The first time we met Daphne was in our "Want to Talk?" room. In the entrance form, she wrote:

Describe Your Personal Spiritual Condition or Position: Maybe the things that i've started to make out as my way of how to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, has found its existance a long time ago in my heart. But since this past year, it has become prominent in my thoughts. I'm a born Catholic. But these days i don't feel i belong in that faith no more. It's as if everything about the faith bothers me. I see the church as the one that's playing God over it's followers. People are worshipping the doctrines and sacraments more, and seem to forget about the One and Only whom they they to worship. They don't even know to have a personal relationship with God first, in order for them to keep focus on Him first and foremost. All of this falsehood is just getting to me. The sad thing is that i'm one of them. But i don't wanna be no more. Somehow i feel that its time for me to acknowledge this burning sensation to really seek God and being able to succeed in finding Him. For so long now i'm seeking on the internet, something or someone that i can relate to. On this site i believe that i've found people that in some ways, think and feel like i do.

What Is Your Purpose Here?: My purpose here is to try to find spiritual food in my quest to find the Lord Jesus Christ. Guidance from His own chosen people. To answer questions that i don't have answers for about things that Victor said. Like, why no more Christmas and Easter.

Daphne:
Hi Paul and Sara. Thanks for replying so quickly. My stomach is forming a notch. My hands are sweating. It feels as if i'm talking to the Master Himself. Very strange!
The Path of Truth:
We understand; the Lord is with us, as you can see from our testimonies.
Daphne:
I'm also aware, whilst i was reading the things that you're teaching on this site, that if i choose to part with the Catholic faith, that all hell would break loose amongt my family and friends and the parish that i'm part of. I live in a small town in South Africa, and around here we're living like a close knit family.
The Path of Truth:
In the Lord's dealings with us, we have all seen hell break loose. He draws us to Himself, which necessitates a break from those things that are not with Him, of Him. It is what needs to happen, and it is good!
The Path of Truth:
If God calls one to Himself, it is to be His friend; and how can we be His friend if we are part of the world that is at enmity with Him, as the Scriptures say?
The Path of Truth:
Here is what the Lord has done for us, which we know is true:

“We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the evil one” (1 John 5:19 EMTV).
The Path of Truth:
He comes to deliver you from the sway of the evil one.
Daphne:
Yes, i can understand what you're saying. It does make sense. Somehow, its just frightning. But, somehow, it also makes me feel so exiting! Finally! its seems as if the Lord is taking notice of me. For so long i've got this awareness inside of me, but suddenly it feels 'something' is happening!
The Path of Truth:
Something is happening. You would not be here saying the things you are, if the Lord was not doing something for you. We know that to be true.
Daphne:
I've got this focus-point in my lounge, where i've setup a ‘place of prayer’, as to my Catholic believe. A few months ago, four of the crucifixes that i've collected, fell from the place where it stood. Both times it had happened, i was at work. Only my parents were at home, coz they're living with me and the kids. I'm in the process of divorce. Just so you know. Well, no one was even near the place where it stood. No windows were open or anything. But, deep inside of me, i knew the Lord wanted to make me aware of something. I couldn't figure out why.
The Path of Truth:
Do you understand why now?
Daphne:
Yes, i do. Somehow, i'm just sure. Need to get rid of everything i've collected through the years. Pictures, crosses, etc.
The Path of Truth:
Yes.
Daphne:
Can you tell me why Christmas and Easter mustn't be celebrated?
The Path of Truth:
First, may we say something on this matter of the crucifixes?
Daphne:
Sure!
The Path of Truth:
The Lord will have no competitors and inventions of men, which take His rightful place.
The Path of Truth:
Consider what happened here as instructive in your circumstance:

1 Samuel 5:2-5 MKJV
(2) And the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it beside Dagon.
(3) And when those of Ashdod arose early on the next day, behold, Dagon had fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon and set him in his place again.
(4) And when they arose early on the next morning, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the earth before the ark of Jehovah. And the head of Dagon, and both the palms of his hands, were cut off upon the threshold. Only the stump of Dagon was left to him.
(5) And neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod to this day.

