The Word of the Lord to False Prophets

“Then the LORD said to me, The prophets prophesy lies in My Name; I didn’t send them, neither have I commanded them, neither spoke I to them: they prophesy to you a lying vision, and divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their own heart” (Jeremiah 14:14 HNV).

There is a great variety of published prophecies on the net, and almost every one of them is of this type that the Lord identified through Jeremiah, a product of carnal deceit and lies. We recently wrote to the proprietor of a site that promotes such false prophecies, and had correspondence with a few of his contributors, which follows this letter as “Exhibit A” of Reality confronting darkness. Know that the Lord is not mute and He has things to say to every one of you about the dung you have been consuming, spewing, and peddling.

The apostle Paul, speaking of the false apostles and deceitful workers found among you, said that this mimicking behavior should not be considered surprising in the least:

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14).

The deceitfulness of sin is such that, as Jesus said, those who think to do God service will metaphorically yet literally, even physically, kill His servants. Consider how you react to this, those of you who think yourselves to be Christ’s.

Here is an example of the deceitfulness and contradiction of sinners. I saw an article on the Elijah List, which suggested that, like Jehu, “It is the hour to come forth and RIDE LIKE MADMEN dethroning principalities and powers of wickedness while establishing justice and righteousness through a lifestyle of PRESENCE living, working, breathing and being!”

How blind of the author and publisher to make such statements, and any of you reading them not to see the obvious hypocrisy. If they or any of you were anointed with the Spirit of God as was Jehu, the first Jezebel to fall would be the Elijah List itself, an unclean mixture of commerce and imaginations that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.

The author doesn’t see himself or his companions as the problem; he suggests the problem is mainly with the world, its culture and governments. What an easy out and deceitful sidestepping of the issue! The whole world lies in wickedness; this is a given and no surprise at all to those who are in Christ. You religious love to talk about being raptured out of this world when God comes to judge it, not knowing that the Lord comes to judge you first!

Where did you ever get any other notion, except from your escapist mentalities that conjure up your false prophecies? But hear what God says by Jude. He exhorted the saints to contend earnestly for the faith that was first delivered to those who believed in Christ, which faith has been corrupted by ungodly men who have crept in unawares. These, he says, are “ungodly ones perverting the grace of our God into unbridled lust, and denying the only Master, God, even our Lord Jesus Christ” (Jude 1:4).

Those with whom God has a controversy are firstly those who profess to believe in Him. Yes, you. Jude goes on to call you filthy dreamers who defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Continuing:

(10) But these speak blasphemously of those things which they do not know; but what they do know naturally, like unreasoning animals, they are destroyed by these things.
(11) Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and in the error of Balaam they have rushed for profit, and have perished in the rebellion of Korah.
(12) These are stains in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, caring for themselves, they are waterless clouds being carried along by winds; late autumn trees unfruitful, twice having died, having been uprooted,
(13) raging waves on the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars for whom the darkness of the netherworld has been reserved forever.
(14) Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,
(15) to execute judgment against all, and to convict all the ungodly among them about all their ungodly deeds which they have committed impiously, and about all the harsh words which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”
(16) These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks puffed up words, flattering people to gain advantage.

Those who come in the spirit of Jehu today, driving furiously in the zeal of God for His House and judgment, have come for you people. You will say we are too judgmental, too harsh; “Where is the peace?” you ask. We answer you as Jehu did those whom the wicked king Ahab sent to inquire:

“So a horseman went out to them and said, The king says, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What have you to do with peace? Come after me” (2 Kings 9:18).

Those for destruction will stay their course and defend their ways, perishing in them. But as for those for life, there is no time to delay: clean up your houses and repent of your hypocrisies. Reject the smooth words that promise you God’s favor and power, because those things aren’t coming your way while you whore around and walk contrary to Him in all your ways.

How are you walking contrary to God in all your ways? Isn’t it high time you knew? Then you will know why His curse, rather than His blessing, has been on you in the first place. Read Is Your Profession of Faith Vain, Christian? and The True Marks of a Cult.

These are words of truth to bring you into line with God. To those who say “Law, Law!” God replies:

“To the Law and to the Testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because no light is in them” (Isaiah 8:20).

“Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says the LORD, and do tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting: yet I didn’t send them, nor commanded them; neither do they profit this people at all, says the LORD” (Jeremiah 23:32 HNV).

Original letter regarding the website “Prophetic Enrichment from the Throneroom”:

Mr. and Mrs. Donovan,

We were directed to the prophetic section of your site. In it we found prophecies of the flesh, every last one of them. I am including the authors of these prophecies in this email so they might hear and know that they are not speaking the words of the Lord Jesus Christ.

