Subscribing to Our Updates

We offer you an easy way to keep in touch with what is happening at The Path of Truth. Here are two services to update you when we post something new on our site, including Notice Board postings, articles and letters in "What's New?" and new features.

To receive these updates by e-mail, "Create an Alert" will send you an e-mail with descriptions and links to our new postings. To have access through your internet browser, "Subscribe to Our RSS Feed."

Don't worry if you are not familiar with these concepts; they are both easy to do and require no extra work or expertise after installation. We will walk you through the simple steps, and we are here to answer any questions you might have.

Create an Alert

The first option we offer is also the one we recommend: "Create an Alert." It provides you automatically with e-mails that contain summaries of our new postings and the links to our pages. (This service requires a Yahoo! account. If you don't have one, it is very simple to sign up.) You can ask Yahoo! to send these notices to any e-mail address you like.

1. After you click "Create an Alert," you will be asked to "Enter the URL for a web site's RSS feed." Copy and paste the following:

http://www.thepathoftruth.com/feed.xml

2. In the field, "Choose how often you want Alerts delivered," select "Once a day, if there are changes."

3a. In the field, "Deliver to," put a checkmark in "Email." If the e-mail address beside that option is the one you want to use, press "Save Alert."

3b. If you want to select a different e-mail address, press the arrow beside your e-mail address. You can either select another address or press "Add an email address" to give Yahoo! the e-mail address you want to use.

3c. If you pressed "Add an email address," Yahoo! will ask you to verify your address (press "Verify" in the e-mail message they send you at that address) before you start receiving your website updates.

Subscribe to Our RSS Feed (top)

Use this function if you wish to use an RSS feed reader, a free service that displays our website updates. By choosing whichever easy-to-use program you prefer, you will have easy access to all of our updates.

(If you are unfamiliar with RSS feeds, we recommend "Create an Alert," so you can have our website updates delivered straight to your e-mail address.)

When you click on "Subscribe to Our RSS Feed," you will see a window at the top left that says "Subscribe to this feed using" with a dropdown menu offering a few choices.

Live Bookmarks will install a button in the top bar of your internet browser with the title "The Path of Truth." Click on that button to see the titles of our new articles. Click the title of our new article to read it.

Google Homepage will put "The Path of Truth" and other articles or feeds of interest on your Google homepage - www.google.com.