The Lord has come to your house, and He does not allow false gods to stand.
The Path of Truth:
The crucifixes and paraphernalia of the Catholic Church are no different from the heathen gods such as Dagon.
Daphne:
And here i was through all those years, praying and talking the Lord in front of this 'altar', not knowing what i was doing! I thought the Lord was always present in my house!
The Path of Truth:
He is certainly omniscient and omnipresent, being God over everything; but intimacy and fellowship with Him comes by His initiation and the drawing of His Spirit through Jesus Christ. His is the worship of spirit and truth. That is not found in men's works. That is why He says, "Come out of her, My people, and be you separate, and I will receive you. And then you shall be My sons and daughters."
Daphne:
You make it sound so simple. How could i not figure it out myself? 'come out of her, my people, and be you seperate...' clearer than that it could not been said! When i'm taking this first step to leave the Catholic religion, what do i have to do after that?
The Path of Truth:
Your first step is enough. If and when you take that, by the grace of God, He will make known to you what is next.
Daphne:
It sounds exiting!
The Path of Truth:
Christmas and Easter are related to the matter of idols and pagan practices. These celebrations come from idol worship and have not deviated since. They have nothing to do with the Lord, and He has nothing to do with them. We write about these on our site, and you can read much more there.
The Path of Truth:
It is exciting to follow the living God, coming out of dead works and darkness into light.
Daphne:
You know, i can't believe how your explanations make sense to me! I've always wondered about this when its that time of the year! When you stand still and watch how people make use of this time. I was always thinking that, how many of them sit down and really think about the Lord. They always have this program lined up, that i don't see the need for!

Jesus said, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free"!

He also said this:

“Strive to enter in at the narrow gate. For I say to you, many will seek to enter in and shall not be able” (Luke 13:24 MKJV).

I've just discovered your site. Need to do some more reading too! Please feel free to contact me via email if you could find the time to share stuff with me. I feel i've got a lot to learn about our Lord and His Ways. I'm really glad that the Lord has directed me to your spiritual guidance.

I've never thought to understand this saying of the Lord! One must really be in the Lord's hands, to come to take that leap of faith hey!

We have been in touch with Daphne regularly since that conversation. Recently, she sent us this letter of what the Lord has been doing for her:

Hi Victor, Paul,

Somehow i've always felt like i won't know where to begin when someone would confront me out of nowhere about the Truth. To me there must always be a beginning and an end. A story to tell. Over these past months i've been reading your writings and gained knowledge about the true ways of the Lord. But somehow it was all loose facts. (don't know if i'm explaining it right). It made me anxious. I've even told the Lord so. Until now. The Lord guided me in the Scriptures to form a picture about the knowledge of Him that you wrote about on the site and how its all explained in the Scriptures. I'm identifying the same Truths that Paul and the other apostles wrote about in the Scriptures, the very same ways of the cross. Its all in the Scriptures! It all happened to them too! People just don't know that we've all misinterpreted it! Its all there! But then the Lord said:

"And the disciples said to Him [Jesus], Why do You speak to them in parables? He answered and said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them" (Matthew 13:10-11 MKJV)

1Corinthians 2: 7-14
7- But we give the news of the secret wisdom of God, which he had kept in store before the world came into existence, for our glory;
8- Of which not one of the rulers of this world had knowledge: for if they had, they would not have put the Lord of glory on the cross:
9- But as it says in the holy Writings, Things which the eye saw not, and which had not come to the ears or into the heart of man, such things as God has made ready for those who have love for him.
10- But God has given us the revelation of these things through his Spirit, for the Spirit makes search into all things, even the deep things of God.
11- For who has knowledge of the things of a man but the spirit of the man which is in him? in the same way, no one has knowledge of the things of God but the Spirit of God.
12- But we have not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which comes from God, so that we may have knowledge of the things which are freely given to us by God.
13- And these are the things which we say, not in the language of man's wisdom, but in words given to us by the Spirit, judging the things of the spirit by the help of the Spirit.
14- For the natural man is not able to take in the things of the Spirit of God: for they seem foolish to him, and he is not able to have knowledge of them, because such knowledge comes only through the Spirit.

So, then one night i was pondering again after i've read Romans 5:12-21.

Romans 5:12-21
12- For this reason, as through one man sin came into the world, and death because of sin, and so death came to all men, because all have done evil:
13- Because, till the law came, sin was in existence, but sin is not put to the account of anyone when there is no law to be broken.
14- But still death had power from Adam till Moses, even over those who had not done wrong like Adam, who is a picture of him who was to come.
15- But the free giving of God is not like the wrongdoing of man. For if, by the wrongdoing of one man death came to numbers of men, much more did the grace of God, and the free giving by the grace of one man, Jesus Christ, come to men.
16- And the free giving has not the same effect as the sin of one: for the effect of one man's sin was punishment by the decision of God, but the free giving had power to give righteousness to wrongdoers in great number.
17- For, if by the wrongdoing of one, death was ruling through the one, much more will those to whom has come the wealth of grace and the giving of righteousness, be ruling in life through the one, even Jesus Christ.
18- So then, as the effect of one act of wrongdoing was that punishment came on all men, even so the effect of one act of righteousness was righteousness of life for all men.
19- Because, as numbers of men became sinners through the wrongdoing of one man, even so will great numbers get righteousness through the keeping of the word of God by one man.
20- And the law came in addition, to make wrongdoing worse; but where there was much sin, there was much more grace:
21- That, as sin had power in death, so grace might have power through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So, the Lord showed me that to form a picture about He's Truth, i must start at the very beginning. From Adam and Eve. When they were deceived in giving up He's will (the Tree of Life), to trade it for their will ( the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil). They've entered then into the bondage of sin (by giving into their will) and since then committed themselves and the rest of the humans after them, to the ways of Satan. They've died.

