Definition of False Teacher: One
who presumes to teach in the Name of the Lord when God has not sent
him.
Ray Prinzing - Fleshly Works of Self-Righteousness
Lenella Maxwell replied to our introduction
letter to The Issues of Life:
Why have I become the recipient of this e-mail? Why am I being subjected
to words of hatred when I have done nothing to deserve this. You know
nothing of me yet you judge me which God says that no man has the right
to just another only God Himself has that right. What goes on in my
prayer closet stays there between God and myself. I am hurt and offended.
The website that I am creating for my mentor is www.pathwayoftruth.com
[site now defunct]. He has never spoken so negatively about anyone
or accused anyone as you have in this e-mail. My spirit is wounded.
Paul’s reply:
Greetings in the Lord Jesus Christ, Lenella,
We did not know you, though we do now after having been introduced
to you by your reply and web site. We have not written to you, or any
other person, in hatred. Did John the Baptist, who called the multitudes
to repentance (whom he also did not personally know), speak from hatred?
He certainly didn't spare them the hard and unpalatable (to the flesh)
truth (Luke 3:7-9). What about Jesus? He spoke harsh words to the Pharisees,
which caused the religious lawyers to complain to Him of being offended,
just as you do:
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you are
as the unseen tombs, and the men walking above do not know. And answering,
one of the lawyers said to Him, Teacher, saying these things
you also insult us” (Luke 11:44-45 LITV).
What did Jesus say in return to those who complained? “Oh sorry,
I forgot that no man should speak the truth and judgment of God”?
No, He also told these religious the truth, because God loves the truth
that saves and hates the lies that destroy. So do all those in Him.
Here is what Jesus said:
“Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens grievous
to be carried, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one
of your fingers. Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets,
and your fathers killed them. Truly you bear witness that you consent
to the deeds of your fathers. For they indeed killed them, and you
build their tombs” (Luke 11:46-48 MKJV).
Your taking offense at our words reveals to us that the judgment we
have spoken applies to you, just as the Lord’s words applied
to the religious hypocrites of His day. You have demonstrated that
the shoe indeed fits.
Others have not taken the same offense as you have. One woman wrote
us back at the same time you did, saying, “Thank
you for the Issues of Life....I appreciate your thoughtfulness in adding
me to
your mailing list. Did you send me your link because you saw something
in [my writings] that needed exhorting or correcting spiritually? Please
be frank; I don’t take hints too well....Your site has so much
material, it will take some time to get through it. But what I did
see, I agreed with....Looking forward to reading more of Issues of
Life....”
While you may know with your mind that Jesus Christ came in the flesh
and died for the world, you need to know in your heart that, by the
same love, He judges the world in righteousness by His Spirit, Who
comes in men:
“But I tell you the truth, it is expedient for you that I go
away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you.
But if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when that One comes, He
will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness,
and concerning judgment” (John 16:7-8 MKJV).
And:
“Truly, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now He
strictly commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed
a day in which He is going to judge the world in righteousness
by a Man Whom He appointed, having given proof to all by raising Him
from
the dead” (Acts 17:30-31 MKJV).
Our Mentor, Authority, and the One by Whom we speak is God, the Lord
Jesus Christ. You speak of, and appeal to, your mentor, a man. Your
mentor was a man-pleaser and has taught you well, seeing you appeal
to a man, not to God. I quote an example of Ray Prinzing’s man-pleasing
from your homepage:
“True, were we duly organized as a non-profit
there would be tax benefits for contributors -- but it would mean
bowing to the system
recognized by this world. By no means do we infer any condemnation
for those so organized, for we are in a TRANSITION TIME, and many have
been set up for years in a government recognized deductible status,
which God has so used.”
Prinzing did not condemn the works of the flesh, because his works
were of the flesh. He served himself and man, not God, just as
the religious do in their 501(c)(3) organizations. His token of “circumcision” was
in the flesh, not the heart. The saints of God, on the other hand,
most definitely condemn the works of men, because God condemns them,
and we do so in no uncertain terms. When a building is condemned, no
one is allowed to live in it, for his or her protection. God has said
to His people that the harlot (false religion) is condemned, and that
they must come out of her so as to not partake of her sins and the
ultimate destruction to follow. “Transition time”? That
is just a fancy excuse and rationale for currying favor with men, lulling
them to sleep in their sins:
“Therefore her plagues will come in one day, death and mourning
and famine. And she will be consumed with fire, for the Lord God Who
judges her is strong” (Revelation 18:8 MKJV).
Victor recently answered another who asked us about Prinzing. I quote
a portion of that reply:
“You are quite skeptical of us for preaching
against the subtle error of so many others. You ask us about Ray
Prinzing. In my spiritual
journey in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s, I enquired
of the Lord concerning many men and organizations (churches), starting
with Billy Graham immediately after we received the Spirit of God.
The Lord has been faithful to answer on all matters, Rodger.
Ray Prinzing is not a genuine servant of God.
