Hi Neil,
I would like you to do something, not for me, but for you. Check out www.whatismormonism.com. Will you tell me how you can answer the many claims of the Mormon religion that clearly violate the truth?
When God first called me, in 1978, He drew me to Jesus Christ. I avidly red the Holy Scriptures. At that time I was approached by various religious to convince me of joining their groups. As a young man growing up Jewish in Philadelphia, I knew virtually nothing about the many professing Christian faiths. But God was leading me, and teaching me in the truth. Two missionaries from the Mormon church came to my door one day. They told me to “keep an open mind, and check this out,” handing me the Book of Mormon. I knew very little about Mormonism. They set an appointment to come back to convince me that Mormonism was the true church of God.
So I red some of the Book of Mormon, and when they came back I asked them about the priesthood. Basically, I asked how can they claim to have a Levitical priesthood, when the Bible says that priesthood has been done away with?
“Therefore if perfection were by the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the Law), what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is of necessity a change made in the law also… For truly there is a putting away of the commandment which went before, because of the weakness and unprofitableness of it” (Hebrews 7:11-12,18).
The missionaries had no answers, Neil. I tell you this because God showed me that Mormonism is a lie. I did not need a feeling; He gave me facts. Can you look at the facts presented in the site, and tell me what you do with those?
For the record, I am not prejudiced against the Levitical priesthood. Why should I be? I am a Cohen, descended from Aaron. Only his descendants are called to that priesthood. “But now He (Jesus Christ) has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which was built upon better promises” (Hebrews 8:6). Amen! Glory to God!

We hear back from Andrew the Mormon regarding substantive facts about Mormonism and the Book of Mormon provided by a linked site Victor had sent to him. While making gestures and offering some ideas that suggest otherwise, Andrew offered no hard evidence or facts to the contrary, but instead finally resorted to making a personal attack. Victor answers the arguments and the accusations.
In this series of letters we hear from, and reply to, a man that finds fault with the Mormon religion.
A Mormon woman, Melody, unsubscribed from The Issues of Life. She thinks we are confused. We point out the confusion of her reasoning and behavior as the product of her Mormon teaching, which is in direct conflict with the ways of the Lord Jesus Christ, Whom she professes to follow.