How could anyone ever think that they could free themselves out of that bondage? How could anyone think that they could resurrect themselves from the dead?

One just have to define what the word bondage mean. The Lord put an angel by the Tree of Life to guard it day and night! No one was ever allowed to eat from the Tree of Life(He's will). We are in Satan's grip until the Lord decides to grant us to eat from the Tree of Life! All the churches today teach you how it is up to yourself to 'accept' the Lord! To save yourself! No one understands what the word 'bondage' means!

Then God gave us a way out of this bondage! By making an example of He's Son! The Lord Jesus Christ came to die on the cross to be resurrected again into life! He became the second Adam!

The Lord Jesus Christ came to demonstrate to us the ONLY way out of this bondage! One must die to yourself to be resurrected into life again!

One thing i wanted to asked you guys! Is the Lord going to restore His creation to the way it was before Adam and Eve was deceived into eating from the Tree of Knowledge? Remember, the Lord said that everything He had created was Good! So, weren't they living by His will before they've been deceived by Satan?(eating from the Tree of Life?) Satan told them that they would become like God if they eat of the Tree of Knowledge!

But again, we've misinterpreted the Scriptures! People never thought about what the Lord meant by that word that appears so often in the Scriptures! "MYSTERY!" In Afrikaans: "verborgenhede". You know, this word always caught my eye! Always! I was always wondering about this mysteries!

People have put emphasis on the Lord's birth, He's suffering! He's death on the cross they've made idolatries off! Crucifixes must be kissed. The eucharistie they've treated and "magically transformed" into the body of Christ! Wine is 'transformed' into the blood of Christ!

No one ever thought that there can be a different meaning given to the way of the cross!

That night when i went to the parish priest to inform him of my decision to leave the church and why. He was concerned about me not going to be part of the body and blood of the Lord anymore. He was asking me how could anyone live without that! That time i didn't know the Truth like i did now, so i couldn't answer Him properly. I just said that I'm putting my trust in the Lord to guide me. Now i can give him a full explanation! Praise be to God!

We must eat of His body by believing and asking for His grace to enter into repentance. To die to our flesh. By this the cleansing of the sin that darkens your body and soul, starts! Obedience and believing is the key here! Through this obedience one gains entrance into His body through the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 7:4-5
4- In the same way, my brothers, you were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, even to him who came again from the dead, so that we might give fruit to God.
5- For when we were in the flesh, the evil passions which came into being through the law were working in our bodies to give the fruit of death.

Romans 8: 3-6
3- For what the law was not able to do because it was feeble through the flesh, God, sending his Son in the image of the evil flesh, and as an offering for sin, gave his decision against sin in the flesh:
4- So that what was ordered by the law might be done in us, who are living, not in the way of the flesh, but in the way of the Spirit.
5- For those who are living in the way of the flesh give their minds to the things of the flesh, but those who go in the way of the Spirit, to the things of the Spirit.
6- For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:

Through the blood of the Lord, Jesus Christ, we are then washed clean from all iniquities. We've becoming part of the community of saints now! Wearing white garments. We've become part of the Spiritual world now!

Romans 8: 14-17
14- And all those who are guided by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
15- For you did not get the spirit of servants again to put you in fear, but the spirit of sons was given to you, by which we say, Abba, Father.
16- The Spirit is witness with our spirit that we are children of God:
17- And if we are children, we have a right to a part in the heritage; a part in the things of God, together with Christ; so that if we have a part in his pain, we will in the same way have a part in his glory.

This weekend the Lord gave me my first encounter with an unbeliever who challenged me! At first i felt so anxious coz of the way he was approaching me. I then knew my family had discussed me and my "strange ways" with them. He seemed so authoritive! He tried to put me down. But what he didn't know is that he was challenging the Spirit inside of me!

Needless to say, the Spirit took over! I suddenly became calm and collected and full of knowledge! No one was talking! Everybody listened! I could tell him the Truth from the Scriptures starting from the beginning! Right through the way of the cross. How people have misinterpreted it. Emphasizing the unimportant, neglecting the most important part. How the Lord uses evil to teach us the good. How else would one know the difference? He was asking me whats the purpose of the Lord to let his people suffer like this. I was telling him that so one would KNOW and not merely blindly believe that He is Lord. He wants to make His Glory known to them! That He is in control of EVERYTHING! That the Lord Jesus Christ is the One and Only Savior of mankind! No one can save him/herself! No one!

