if you condemn a pastor as False Teacher – shouldn’t you check the Facts?
Facts means Facts, not a litany of accusations by one single party. Did you check whether or not this woman may be mentally disturbed and whether or not her account is true without omitting material Facts? Did you give pastor Torrel a chance to respond prior to publication?
If not, than this posting amounts to slander ipso facto and you become a False Teacher yourself, publishing half truths as truths, backstabbing a fellow pastor!
What you didn’t do, I did: I checked both sides of the events and it is clear that you were taken in by this woman and her agenda obviously fit yours.
I urge you to remove this post as it is clear defamation!

Hi Heinz, Paul Cohen here.
It’s strange that you should criticize Victor for not checking the facts, as if he was only listening to and responding to the experience of Gina with John Torell. You obviously haven’t red the posting to see that Victor’s exposure of John as a false teacher stands irrespective of Gina’s allegations or feelings.
Try again, and bring us facts next time, if you wish to pursue your vain and irresponsible criticism. You won’t find anything contrary in the Word of God to what we’ve posted because it comes from the Word of God.
As for giving John a chance to answer – he’s made his anti-Israel stance public, and his blasphemy by attributing it to God. We’re not dealing with a brother in Christ, whom we would approach on a matter of deviation or unbelief. No, we’re dealing with an anti-Christ here, with whom there’s no talking or reason.

You are absolutely right that one should check the facts before making any judgments of anyone, and not only the facts as one sees them, but the Lord’s will on the matter – facts aren’t enough. And you haven’t done your job.
By no means did we base our critique of John Torell solely on one disgruntled or confounded person’s opinions and accusations. Here’s an excerpt from our writing on Torell that you need to pay attention to before condemning us, doing to us what you accuse us of doing to others:
We have no idea why, and he expects you to take his word for it, giving you no evidence. And he believes he’s a man of God? This man walks by carnal doctrine, not by the faith of the saints and revelation by the Spirit of God.
We’ve been watching here: http://www.eaec.org/sermons/2009/RLJ-1168.htm, “Biblical Truth Concerning the State of Israel – Part 1: Fighting in the Gaza Strip.” We find not only great error and a false claim of hearing the Voice of the Lord, but enmity with Israel, as well. How do these men, with his kind of doctrine, explain away Romans chapters 9 to 11, with passages such as the following?
Romans 11:25-32 MKJV
(25) For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, lest you should be wise within yourselves; that blindness in part has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the nations has comes in.
(26) And so all Israel shall be saved; as it is written, “There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
(27) For this is My covenant with them, when I have taken away their sins.”
(28) Indeed as regards the Gospel, they are enemies for your sakes. But as regards the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
(29) For the free gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
(30) For as you also then disbelieved God, but now have been shown mercy through their disbelief,
(31) even so these also have not believed now, so that through your mercy they may also obtain mercy.
(32) For God has shut up all in unbelief, so that He might show mercy to all.
John’s comparison of Israel’s 2009 war with Gaza, initiated by the Arabs, to the Nazi demolition of the Warsaw ghetto and wholesale slaughter of the Jews, is obscene. That John credits God with this comparison is blasphemous. His presentation is one lie after another, directly opposing the testimony of God in the Holy Scriptures, and we know that He doesn’t contradict Himself or send liars to speak for Him.
We destroy John’s perverse fabrication when addressing another who preaches the same lie, Stephen Jones, in God Keeps His Promises: The Jews in their Land of Israel:
“Jones condemns the Jews for re-establishing Israel (I thought he said they are Edomites! So much confusion!) without first repenting of their unbelief. This is also contrary to the testimony of God to the house of Israel:
‘Then you will know that I am the LORD, because I will bring you to the land of Israel, the land that I promised to give your ancestors. There you will remember the way you lived and everything you did to dishonor yourselves. You will be disgusted by every wrong thing that you did. Then you will know that I am the LORD, because I will deal with you for the sake of My Name. I will not deal with you based on the evil and corrupt things that you have done, nation of Israel, declares the Almighty LORD’ (Ezekiel 20:42-44 GW).
As it is also written:
‘And it shall be in that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour on the house of David, and on the people of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of prayers. And they shall look on Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be bitter over Him, as the bitterness over the first-born. In that day shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem…’ (Zechariah 12:9-11 MKJV).
How is it, Mr. Jones, that Israel, while occupying Jerusalem, comes to a place of repentance regarding the One they have pierced, if as you say, God will not permit them to reoccupy Jerusalem while unrepentant? How is it that God grants them a spirit of grace and prayer, if as you say, He has shut them out from the land and intends to destroy them because of their presumption in existing there? …
The apostle Paul and the prophet Zechariah identify the physical Jews as the recipients of God’s future grace, which reconciles them to Himself through Christ, by His mercy. In this way, Paul boldly and joyfully declares, God brings life from the dead to the whole world:
‘For if their casting away is the reconciling of the world, what is the reception except life from the dead?’ (Romans 11:15 MKJV)
Why do you oppose life from the dead? Because you are dead, a servant of Satan and of the kingdom of darkness, a kingdom you so proudly serve.”

I tell you this in all solemnity, Heinz: Anyone who stands against God’s mighty work of raising up Israel from the ashes in this last day, giving a rebirth to a nation, is asking for trouble and condemning himself. On that basis alone, we condemn John Torell’s calling as not of God. ANY MAN OF GOD will preach the truth and will not stand against Israel.

So no, we didn’t base our criticism of John Torell solely upon Gina’s report, not at all. No slander here, Heinz, but we have somewhat to say to you. How is it you can accuse us of the very thing you are guilty of? How is it you can’t see your error for looking? Is it not because you walk in partiality and darkness? Your eye isn’t single, is it? Examine yourself and see whether you are in faith. We can easily tell you by the Spirit of the Lord that you aren’t in the faith of Christ, but in the doctrines of men.
You are an anti-Semite, aren’t you, ignorantly or otherwise? You are the one who doesn’t have all the facts. Read what we have to say on these matters concerning Israel, which people John Torell condemns. Know that we stand with Paul, Jeremiah, Moses, Ezekiel, Zechariah and other prophets who stand with Israel today, while you and John stand against these men of God and therefore against God.
It cannot go well for you, can it? And look what is now happening with Germany and Europe with this refugee business. Will you escape God’s judgment? Europe has stood against Jews and Israel and so do you. Your consequences will be the same.
We will be posting this correspondence under Torell. If he wishes to defend himself and if either of you can prove us wrong, we will publicly apologize and retract our error. However, that won’t happen, will it? You have nothing of substance. Repent, if it isn’t already too late.
