A Deluded Counselor and His Cockamamie
Story
In response to our conversation with Daniel,
Larry Smith wrote:
Dear Victor and Paul,
Having read your emails to and from Daniel I
am reminded of a story.
The Preacher scolded the congregation for
not obeying the message from “those who have the rule over
you.” One
guileless teen ignorantly asked why the rulers’ words seemed
different from what she read in her Bible. Sternly the Preacher warned
her
that her salvation was in jeopardy unless she submitted to the
rulers’ words
as the two rulers were selected by the Holy Spirit and filled
with His words whether or not their words were different from
the Bible.
In less than a year the teen grew too frustrated at
trying to
match the leaders’ words with her Bible. She gave up.
Committed suicide and no longer plagued the leaders with her
inquiries.
A few days later the deceased teen’s Dad drove
a dump truck on to the yard of each leader and backed up to
their
porches before
making his dump. The Preachers each rushed to their front door
when they heard the truck. “Why did you dump this garbage
all over my porch?”
“Garbage? It’s not garbage. It is exactly what you told
my daughter and continue to tell your entire congregation. Manure.”
Each
gives what he has. I hope you learn about the Grace of God before
you meet him, Victor and Paul.
Just a sinner saved by Grace,
Larry Smith
Victor and Paul’s reply:
Hi Larry,
We surely need some context here to your story.
There are preachers
who scold in unrighteousness, of which there are so many, and preachers
who scold in righteousness, of which
there are so few. Of the latter, our brothers Peter and John
the Immerser
are two examples of many in Scripture:
Acts 8:20-23 MKJV
(20) But Peter said to him, May your silver perish with you,
because you have thought that the gift of God may be purchased
with money.
(21) You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your
heart is not right in the sight of God.
(22) Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray
God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.
(23) For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in
the bond of iniquity.
Luke 3:7-8 MKJV
(7) Then he said to the crowd that came forth to be baptized
by him, O generation of vipers! Who has warned you to flee
from the
wrath
to come?
(8) Therefore bring forth fruits worthy of repentance, and
do not begin to say within yourselves, We have Abraham for
our father.
For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to
Abraham from
these stones.
There are those preachers who insist one ought
to believe and obey them whether their words agree with
Scripture or
not,
of which
there are many, and there are those whose true desire is
that their hearers
heed God’s Word, walk in the Truth, and never believe
anything contrary to His Word. Our beloved brother John is
an example of the
latter in the Scriptures:
“I rejoiced greatly that I found your children walking in truth, as
we have received command from the Father” (2 John 1:4 MKJV).
“If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do
not receive him into your house, nor speak a greeting to him. For he
who speaks
a greeting to him is partaker of his evil deeds” (2
John 1:10-11 MKJV).
There are those who rule in righteousness,
as God’s
anointed, even as the Scriptures declare (Hebrews 13:17),
and there are those
who presume to rule by God when they have nothing to do
with Him.
Who is to know the difference? Who will be the
judge? There are those who think the preacher’s words
are not in agreement with the Scriptures and those who
think otherwise.
And either of those could
be right or wrong.
On all of these things, thus far, I expect
you would agree; perhaps not.
So the preacher to whom you
refer called on his congregation to believe and obey him, whether
or not what he said was
in agreement with the
Word of God. By God’s grace, we do not do that.
Are you suggesting a comparison between us? Do you have
any
indication that we do such
a thing? You give no substance for this insinuation.
Therefore, you are guilty of being a false accuser, are
you not?
Now for the “ignorant and guileless” teen: The
Scriptures
are very clear that anyone who comes to the Lord, He
receives and keeps
that one:
John 10:27-30 MKJV
(27) My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they
follow Me.
(28) And I give to them eternal life, and they
shall never ever perish, and not anyone
shall pluck them out of My
hand.
(29) My Father Who gave them to Me is greater than
all, and no one is able to pluck them
out of My Father’s hand.
(30) I and the Father are one!
“Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost those who
come unto God by Him, since He ever lives to make intercession for
them” (Hebrews
7:25 MKJV).
So far, Larry, it is evident you are preaching “another
gospel” and “another
Jesus,” if we are to judge by this story.
Jesus
made this sure promise:
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you
shall find; knock,
and it shall be opened unto you: For every
one that
asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall
be opened
(Matthew 7:7-8 KJV). So, are you telling us the preacher
of your story was greater in power than Jesus Christ, or are you
telling us the teen
wasn’t
truly seeking after, or being drawn by, Jesus Christ?
(The teen is, in fact, a murderess for killing herself.)
Or
are you calling Jesus Christ a fool and liar, as
you call us? Which of the three possibilities
is it?
Now for the father of the deceased daughter: Was he a true judge of the preachers? Did he know the
Lord
and
have the
Spirit of
righteous judgment? If so, why didn’t he teach and comfort his daughter in the way of God?
Apparently
he had no idea of the Lord or His ways.
First,
he was unable to instruct his own family in the
Truth and shelter his daughter from falsehood.
If he
knew the leaders
were
preaching falsehood, why didn’t he instruct
his daughter? Or did he try and she wouldn’t
listen, in which case she broke the Fifth Commandment
by dishonoring her father, and perished in
her rebellion?
Second, the father returned evil
for what he perceived to be evil, contrary to the
will of God. So clearly,
we can’t trust the
daughter’s or the father’s judgment
in this matter.
And when the leaders demanded obedience
and submission based on their presumed position
of authority rather
than on truth,
then
we have
quite a mess, don’t we? All are wrong!
Larry,
who came up with this cockamamie story anyway,
thinking it to be a wise parable of sorts? You? “Each
gives what he has,” you
say. Can there be any doubt you don’t have
much, except for a lot of “manure”?
You say, “I hope you learn about the Grace
of God before you meet him, Victor and Paul.”
If
you were not blind, you would know that we have
received and learned about the grace of God,
and that is because
we have already
met Him.
You have a beam to remove from your eye, friend.
Otherwise, you would know we are His brethren
and speak by Him.
Are you just a sinner saved by grace, Larry,
or are you a presumptuous, unregenerate, foolish
man,
trying
to
sign off
with a show of
humility after making up a silly story to demonstrate
his cunning and wisdom?
Tares are never quite
the same as wheat. You and Daniel have never known the Lord Jesus
Christ, or you two
simply would
not say the
things you do and contradict yourselves so
readily, not nearly.
Your words are the words
of foolish children of darkness, mumbling, fumbling and stumbling,
yet
so dishonest,
insisting they see.
Not knowing Him is not
something we would judge you for (we dare not judge anyone
for that).
Your sin
is that
you falsely
use
His Name and claim to have some understanding
from Him. You take upon
yourself His Name in vain, and we can
already see that God has not held you guiltless
for it.

