Our
Correspondence with Robert Bayuk
At the time that Robert's
Letter to the Editor was posted in the Helena IR, he also sent this letter.
Robert's note to The Path of Truth:
Mr. Cohen has a severe mental disorder that
could possibly be treated with heavy duty medication. He is delusional
and his delusions are not only harmful to children but now have expanded
into our community. Please urge him to seek therapeutic assistance
from any of the local therapists in our community who would be more
than willing to assist him with his sickness. Thank you for your time.
Victor's reply:
We will give you this much time and attention,
Robert:
There are several of us here who are one in mind and spirit with Mr.
Cohen, so how does one explain identical mental disorder with many
persons all at once? If we were to pay any attention to your remarks,
that would indeed be foolish and highly delusional, would it not?
You have given us your judgmental opinion with no substance whatsoever.
Who are you to make judgments? Your note is one of a loser who tries
to be something when he is nothing and pretends to know something
when he knows nothing. Furthermore, you are a poor, bitter, and miserable
miscreant with no good contribution at all to the community for which
you presume to speak. It is you who are dangerous to children, Robert,
and Mr. Cohen has been granted the knowledge, integrity, and holy desire
to see good and not evil done in the community, for all concerned,
and not just for children. Obviously, one cannot say the same for you.
Let the Lord deal with you as He wills, and He is.
Victor Hafichuk
Robert's response:
Please advise me who granted Mr. Cohen "the knowledge, integrity
and holy desire to see good" that you speak of in your hateful
response to my deep concern about an obviously mentally ill individual?
Thank you.
Victor's reply:
To the Lord Jesus Christ belong the credit and the glory, Robert.
He is the One Who turned us from our sins and cleansed us to have a
proper and wholesome mind and love for His creation.
He is the One Who said that it is disgusting for a man to have sex
with another man. He is the One Who sent the angels to see what was
happening in Sodom, when they were greeted by men who intended to rape
them. He is the One Who destroyed those wicked men with fire from Heaven.
Hateful? This much can be said: He does not tolerate sexually-deviant
murderers.
Is my letter hateful? No, you find it that way because you find the
truth to be contrary to you. We do not hate you, but we bear witness
to the truth.
Your defense of your sin has made you a murderer: “Whoever hates
his brother is a murderer” (1 John 3:15). You hate us and lie
about us because we have spoken the Truth. If accusing without foundation
or knowledge is the best you can do to express “deep concern,” you
are a phony and one in the depth of great misery. You fool no one but
yourself.
Now we will see what the Lord does with you.
Victor
Robert's reply:
Mr. Hafichuk, I need to correct a few bad presumptions you have made.
You called me "a loser" and "a poor, bitter miserable
miscreant." These statements are hateful and you know there are
because if someone referred to you this way, you would certainly be
justified in calling it hateful. Also I do not hate you nor have I
lied about you. These are figments of your imagination. In fact I have
not called you single, solitary degrading thing, whereas you cannot
make the same claim about your correspondence to me. Truth? You lack
the ability to understand it at all.
Paul's reply:
Robert, you have lied. How did you think you would
get away with trying to fool us with this lame reasoning? Remember,
you wrote us first,
saying that I am delusional, needing medication and psychiatric help.
You gave no basis, however, for your diagnosis. That is because you
are the one who is speaking out of hate and delusion and have no basis
in Truth. You showed us your hand and your tongue, and we have used
those to properly assess your condition. We have told you the Truth.
The Truth is not hateful, but lies and false accusations come from
hate.
Why do you hate? Because you love your sins and do not want the Light
to be shone on them. As we have told you from God, the liar is also
a murderer. That is what you are, and no amount of fine words or good
works can cover over your true nature. Cain couldn’t get away
with it, and neither can you. Others may be fooled, but God is not,
and He is all that matters.
Here is the point: You don’t have to remain a loser, a bitter
and miserable miscreant. That is why we are talking to you. If and
when you turn from your sins, you too can be cleansed from your lying
wretchedness and sins by the blood of Christ. He died for you no less
than for us. We are no better than you; only the grace of God separates
us.
Now tell us what we do not understand, and what you do understand.
Paul Cohen
Robert's response:
Diagnosis: you suffer from Narcissism, OCD, Personality Disorder and
Passive/Aggressive Disorder, all in rather extreme cases. Meanwhile
your group has called me a liar, a murderer, a loser, a bitter and
miserable miscreant, a lying wretch, a victim as well as unreasonable.
These are hateful and you know it. You were told by the Lewis & Clark
Library (after reviewing your request to have "The Joy of Gay
Sex" taken out of their collection) that they would not remove
this book. Yet because you didn't like this answer you decided to take
your cause to the press, knowing full well you would have others in
this community who would support your efforts. You used the press to
get your case heard, rather than accept what the Library told you -
which was "No." Now you want me to accept your rant as truth,
yet when I'm not willing to accept your answer I'm deemed all of the
hateful terms you have tossed in my direction. Tsk, tsk, Mr. Cohen!
