spoke too soon thanking us for the site and for continuing in the Truth. What do you make of this Diabolical Doctrine?  ...