Even in control of the fact that he is challenging me right now! i could see he started to listen. But he still kept on trying to overthrow everything i said! But with no substance! He knew nothing about the Scriptures! A few loose verses that he himself didn't even know where it appears in the Scriptures! It's like the way you've dealt with people in the correspondences, where you prove them wrong with direct quotes from the Scriptures! No one ever prove their points out of the Scriptures! No one!

Well, he try to catch me by asking me if i don't belong to any church, then to whom do i pay my tithe. Then i started to tell him about you and the Path of Truth! I've given him the sites address also. He eventually backed down, coz they had to go back to Cape Town. But i could see he wasn't convinced. There was even moments when i've talked to him like to a child. Taking him by his shoulders. I think he was amazed by my knowledge. We parted on a light note.
He called me the next night to ask the sites address. It was late at night. He didn't try to make conversation. Just asked for the site's address. So, i don't know how far he had come. Don't know if he has an e-mail address.

Well, i can go on and on. Still learning every day. Thanks be to God! You must tell me where i need more clarification in this please!

Hi Daphne!

"And they said to Him, Do you hear what these say? And Jesus said to them, Yes, have you never read, 'Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings You have perfected praise?'" (Matthew 21:16 MKJV)

Amen to what you said to your visitor! We are thankful for God's wisdom and faithfulness. All you need concern yourself with is that He is with you. Never forget that, and you will have a continual feast. But there are also times when it will not seem that way, and so the Lord builds your faith while He removes what is not of faith. As Peter wrote with us in mind:

1 Peter 4:12-19 MKJV
(12) Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial which is to try you, as though a strange thing happened to you,
(13) but rejoice according as you are partakers of Christ's suffering, so that when His glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.
(14) If you are reviled for the Name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of God and of glory rests on you. Truly according to them, He is blasphemed, but according to you He is glorified.
(15) But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or a meddler in the affairs of others.
(16) But if one suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God because of this.
(17) For the time has come for the judgment to begin from the house of God. And if it first begins from us, what will be the end of those disobeying the gospel of God?
(18) And if the righteous one is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
(19) Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing, as to a faithful Creator.

You ask us:

“Is the Lord going to restore His creation to the way it was before Adam and Eve was deceived into eating from the Tree of Knowledge? Remember, the Lord said that everything He had created was Good! So, weren't they living by His will before they've been deceived by Satan?(eating from the Tree of Life?) Satan told them that they would become like God if they eat of the Tree of Knowledge!”

The Lord is making something even better. Otherwise, why would He have let Satan into the garden, knowing the outcome would be man's fall? God would never have created Satan in the first place, and everything could have remained perfect. But was it perfect as God is perfect? No, it wasn't. If it was the finished work of God, man would not have fallen, because we know God cannot be tempted with sin. When the work is finished, man puts away Satan, rather than the other way around.

Therefore, we know that the Lord our God created and put Satan in the garden because he had a job to do with man. The first Adam was not the finished product God had in mind:

1 Corinthians 15:45-49 MKJV
(45) And so it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul," the last Adam was a life-giving Spirit.
(46) But not the spiritual first, but the natural; afterward the spiritual.
(47) The first man was out of earth, earthy; the second Man was the Lord from Heaven.
(48) Such the earthy man, such also the earthy ones. And such the heavenly Man, such also the heavenly ones.
(49) And according as we bore the image of the earthy man, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

It was in God's mind all along to make us like He is, just as Adam and Eve were promised by Satan if they would eat from the Tree of Knowledge. That way brought bondage, as you said. But as you also said:

“How the Lord uses evil to teach us the good. How else would one know the difference? He was asking me whats the purpose of the Lord to let his people suffer like this. I was telling him that so one would KNOW and not merely blindly believe that He is Lord. He wants to make His Glory known to them! That He is in control of EVERYTHING! That the Lord Jesus Christ is the One and Only Savior of mankind! No one can save him/herself! No one!”

So, by the foreknowledge of God, Adam ate from the wrong Tree and took the way of independence so that all could eventually know the right Way of God. Consider how God is in charge doing these things:

“For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but on account of Him Who subjected it in hope; because even the creation itself shall be freed from the slavery of corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God” (Romans 8:20-21 EMTV).

When God made Adam and Eve and the rest of creation, it was good. It was not defiled and destroyed as we see it today. But it was still not the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. That has been the work of God through Jesus Christ, which is now being wrapped up by His appearing in His Body to establish His righteousness on earth. We have much to look forward to in the world to come, which world is within us now, and is what gives us joy in present distress. This world will grow to fill the whole earth, as it is written:

“And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth” (Daniel 2:35 MKJV).