These are your own thoughts, people, your imaginations and wishful thinking processed through a spiritualized filter that employs Biblical terminology to create a product you ascribe to Him. But it isn’t Him.

Mr. Donovan, you exercise no discernment because your works are also not in Christ. You don’t know Him. You flatter and encourage others to speak whatever comes to their mind and to be confident in themselves prophesying, because you do the same thing. You may call it “learning to prophesy,” but you are mimicking what you think the real thing looks like. The Kingdom of God, however, is not playacting and fantasizing.

You all need to repent of playing God and prepare to get real. We have what you fantasize and prophesy about - the Real Thing. Victory, peace, boldness, unity, life, and light are all here and now, not just waiting for us somewhere over the rainbow, being led on forever by the proverbial carrot. The Lord has done it, because He is It. He is here. We are in Him, and He is doing the work, NOW.

First of all, I do not get into name calling or judging from anyone like you. Second of all, you must not have any discernment at all because this is not 'Mr. Donovan.' I have no clue who 'Mr. Donovan' is. So I will be praying for good discernment from you before I take any advice at all from someone who has no clue at all who he is even emailing. Plus, I spend all my time edifying, encouraging and ministering the ‘good news’ just like Jesus did. Anyone else who waste his time with a website who only promotes negative, name calling and bashing needs a real life and is also working in an antichrist spirit. Jesus preached the good news not exposing everyone around him for ridiculous things.

Jeremy, I was not calling you “Mr. Donovan.” You can’t even read or pay attention to simple words properly, let alone discern spirits and motives. Who are you to be questioning others, when you are so clued out in all realms? And who are you to be condemning us for judging others? You come criticizing and judging us after the flesh, you hypocrite! But we judge you by the Spirit of God.

Apparently the prophecy (“HEAR OH, ISRAEL! THE FIRE SHALL WALK AGAIN IN JERUSALEM!”) was posted without your knowledge (not necessarily a problem). Nevertheless, it has your signature, accompanied by a link to your site.

While you prophesy from your flesh, imagination, and dark spirits, we have a real message from God for you: The time you spend “edifying, encouraging and ministering the ‘good news’” is not “just like Jesus did.” You serve “another Jesus,” one that Paul warned about, a false Christ that has nothing to do with God. What you do bears no resemblance in reality to what Jesus Christ did or presently does. You are preaching another gospel, one of false love and imitative works of the flesh that promises life but ends in death and destruction.

A prime example of the destroyer at work in your gospel is prominently displayed on your homepage, regarding your friend and coworker, Jill Austin. You describe how her guts were twisted up inside her, which was killing her. Then the surgeons intervened to operate and finished her off. You very briefly describe this gruesome process and then write of her death that she has “an awesome reward in store for her as she enters the glory of His presence.”

Where was God’s Presence when her guts were strangling her life-force? Where was His Presence when men tried to alleviate this wretched condition and killed her? What a blind liar and fool you are! This is not the death of a saint or martyr of God. God’s beloved children do not die from accidents and calamitous diseases – “I tell you; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:5 EMTV).

God was not with Jill before or during her death, and she did not enter His Presence afterwards. She died the death of an unrepentant sinner. God is otherwise cruel and heartless, or impotent and not God.

But you know nothing of Him or His ways. Did the Son of God boast? Was He a self-promoter? Was the apostle Paul, or were any of His servants? “It is not good to eat much honey; so for men to search their own glory is not glory” (Proverbs 25:27 MKJV).

But the great object of your praise is yourself, not God:

“This ministry desires to see every believer awake to their destiny. Jeremy releases the glory and the anointing everywhere he goes with a manifestation of the Kingdom of God. He ministers with a revelational prophetic teaching gift that brings a freshness of the word of the Lord to the body of Christ. He teaches the principal that we are positioned in heavenly places and are called to minister out of that realm.

This is accomplished through conferences, prophetic meetings and church services. He serves on many governing boards, speaks to business leaders across the nation and also holds a Doctorate of Divinity degree. He has had the privledge of ministering prophetically to Governor Bob Riley of Alabama. He has also ministered to thousands overseas including millionaires around the world [‘Is there not a division in your minds? Have you not become judges with evil thoughts?’ (James 2:4 BBE)] He has travelled to many nations including Jamaica, Indonesia, Haiti, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bahamas, etc. He has hosted and been a guest on several radio programs from Indonesia to New York.”