I also heard his tapes, and I can also testify that he has preached
truths, but the Lord revealed
to me that he was very religious, steeped in his own righteousness,
and stubborn in all his ways. That is why he suffered so many tragedies
and hardships, contrary to God’s promises of Deuteronomy 28 and
this one:
‘And he said, If you will carefully listen to the voice of the
LORD your God, and will do that which is right in His sight, and will
give ear to His commandments, and keep all His Laws, I will put none
of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians;
for I am the LORD Who heals you’ (Exodus 15:26).
Some have proclaimed Ray to be a great man of
God, who suffered many things for various reasons - preparation,
chastening, satanic opposition
- but the truth is that Ray’s heart was hard, practically incorrigible.
As it is written:
‘Fools are afflicted because of their rebellion, and because
of their iniquities’ (Psalms 107:17 MKJV).
‘An evil one seeks only rebellion; so a cruel messenger shall
be sent against him’ (Proverbs 17:11 MKJV).
Ray was using God to glorify himself, and few
knew it. God knew his heart, and he was not crucified with Christ.
His preaching was ostentatious.
I know a man who praises him and who Ray Prinzing praised or encouraged
in his ways. He knows nothing but the doctrine of the reconciliation
of all things, with all the attendant arguments - full of scorn, pride,
and stubbornness. He writes ignorant articles to the newspaper, thinking
he is something extra special, all because he believes he is spiritually
superior because he knows that all will be saved, and all others who
do not have that doctrine are so stupid. These are Prinzing’s
doings in part, not that scoundrels will not answer for themselves,
and a leader is not always to blame for wayward followers.”
Lenella, you talk about the process of purification and the taking
away of dross. How do you think that happens, except by fire? Who will
bring this fire to earth, but those who are baptized with fire and
are faithful to speak His Word?
“And he who has My Word, let him speak My Word faithfully. What
is the chaff to the wheat? says the LORD. Is not My Word like a fire?
says the LORD; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah
23:28-29 MKJV)
So it is.
You can avail yourself of what we have written and posted on our site.
For starters, you could read Our
Testimonies, Does
God Speak Only Gentle Words?, and The
False Religious Love that Hates (Rejects) God.
Paul Cohen
Lenella didn’t reply. Then she wrote us, about six months later:
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord!
Taken from your article [The Church]:
But now I will inform those of you who “go to church” of
your need to heed that verse, that admonition. Note it says “the
assembling of OURselves together.” “If we walk in the light
as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the
blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness.” Indeed,
when one remains in or goes into organized religion or into darkness
of any kind, knowing better, that one has forsaken assembling with
the true church. He has taken the broad path that leads to hell. [End
Quote]
Concerning the highlighted passage above.
When Solomon began the building process of the temple, every piece
that went into assembling the temple was created offsite. Whether it
be rock, stone, wood, metal work, clothe, everything was processed
far away from the site of the temple. The place where the temple was
being assembled was a holy place, consecrated unto God. There was silence
among those assembling the temple. Every rock, stone, board, metal
work and clothe was made to perfection off site. The site where the
temple was being built was the assembling of everything that went into
erecting the temple. Everything fit perfectly in place because everything
was made to fit offsite.
Saying all of this, as you say, God separates us unto Himself and
when He does, the processing intensifies. We are molded and shaped
into that which we are to become so with the end result, we will be
assembled into His body with Christ through Christ. Therefore if we
do not allow ourself to be “dealt with” and be conformed
to the image of Christ, then we are unfit for the Kingdom of God.
In His Service,
Lenella Maxwell
Thy words were found, and I did eat
them; and Thy Word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart:
- I sat not in the assembly
of
the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of Thy hand.” (Jeremiah
15:16-17).
Victor replied:
Greetings in Christ Jesus, Lenella,
As you may recall, we have been in correspondence before, and you
did not reply to the letter we sent you. Perhaps you did not receive
it? We can send it again if you missed it.
Concerning your words and thoughts here, you need to know that you
must have your own oil. You cannot assume to attain unto the Kingdom
of God by riding the coattails of even a righteous man, much less one
who tried so hard to show himself godly, holy, righteous, and loving,
yet failed before God in that enterprise, though deceiving many into
thinking otherwise. We do not condemn him, and we acknowledge that
he has spoken many true things, but we reserve the right, yea, we recognize
the responsibility before God and man to fulfill the duty of speaking
the truth, which truth must shine for all those who will find their
way in the darkness of this world religious men call light.
You write, though not of yourself: “Therefore
if we do not allow ourself to be ‘dealt with’ and be conformed to the image
of Christ, then we are unfit for the Kingdom of God.”
We have written to you to deal with you, to speak truth whereby you
might be redeemed and conformed to Christ, and we have not heard from
you. Are you “allowing yourself” to be corrected? If not,
how can you be “conformed to the image of Christ”? Are you, Lenella, “unfit
for the Kingdom of God”? Consider.