You have been caught in a web of your own lies but don't want to accept
it. So now you will point your finger at others who disagree with you
and accuse them of being misguided. When you point a finger at me,
Mr. Cohen, you have three pointing at yourself.
Paul's reply:
When doctors give a diagnosis, they base it on observable symptoms
and data. You have nothing. What you do have is umbrage over the clinical
description we have given of your behavior, which you initiated with
your contact. You are the proverbial childish brat that picks a fight
and then responds vindictively with whatever words are the worst ones
he knows after getting his comeuppance. We have not, however, returned
in kind; we merely told you the Truth.
You are also lying about what I did regarding my testimony against
the pornographic and immoral homosexual book. I never went to the press.
The library invited me to come speak at the first board meeting as
to why they made the wrong decision, which I did. The press sought
me out after this was made public knowledge by the library. I agreed
as a public service, in order that as many people as possible might
hear the important reasons for taking this vile book out of the library,
even though I knew the press could be counted on to censor and take
out of context the things I said.
The press and the public have been predominately in favor of the library’s
decision, both of which I expected, so your conclusion about my motives
is based on incorrect deductions.
You write as if I committed a crime by asking for an open hearing
on the matter, when it was my right as a citizen to do so, as I was
informed by the library. They invited me to call for the hearing at
the end of the first board meeting. Many hypocritically call me anti-free
speech for talking about getting rid of immoral trash, but that precisely
describes attitudes like yours, that will do anything to shut me up.
But whether men recognize the speaking of the Truth of God as a right
or not, it is our duty and honor to do so. Your homosexual activities,
or support of them, and particularly your willingness to promote them
to the world are sinful, and God would have you to know that. He is
angry at the flagrant disregard for His Laws and the impudence of those
who would try to shut out His voice. He will not stand for it any longer.
The public record on our website shows that no one can or has effectively
argued against the Commandments of God and His wisdom in this matter.
So live in your fantasy world, Robert, as you wish, and believe whatever
you want to believe. Reality will eventually catch up with you.
Paul
Victor's reply:
Robert, it is apparent that you are the narcissist. Who asked you
for your “diagnosis,” as though we are on your couch, asking
for help or even attention? You are highly presumptuous, childishly
playing doctor with us.
We have already told you that there is no hate here for you. We have
called you what we have called you based on fact, and you don’t
like it. Miscreant: “a person without moral scruples,” and,
we define morality by God’s definition, not yours or even ours.
The Bible, His Word, is clear on God’s definition. And if your definitions for mental
disorders include personal
knowledge of, and faith in, God, then so be it, we are mentally disordered. Your
judgment of this, however, is of no value whatever to us or to God.
As to being dissatisfied with, and rejecting, the library’s
response, you are right. Why should we accept it? So that we can
prove to you that we are not narcissists? Are those at the library
infallible and authoritative? We think not. If that perspective is
another indication to you of our “illness,” go where you
please with it. However, what you sow, you reap.
You are finished, Robert, you and your flimsy, pretentious chair you
call a throne; God has visited you by us, and that will, by nature
and of necessity, change your course, to be manifest in due time. Repent
of your sins; you are now facing judgment. It is not our judgment but
God’s. We have spoken as His servants, and the Bible has an abundance
of testimony that we are not the first or the only ones, by any means.
But you don’t believe
God speaks, or that He speaks today, and especially that He speaks
to us;
you don’t
even believe He is. So don’t believe us; find out the hard way.
Victor
Robert's reply:
Sometimes the devil, comes as a man of peace.
Victor's reply:
You are right, in part, Robert. We would say that far more often than
not, the devil comes as a man of peace. As you should know by now,
we have not come that way, have we? The peculiar thing of it is that
you are ready to accept a devil in the guise of a man of peace. And
you reject those who appear to you as devils, speaking the necessary
truth, of which there are precious few.
Matthew 10:34-42 MKJV
(34) Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth. I did
not come to send peace, but a sword.
(35) For I have come to set a man against his father, and the daughter
against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
(36) And a man's foes shall be those of his own household.
(37) He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me.
And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
(38) And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy
of Me.
(39) He who finds his life shall lose it. And he who loses his life
for My sake shall find it.
(40) He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives
Him Who sent Me.
(41) He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive
a prophet's reward. And he who receives a just one in the name of a
just one will receive a just one's reward.
(42) And whoever shall give to one of these little ones a cup of cold
water to drink, only in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you,
He shall in no way lose his reward.
