Diabolical Doctrine: The Bible Is the Ultimate Authority

EnglishSpanish

It has been the inclination of man, even before the Fall, to choose worship of anything other than Jesus Christ, the Only One worthy. Why else would Adam and Eve have chosen to eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil? Besides every sort of creature or cause, they will worship a man of God, as did the Pharisees Moses; they will worship worshipping, as do all religious people; they will worship doctrine, even true doctrine; and they will worship the Holy Scriptures, which testify of Jesus Christ. As they do all these things, they cast Him aside as less worthy.

Consider the alternative to worshipping the Bible: If in spirit and in truth, you worship the Author of the Bible, you’ll be delivered from idolatry and you will understand as never before the Scriptures you’ve worshipped, to the saving of your soul.

Diabolical Doctrine: There Are Many Ways to God
This doctrine is not often preached in nominal Christendom, but it seems a rather strange thing to find so many people professing to be Christians who believe this lie. Yet why should I be surprised to find such in the?church systems, the gates of Hell? Isn’t it written, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird” (Revelation 18:2)?
Diabolical Doctrine: Denominations Are Legitimate in the Sight of God
Satan promotes legitimacy and credibility of his kingdom by glorifying his gates of Hell in order to keep men in darkness and maintain his control over their souls. And men must justify their lawlessness and independence of God, because they worship what, when, where, and how they please. As it is written, “In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes” (Judges 21:25).
Studying Books That Aren’t the Bible
From: Coral To: The Path of Truth Sent: Monday, September 05, 2016 5:56 PM Subject: Seeking Answers Gentlemen and Brothers in Christ: I am confused about some teachings at Church.  We are beginning a new Bible Study this Fall…except it isn’t from the Bible.  It is based on a book by Joyce Meyer, Battlefield of the Mind.  My concern is:  1)  Even though a man is teaching the class, he is using a book written by a woman (whom I believe to be not walking as she should).  Doesn’t that fall under a woman usurping a man’s authority?  And 2) Why would a Bible Study not be from the Word of God?  Why do people feel like they need something other than the Word?  I really don’t want to “start” something and I don’t know who to ask.  I have questions about our Elders being qualified to serve so I’m at a loss.  I look forward to your advice. Diabolical Doctrines: Women Are Ministers of God in Spiritual Authority over Men As for the technicality of discussing a book on spiritual matters found in the Scriptures as a “Bible study,” that’s not really an issue. The issue is whether the book is in harmony with the Bible, coming from the ...