Contending earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints, having
the oil of a wise virgin, informing those whose lamps are out to go
buy their own,
Victor
P.S. We are here selling that oil, without price. Take heed that you
don’t have forever to obtain. It may already be too late.
Lenella’s reply:
Before I knew of you, I was following my Father’s voice. You
came to me, entered into my world, I did not come to you. Both times
I have written to you it has been with a pure heart and to share the
truth of God. I have never condemned you or had any motives other that
sharing the joy of Christ with others. I give God all the glory because
it is He that is our judge. As Christ was brought before the Pharisee’s
to answer unto man, He remained silent. I owe no man any explanation
of the things of God. It is God that requires things of me, not man,
I owe everything unto God. God is worthy to be praised and glorified
above everything.
In His Service, Lenella
Thy words were found, and I did eat
them; and Thy Word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart:
- I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat
alone because of Thy hand.” (Jeremiah 15:16-17).
Victor's reply:
Lenella, you are right when you say that before you knew us, you were
following your father’s voice (small “f”). We have
come, sent of the Father, to speak to you for your sake. You did not
ask us to come, but you did pray that God would make Himself and His
will known to you, did you not? Have you forgotten? Nevertheless, did
you mean it, or were those loose words?
You deny His coming by man, refusing to confess that Jesus Christ
comes in the flesh. Yet Jesus said:
“He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives
Him Who sent Me. He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet
shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a just
one in the name of a just one will receive a just one’s reward” (Matthew
10:40-41 MKJV)
Throughout all of history, He has come in His vessels, chosen and
prepared by Him to speak His will, for His glory and for the salvation
of many. Do you deny that, or do you think you need no such representation
from Him? Is it up to you to judge, or is it up to God? It so happens
that He has decided to speak to you, and you are resisting. It cannot
go well for you if you do not heed.
“Pure heart,” you say? No man is pure. Your heart is not
pure. It is filled with notions that only flesh can concoct. Your “purity” is
not of God.
We have never said that you have condemned us, although you did complain
that you were hurt by what we had to say to you formerly, finding fault
with us. Is that not condemning God’s work toward you by us,
and thus condemning us? Yet we said nothing in complaint about it,
recognizing full well your spiritual status. But don’t presume
or pretend to have a pure heart or a right relationship with God. You
can deceive the foolish and ignorant, but we, by the grace of God,
have been given to see. As it is written:
“But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit; for the Spirit
searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. For who among men
knows the things of a man except the spirit of man within him? So also
no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. But we have
not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, so that
we might know the things that are freely given to us by God. These
things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches,
but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with
spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit
of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges
all things, yet he himself is judged by no one. For who has known the
mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of
Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:10-16 MKJV).
You write: “I owe no man any explanation
of the things of God.”
First, we asked for no explanation. Second, when it comes to the things
of God, you have none to offer. Third, if you did understand the things
of God, are they only for your understanding, or should you be explaining
them? To whom would you explain them? To yourself? To God? And if you
do not believe in explaining the things of God to anyone, why bother
doing your site, which is not even of your own cistern.
“Drink waters out of your own cistern, and running waters out
of your own well” (Proverbs 5:15 MKJV).
You have swallowed the waters of the “explanation of the things
of God” from those who also knew nothing, and now you posture
as though you know the things of God! Can you not hear your own words
and see your contradiction? What darkness coming from one who professes
to give glory to God and to walk in the Light, Who is Jesus Christ!
Woman, your eye is not single at all. Your works of substitution will
never do.
With your mouth you “give God all the glory,” but with
your life and attitude, you deny Him. Your statement, “As
Christ was brought before the Pharisee’s to answer unto man, He remained
silent” makes no sense. It did not happen. You are religious
and as phony as a three-dollar bill. You need to repent of all your
religious harlotry, Lenella.
Indeed, you do “owe everything unto God” and “God
is worthy to be praised and glorified above everything.” Why
state the obvious? Are you trying to convince us that you have something?
You tell us nothing new, and nothing we do not already know, but you
speak to impress, not believing or living your own words. Is it not
time you started to walk the talk?
Even your talk, however, is abomination before God. All flesh must
go to the fire if you are to walk with the Consuming Fire. You have
never been to the cross, Lenella; all your works are flesh, condemned
by God. Nothing on your side of the cross will be of any more value
to Him than soiled menstrual pads:
“But we are all as the unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses
are as a menstruation cloth. And we all fade as a leaf; and our iniquities,
like the wind, have taken us away” (Isaiah 64:6 MKJV).
Rather than being in His service, you do Him disservice. Repent.
Victor
A site reader shares his thoughts with us about Ray Prinzing, written
to Ray’s writings website “caretaker,” Lenella Maxwell.
Our reader has bought into the great Christian lie that Jesus no longer
personally speaks to His people. According to this lie, spiritual revelation
and life ceased and went into immediate petrification after the last
apostle wrote his last letter. Thank God that’s not true, or
no one could ever be saved! |
