Hi Vince,

Jesus Christ is the mightiest of names, because He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life – our Lord and Savior – Lord of lords, Almighty God.

In order to honor the Lord Jesus Christ, the Truth, we need to be scrupulous about the truth. You’re spreading a false report about Rick Warren, which only muddies the water about the falsehood that’s already there in Rick’s teaching, adding to general confusion and ill will among men.

I’m not taking Rick’s word alone as the truth here. It’s plain to see that people are running amuck with hearsay, motivated to find fault and exalting themselves with their own little religious fiefdoms instead of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not good, Vincent. You need to be more responsible. If you judge yourself in this matter, you won’t be judged by the Lord.

“But I say to you, that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned” (Matthew 12:36-37 EMTV).

I will say this, Vince: Rick Warren, according to his works and nature, has more in common with Muslims than with the Lord Jesus Christ. The same goes for you. Therefore, these words of the Lord apply to you:

“Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye” (Matthew 7:3-5 ESV).
