Here Is the Way It Is

God is. Always was. Always will be. These things can be said only of Him. Therefore, He is above all things; all things are His and He does whatever He pleases with all things. That will never change.

He has created mankind. He has revealed Himself to mankind. He has made man in His own image and has communicated with man. Why wouldn't He communicate with man and continue to do so, if He made him in His image? He has spoken to me. He has spoken to many people - directly, personally.

He has a design for all of His creation, particularly sons of God, sons of His who are born of Him. There is a place in His plan for evil. He has set evil against good and good against evil. When all is said and done, nobody will ever be able to say, “I didn't know.” All will have known evil, the doing of evil and its awful consequences.

That is what sin is - man choosing that which is right in his own eyes.

To teach us the difference between good and evil, God has made known to us His laws. We find these recorded most authentically and anciently in what we call the Holy Scriptures - the Bible - including both Old and New Testaments. The Bible is the one, true, authoritative book written and compiled by God through men throughout not just centuries but millennia. This book gives us an idea of Who God is and what He is like. It also gives a record of the process of about 4,OOO years of God’s dealings with mankind and making man into His image. It tells of that calling out of individuals from fellow mankind, of their battles against all evil to try them, to mold them and to prepare them for a higher calling. It tells of how mankind is utterly helpless to conquer evil, man being sold out and overcome by it, and how he absolutely, without exception, needs a power outside of and above himself to deliver him from the power of evil that works not so much outside of, but within, him. It finally and mostly tells of God taking the initiative to reveal Himself to mankind, to save him from the power of sin. Man had come under the power of sin by choosing for himself that which he thought was best and which he wanted for himself. That is what sin is - man choosing for himself that which is right in his own eyes.

A spirit of pride and independence reigns in the depth of every soul with such tyranny that only God, by laying down His own independence on behalf of man, could deliver man from it. God has done this by becoming man, in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, to redeem man in his dimension. Jesus Christ was, in the flesh, the embodiment of the law of God, and of God, and of a man as he is called to live in the sight of God, as a son (daughter) of God. Jesus Christ is the unique two-way bridge between man and God.

Man was subjected to doing his own thing so that he would learn the hard way, the only way we can and must all learn, that good pays and that evil does not. What is evil? Evil is to conduct oneself in any manner or matter contrary to the will and ways of God. When one does evil, one sins and when one sins, he/she loses control, and immediately becomes subject to sin, having no alternative but to serve sin. There is, however, a way out, and only one way. Jesus Christ, as a man empowered by God and in the person of God, laid down His life for every sinner. He took up that life again after 3 days in the grave to live forevermore not only in Himself but also in all those who believe.

To worship God is to hear what He has to say, believe it, and obey.

How can we be saved from sin, from the power of evil? There is only one way, and that is to believe - to believe that the Lord Jesus Christ overcame evil and sin and death itself, the consequence of sin, by submitting Himself to death and coming back to life for our sakes. In this He has established the right to be Lord of all, and all worship is due to Him and Him alone. He established this honor by loving us entirely. It is not only an honor to Him that we should worship Him and Him alone but it is the highest of honors to us, a great privilege to have the right and opportunity to worship Him, so great He is - in character, in virtue, in person.

To worship God is to hear what He has to say, believe it, and obey. It is to keep His laws and His commands, both general and especially personal. How does one believe? By hearing what God says. How does one hear? As it is written:

“How then shall they call on Him in Whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10:14-15)

How does one know a messenger is of God or not? This is purely a gift of God. If God does not give it to be known it shall not be known. But the pure in heart will be given to know. Who are the pure in heart? Those who, at all costs, are committed to walk in the truth, to do right, to do justice towards one and all - no respect of persons, no exceptions. This is also a gift of God because man is sold out and under the tyranny of doing the opposite of God's will.