Larry’s reply:
Each gives what he has. I’ll clean yours off my porch. Then
bask in His Grace.
In Him,

Victor and Paul’s reply:
Larry Smith, God is finished winking at your vile works and blasphemies,
calling iniquity “grace” and the Word of God “manure.”
Whereas
you have heard of, imagined, and perhaps even known, threatening
preachers who do not represent God, now you will know what happens
to those who refuse to listen to those who speak the truth in Christ.
That goes for both you and Daniel. Everything you put your hands and
mouths to now is cursed.

Larry’s reply:
Each gives what he has.
Grace to you,
Larry
Daniel’s reply:
Mr Hafichuk,
Your name is apprapo being you are the victor of "half-ly" divided
words of truth cleverly strung together and demoniacally spued forth
with the spitius vomitus.
Know ye not whom you even curse, for you cannot pray hell upon another
and escape it yourself.
Alas, you have laid yourself a snare. Your curses are impotent spells
of witchcraftery having no power save to expose yourself as the self
appointed prophet of Antichrist disguised as an Amos of Old. You come
of your own accord. You are a fevered, self righteous and deluded man,
a perverter of the Way.
Know not even to whom you speak, a man who is your elder and twice
your years in the Lord's service. You are a rebellious teen, wildly
presumptuous, amazingly arrogant, and fond of hearing yourself speak.
Be gone with you and your cult of self importance. Know that if I
receive an email from you or your domain again I will report to a list
for blacklist servers once for every unsolicited email I have already
received.
Blessed indeed are are those who take no offense by you. You are offensive,
but not for the sake of Christ.
Paul and Victor’s reply:
Larry, you guys are going to have to get your act together. You wax
pious, saying, “Grace to you,” while your charge comes
to your aid, spewing “spitius vomitus” on us.
But how will you be able to get your act together when God’s
curse is on you?
“And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot
stand” (Mark 3:24 KJV).
You may share this with your rabid friend. We feel no need to get
any closer to a dog frothing at the mouth.