Robert's reply:
Your righteousness is truly remarkable. You can not be swayed in what
you believe, no one or thing, can replace the joy and love God has
placed in your heart. You are able to look men in the eye and can know
the truth which lies within them. When you die, you will be able to
look God in His countenance and know, without any doubt, that you did
His work on earth. You have such grace and dignity. It must pain you,
however, to look at this enormous globe of ours and know there are
so many millions and millions of people who are unclean, who do not
share your love of the Lord and who choose earthly pleasures instead
of succumbing to God's divinity. You are divine yourself. You are not
capable anymore, as you where before God spoke so eloquently to you,
of lying. In fact, sin is foreign to you. You must have a presence
about you when you walk into a room. You are filled with the grace
of God. It must radiate from your core. To be near you, would be to
be near God. Yet you suffer. You suffer because of the tremendous magnitude
of labor still needed to transform black souls into clean souls. God
must speak to you every day. Every night. This mortal coil is spinning
out of control. Yet you speak the Truth. The Truth. If only men would
open their eyes and their hearts. If only men would open their souls.
If only…
Victor's reply:
Now, Robert, the colors begin to come out for others to see. We saw
them in the very beginning, though we were not the only ones to see.
However, you are right about many things here, in all truth. You happen
to be “full of Bible truth.” Get this:
Our righteousness is truly remarkable, because it is not ours, as
yours is. We have the Lord’s righteousness, a rare thing today.
And it is true that we cannot be swayed in what we believe because
we have met God and He has revealed Himself to us.
He has chastened and corrected us. Because of that, no one
or thing, can replace the joy and love God has placed in our hearts.
You are right, again.
Yes, we can look men in the eye and know the truth
that lies within them, or the lie that tells the truth about them.
But you are still wrong on some things:
We don’t have to wait until we die to look God in His
countenance. We have that awesome privilege and ability now,
not because there is anything special in and of ourselves, but we are
able to do so by His grace. He does His work on earth by us as we speak.
I do not say this because I expect you to believe or to be impressed.
I say it because it is true and because I can say it and rejoice in
the fact.
Do you think we have grace and dignity? We do, but you can’t
see it because your sin blinds you.
Pain? At one time, we were a part of the cause of His pain, but now
we do indeed share it with Him. Yes, it does pain us to see the millions
of unclean people living for pleasure. It pains us only because it
pains God, and His heart beats in us. All are hurting, you above many,
and it hurts Him to see you hurt, but we also know that He will make
things right with all men in the end, including you. That is all we
need to know.
Right again – we are divine. The Bible says:
“But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become
the children of God, to those who believe on His Name, who were born,
not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,
but were born of God” (John 1:12-13 MKJV).
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons
of God” (Romans 8:14 MKJV).
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus” (Galatians
3:26 MKJV).
And here are we spoken of and instructed in the midst of people such
as you:
“Do all things without murmurings and disputings, so that you
may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in
the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. Among these you shine as
lights in the world, holding forth the Word of Life, so that I may
rejoice with you in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain
nor labored in vain” (Philippians 2:14-16 MKJV).
Ah, we dispute, don’t we? But we do so not for ourselves or
for earthly gain. (This is no way to gain anything on earth, is it,
Robert?) We contend for the faith:
“Having made all haste to write to you about the common salvation,
beloved, I had need to write to you to exhort you to contend
earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3 MKJV).
And here is why we dispute or contend:
“For certain men crept in secretly, those having been of old
previously written into this condemnation, ungodly ones perverting
the grace of our God for unbridled lust, and denying the only Master,
God, even our Lord Jesus Christ” (Jude 1:4 MKJV).
Does that remind you of anyone, Robert?
Yes, by His grace, sin is now foreign to us. That is precisely why
Christ died for us, not only so that we would be delivered from the
penalty of sin, as false teachers claiming His Name deceitfully proclaim,
but also that we might be delivered from the power of sin itself. He
has not only wiped the debt slate clean, He has given us a new slate
- He has given us a new nature. That is what true Christianity is all
about. It is not about retaining the old nature and ignoring or wistfully
overlooking its corruption; it is about replacing that vile nature
with a new and holy one, one in His likeness, fathered by Him and Him
alone. That, our deliberate enemy, is what it means to be a Christian.
Have you ever heard anything like it before? It happens. It is a miracle.
God does it. He has done it with and for us. Read all about it.
As to the Presence with us, many have testified of It. The Bible again
testifies of this very thing:
“Now thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ,
and He revealing through us the odor of the knowledge of Him in every
place. For we are to God a sweet savor of Christ, in those being saved,
and in those being lost; to the one we are the savor of death to death,
and to the other we are the savor of life to life. And who is sufficient
for these things? For we are not as many, hawking the Word of God;
but as of sincerity, but as of God, we speak in Christ in the sight
of God” (2 Corinthians 2:14-17 MKJV).