Worship of God is not attending church or church services, reading the Bible, telling others about God, praying, fasting, tithing, giving to the poor, living cleanly, or abstaining from alcohol, drugs, tobacco, movies, and/or make-up. Worship of God is not being a pastor, elder or priest, singing in the choir, wearing special clothes, preaching, or any other religious activity. Satan says these things are godly. I come in Christ to refute what Satan says by telling the truth. These things can be substitutes for the true worship of God. Did not the Pharisees do all these things? Does not the Bible teach that they not only did not worship God but, as children of Satan, they crucified the Lord Jesus? There you have it. Worship of God is not those things in themselves.

Willingness alone is not what He speaks of. We must do.

But man in sin worships himself, and his heart, soul, mind and strength are given over to that end. He will do anything to avoid the worship of God. Why? Because to be in true worship of God, one must cease worshiping himself. One must die. There is only one way to be accepted of God and that is to be identified, by the power and grace of God, through faith, with the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. While He did it all for us, it is required of us to follow and to identify with Him in His death. There is no other way. This means not only repentance from sin (the breaking of God's laws) but forsaking all that serves us, all that is near and dear to us. That is precisely why Jesus said that we are unworthy of Him if we are not prepared to forsake all and die, taking up the cross to follow Him. Willingness alone is not what He speaks of. We must do. There is a difference of night and day between speaking and doing. This is where the division comes between the real and the unreal, the true and the false, the sincere and the hypocrites, the sheep and the goats.

Many profess to believe in God and to do His will. There is no shortage of professors of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and if all those who claimed to believe truly did, this would be a very different world in which to live. Many think they are willing but when the time comes for them to take up the cross, they demonstrate their utter incapability and unwillingness to do so. The nature of flesh is to avoid suffering and death, not to submit to it. Hence our need for a Savior and grace to obey.

Harsher words were not spoken by Jesus than those to the hypocrite.

Remarkably, many who profess but do not believe do not directly repudiate the truth of God, but rather substitute for what He really wants. They, as Cain, bring to God offerings, works, all sorts of religious activities, with their mouths praising God and instructing others to do so, thinking that God will receive them and will be unable to reject them, though they did not do as He required. These deceive themselves and work in vain.

Not only do they work in vain but there is no greater way to displease God. It is an insult to His intelligence, and as He is all intelligent, the insult is absolute; it is rebellion; it is the sin of King Saul of Israel to whom the prophet Samuel spoke saying that obedience was better than sacrifice (an understatement) and that the sin of rebellion was as witchcraft (not an overstatement); it is hypocrisy, saying one thing and acting as though all is good, but doing another and performing only good-looking evil in the sight of God and man.

As it is written, “The haters of the Lord would pretend submission to Him” (Ps. 81:15). Harsher words were never spoken by Jesus than those He spoke to the hypocrite. It was the religious workers with whom Jesus had His problems, not the general masses, not even the Romans. It was always that way - religious Cain slew righteous Abel; the religious “people of God" stoned and persecuted the saints and prophets all throughout history, and in the Lord's day, crucified Him.

Jesus came to give us life, which is worshipping Him in spirit and in truth, not in this mountain or that, not even in Jerusalem. Today, we have many Jerusalems and mountains (church denominations and religious organizations) but God is nowhere to be found in them. He is not there. Rather, He is. When we worship in spirit and truth, He is.

Many deceive themselves on mountains, in groves, in their churches. They think that they please God by church-going but they displease Him instead; they think that by memorizing Scripture they please Him, but hiding His Word in their hearts is far more praiseworthy to Him than hiding it in their heads; they think that social manners are His delight but He despises the appearance without the essence; they think that witnessing wins His favor but they only serve to create twice the children of hell they are themselves; they think they please God in their prayer lists and much repetitions but God sees in these only the practices and ways of the heathen and their prayers are abomination to Him. In their skimpy tithes and offerings and in their purchases of fancy buildings and hirelings to do their bidding, they do not serve Him but themselves. All these things they do in the guise of serving the Lord Jesus Christ; they have deceived themselves into believing they do God a service while they persecute those who really do worship God.

Here is the way it is. Where there is a church service (whatever that is - no such thing is described in Scripture), God is not there. He is not in any systematic religious order. These ways are antagonistic to Him. These things are as touching the apple of His eye (try poking at someone’s eye and see the reaction).

