Answering the Atheist from A to Z

Mr. Magee has a problem. He says that God, the Lord Jesus Christ, does not exist, yet insists that he knows Christ’s mind and can explain God’s words. This approach sabotages his credibility from the get-go, but we answer many of his reasonings and objections that are common to atheists. The evidence for God and His goodness to mankind cannot be denied.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ Ends Atheism

While denying Jesus Christ and the God of the Bible, some atheists admit there may be an unknown God. Meet Bruce, who rejects his religious past and its man-made version of God as though it is the Real One. He argues against this false version while we answer by our revelation of the True One through Jesus Christ, showing Bruce the God he has not known.

An Atheist Tempts God

The most vocal and rabid God-deniers are often, if not always, victims of men’s religions. But rather than recognizing their own weakness and corruption, they hold others in contempt. With no love of God, there is no love of man. Men have let them down; therefore they say God does not exist. We see how this drives one man to call on God to curse him just to prove that He exists, the spiritual equivalent of self-mutilation.

There Is a Better Way

A man struggles with an apathetic atheistic attitude that was masked over by going to church for a time, but eventually emerged as he became disillusioned and left religion. We encourage him to keep going, as it is a positive thing to learn that God is not in church organizations or men’s works. If you know where to not look and take your focus off of where God is not, your ears may be opened to hear about where He is.

God and Violence

Some people excuse themselves for their atheism by saying that God, as portrayed in the Old Testament, is a violent ogre. How well does this charge hold up when examined by the facts in the Record Book? If atheists insist that God is not in control, then they are responsible for the ever present violence in the world. We show how this is precisely the case. Man is to be blamed for all the evil that happens to him, not because there is no God, but because man lives without God. We show how God brings evil on men as His judgment that ultimately leads to redemption. All things work together for good.

Exposing Evolutionists

How the words of the inspired writer come alive when applied at the proper time and place. And here evolutionists meet God:

“Seeming to be wise, they were in fact foolish, and by them the glory of the eternal God was changed and made into the image of man who is not eternal, and of birds and beasts and things which go on the earth” (Romans 1:22-23 BBE).