Some love the Presence, and as with you, some hate it. Isn’t
it remarkable that you say true and right things about us, yet believe
none of them, speaking them in bitterness, enmity, unbelief, and sarcasm?
And yes, we are filled with the grace of God, as are all disciples
of Christ:
“And the apostles gave witness of the resurrection of the Lord
Jesus with great power. And great grace was on them all” (Acts
4:33 MKJV).
“Through Him we also have access by faith into this grace in
which we stand, and we rejoice on the hope of the glory of God” (Romans
5:2 MKJV).
We have received and experienced a wonderful promise, the very one
to which you refer:
“For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under
Law, but under grace” (Romans 6:14 MKJV).
“I thank my God always on your behalf for the grace of God given
you in Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 1:4 MKJV).
So yes, Robert, we do indeed have that grace, and it does radiate,
for those with eyes to see. Are you jealous? But while Jesus Himself,
while in His flesh on earth, was full of grace and truth, men killed
Him because they hated His grace. How strange, don’t you think?
He was full of grace, ready to bestow it on all who believed, and they
hated Him for it, even as you do now.
And what happened to His murderers, Robert? Within forty years, Israel,
Judah, Jerusalem, and the Temple were no more. “His blood be
upon us and upon our children!” they cried as they shouted for
His crucifixion.
And it was! Little did they know their death sentence was coming out
of their mouths! Is it not the same with you? You do not realize how
you are reviling the One Who died for your ugliness.
Indeed, to be near us is to be near God, because we come by His will
and direction. He said this:
“He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives
Him Who sent Me” (Matthew 10:40 MKJV).
You see, these things are not mental disorders, Robert. We simply
believe what God and His men have already said in the Scriptures. I
realize I am speaking to an unbelieving and stubborn, cynical fool,
but I say this out of joy because it is true, and I say it for your
sake, so that the seeds of Truth will be planted, so that one day you
will know that what you spoke venomously against us was indeed true.
You will know this the day you enter into that same grace we now possess,
and of which you mockingly bear witness.
You say we suffer? Yes, we do suffer. Christ suffered and we with
Him, as the Scriptures testify:
“For to you it is given on behalf of Christ not only to believe
on Him, but also to suffer for His sake” (Philippians 1:29 MKJV).
“And if we are children, then we are heirs; heirs of God and
joint-heirs with Christ; so that if we suffer with Him, we may also
be glorified together” (Romans 8:17 MKJV).
“For to this we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust
in the living God, Who is the preserver of all men, especially of those
who believe” (1 Timothy 4:10 MKJV).
And here is our reward (which we already have by the way):
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him,
He also will deny us” (2 Timothy 2:12 MKJV).
“Yea, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will
be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12 MKJV).
Should we deny Him because you and so many disagree with us, Robert?
And of course, if we are His sons, why would He not speak to His children
every day? Of course, He does! Here is what Jesus said:
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John
10:27 MKJV).
That we do! We are His sheep and He is our faithful Shepherd.
Is this “mortal coil spinning out of control”? Not at
all. He is in perfect control over all things. He reigns over both
good and evil. He has ordained His vessels both of honor and dishonor,
to demonstrate to those He is forming in His image the folly of iniquity
and the reward of good. We have known both; we like the latter much better.
“If only men would open their eyes and their hearts,” you
think we say? You are wrong here, Robert. We know that no man can open
his eyes or heart or soul. We couldn’t do it and neither can
you. That is what grace is all about. He does it, or it doesn’t
get done. He did it for us, and most of what you have cynically said
here of us is absolutely true!
Where did you get all this, Robert? You have had some Christian religion
and Bible background to gain some knowledge and ability to express
these things. The thing is that you have had nobody to teach and guide
you aright. Why? Because it has not been given to you. You prefer your
sins for now. You prefer to be God’s and our enemy, to your destruction.
So be it. God has not bestowed His grace on you. Instead, you have
had His wrath, for it is written:
“He who believes on the Son has everlasting life, and he who
does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides
upon him” (John 3:36 MKJV).
However, it also says:
“But the righteousness of faith says this: ‘Do not say
in your heart, Who shall ascend into Heaven?’ that is, to bring
Christ down; or ‘Who shall descend into the deep?’; that
is, to bring up Christ again from the dead. But what does it say? ‘The
Word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart’; that
is, the Word of Faith which we proclaim; Because if you confess the
Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from
the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart one believes unto
righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation. For
the Scripture says, ‘Everyone believing on Him shall not be put
to shame.’ For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek,
for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call on Him. For everyone, ‘whoever
shall call on the Name of the Lord will be saved’” (Romans
10:6-13 MKJV).
Maybe it’s your time, but likely not. You are too earnest for
evil, near as I can tell. So be it. But I write for your future, whether
this life or another.
His son, His servant, in all thankfulness, by His grace,
Victor