Obedience is a pillar in the walk with God and the essence of it.

The religious demonstrate their true colors when those who worship God in spirit and truth appear on the scene. They scoff, as prophesied of them. They scorn true righteousness, that righteousness which is by faith and not works. They despise the small, the simple, the strange, the unconventional, the nonconforming, that which is outside the establishment, that by which God chooses to demonstrate His glory and power.

If called of God, you are called of God to walk in the truth and to live it. Obedience is a pillar in the walk with God and the essence of it. “He that has My commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves Me....” His title of LORD underscores the element of obedience, but while many say, “Lord, Lord,” they refuse or neglect to obey. They offer services and sacrifices and omit the law of God, which is required of us to keep as always. I am called a cult (whatever that is) for teaching this. However, let scoffers beware. I am sent of God and those who are not offended in me but who receive and do what I say will be blessed and will find the peace and prosperity of God. Those who stop their ears and go their way will be as all those in the day of Noah. The Lord is finished winking. This is the way it is.

Now, can one stand and point one's finger at the churches and criticize them for their hypocrisies and falsehood and thus be justified? No way. Recognizing falsehood is not salvation or justification. Though God would rather you stand against Him and be forthright about it than be a false friend as many religious who profess to love Him but don't, still you fall far short of His favor and suffer His wrath. If you are going to be honest about others, criticizing them, then you'd better be honest and critical of yourself because, whether hypocritical or not, you are in death outside of true worship of God. You will not be able to excuse yourself because others were bad or worse than yourself. On this the Scriptures are clear: Sin, independence of God and God's laws and Lordship, brings failure, loss, destruction, and death. Embracing Him brings life.

Resist and you will perish; believe and obey and you will prosper.

You have no choice, you say. That's true; you have no choice. But then you aren't God, and you never were. You have never been in a position to argue or compete with Him, and you are not capable of standing against Him, which only in foolishness would you wish to do. He can do what He wants with what He has, and you do not have the right to find fault or complain against Him, as if you were your own. That is the way it is. Resist and you will perish; believe and obey and you will prosper. Stay away from destructive religion; get real and submit to God, do as He says and you will have true religion that is life.

I am here sent of God to teach His ways and to deliver those that are appointed to life from the works of men, the paths of the destroyer, the religious systems of the world, the flesh and the devil. I am here to deliver those appointed to life from lies taught as truths, from the other Jesuses that are preached, and to bring them to a knowledge of the One, True God and Father and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who was crucified for us, raised from the dead and to Whom, one day, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord of all.

The day of the Lord is here. God is finished winking. None can hide any longer in their cozy corners, pretending. I come in His Name. If you are not with me, you are against God. That is the way it is. Repent. Come and learn from me. You will find it very different from all religion you have known. It will require that you subject everything in your sphere of existence to the scrutiny and judgment of God. It will not be a matter of “blind faith.” You will know what is the right thing to do; you will not only take my word for it. In many cases, I will be given only to verbalize what you already know to be true and you will surely hear from God yourself.

Count the cost before you start.

I have tried the way that I have taken these past decades and discovered it to be true. All other ways have also proven to be wrong. I have staked my life on this way, and having proven it, I have counseled others to follow. The way I have taken, hard as it has been, is the way of God and now it is openly offered to all. It is not a way of religion but of reality; it is not a way of “churchianity” but of spirit and truth; it is not a way of works but of faith; it is not a way of man but the way of God. Come, submit to me, follow me and you will know that I speak the truth (by the grace of God because I am a mere man saved from sin myself), because you will find rest, peace, purpose, prosperity.

Heed this warning: It will not be easy; it will be very difficult; you will suffer; things will not be as you expected; your world will be turned upside down (Acts 17:5-9). Read the gospel of Matthew, chapter 10:16-42. Count the cost before you start. I can only say that the reward is there, quite surpassing the cost. That is the way it is. Truly, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain in committing your way unto God as it is meant to be done. Indeed, you will find God.