How unlike Christ you are, the very opposite of Him! He did not boast of Himself, but He made Himself of no reputation, glorifying God and thereby giving life to mankind. You are as the proverbial braggart: “A man boasting himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind, but with no rain” (Proverbs 25:14 LITV).

You are the essential antiChrist. Your words and spirit, which men praise, are utterly vile and loathsome in the sight of God. As Jesus said to your fathers: “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God” (Luke 16:15 MKJV).

It is no surprise to us at all that you don’t like the thought of God’s judgment, because He has come to judge you and to destroy your works. He is here as a consuming fire, and all that you have prophesied and created is of highly flammable materials. It is garbage. There is no resistance possible, but all will go up in smoke.

The Lord has come to you as a thief in the night, and you have been found out. Contrast your reaction to our letter with that of Lisa Thorstad. She asked for the materials to find out what was happening. But you responded by blaspheming the Holy Spirit, calling what we do in Christ an “antichrist spirit.” Show us what we have exposed that is “ridiculous.”

You have nothing but empty words and lies. These indicate that the time is ripe for your judgment, and you will know that God has spoken to you by us.

Steven Bliss, Paul Cohen here. Are we caustic and venomous as you charge? I described the ugliness and blasphemy of Jeremy Lopez’s words and ways. How does that demonstrate wrongdoing? If there wasn’t blasphemy on his part, there would be nothing to say on ours. Is the surgeon to blame for the cancer that must be cut away?

But the Lord said you and your ilk are just like whitewashed tombs, which appear righteous to men but are full of dead men’s bones and all things rotten. This explains why you have nothing of substance to say – just the baseless charges His accusers have brought forth from the beginning. Dead men have nothing to offer, except to provide an example of the wages of sin and to serve as a backdrop against which God shines His Light, manifesting His true sons.

For this, we are very thankful for you.

Now, I have a question for you: Was the Lord caustic and venomous for calling men whitewashed tombs, vipers, and fools? How was He not caustic and venomous, but we are, when we say the same things of you and your companions that He said of your fathers?

Victor: I recall when I was raised on a farm and there were times when my mother had to use a bit of firmness to wash me, and it was quite uncomfortable. When we take a holy cleanser to spiritual fault, even filth, those who possess that filth cry, squirm, and scream like little children whose parents are scrubbing their ears and scalps because they are so dirty. They can even suspect their parents of cruelty, at least inconsideration. No, Steven, our attitudes are not at all caustic or venomous, but your wickedness in savoring the things of men causes you to see it that way.

This prophecy is not a word from the Lord, Lisa. As it is written:

“And if there are two or three prophets, let them speak, and let the others discern” (1 Corinthians 14:29 LITV).

We are in agreement in the Lord that your prophecy is judging things after the flesh and preaching the works of another Christ, a social do-gooder who “loves” everyone. The Lord Jesus Christ does love everyone indeed, but His love is not the same as man’s love. He is after truth in the inward parts.

Are you interested in learning the difference between the True and the false? You asked for the Lord’s will to be done in your life. We are the expression of His will, because we are one with Him. Will you then learn of Him from us?

I have no idea who you are or why you felt you needed to send this email I agree with the statement you made that the kingdom of God is not playacting or fantasizing, but neither is the kingdom or Spirit of God one of judgmentalism, condemnation or accusation. I do believe the word says to speak the truth in love and I fail to find anything in this letter that even hints of that.

Laura, you say you have no idea who we are. We are express servants of the Lord Jesus Christ, God of Heaven and earth. You have been to our site, yet you still have no idea? Are you blind? Yes, you are.

As to your wondering about our purpose, we have openly stated it - to call all those who take the Lord’s Name in vain and speak falsely as from Him to repentance, you included. Your day is done, Laura, you and your false love that is a stench in God’s nostrils.

You do not agree that the Kingdom of God is not playacting or fantasizing. If you did agree, you would not be so foolish as to hastily and ignorantly brush us off. Your problem is that you do not know the difference between the Reality of God and religiosity. That is why you condemn us for speaking from and in Him, is that not so?

You fail to find love because you look for the counterfeit Satanic kind, the only kind you know, the kind the Lord Jesus Christ despises with passion. It was this kind of sentimentality and denial of negative realities for which the Lord rebuked Peter. It is Satan’s spirit you expect of us, to be in kinship with yours. You won’t get it from us. We are here on business, Kingdom business, the Lord’s business. Shall we be judged by you?

Nevertheless, we are here to reprove the works of darkness and those who work them, though we are not here to strive. Unless you continue to engage us, as you do here, with judgment and scorn, and then expect us to go away silently, we will leave you to your preferred folly. The Lord has rebuked you, and you need receive no further warnings from Him.
