Definition of False Teacher: One who presumes to teach in the Name of the Lord when God has not sent him.

Jimmy Swaggart – Deceived and Deceiving

A site reader, Will, asked us if Jimmy Swaggart is false or not. Our reply:

Hi Will,

Jimmy Swaggart is false. Is there any question in your mind? Try using these godly guidelines with Swaggart or any other teacher/minister, including yourself, and see what the verdict is according to the Word of God:

The True Marks of a Cult
Diabolical Doctrines

Paul Cohen

Will’s reply:

Thanks for you responce. I was just surprized that Swaggart wasn't on your list. I just know that he believes heaven is a planet. Well, maybe it is, it doesn't matter. Just as long as it is there. It just seems to me that he thinks he has the only truth there is. But don't they all. I was watching Frances and Friends one day and someone wrote and asked if they were the only four going to heaven, I got a good chuckle out of that one. It just seems, it's their way or the hellway. Thanks

Paul’s reply:

You’re welcome, Will. Read the introduction at False Teachers Exposed and you may understand more about who is posted on our site, who isn’t, and why. Also, if anyone takes advantage of the links provided in the intro (the same ones I gave you previously), they can readily see who is false, Lord willing.

And if the Lord isn’t willing, there’s a reason why people are deceived by false teachers:

“Because of this, God sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie; that they all might be judged who didn't believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 HNV).

Have you heard The Good News?

Paul
